Mizuki got it; this guy was the type to push his Pokemon to their absolute limits. That meant she could still get a bit more fun out of him. Now was her chance to turn things around. Four moves had been used; now she could use that.
"Agility and Metal Claw," she ordered. The Taunt had worn off, so Sneasel took her chance. As soon as she touched the ground she pushed off at high speeds to escape the attack. She then turned back, taking her chance to attack.

With the Taunt having worn off, it put Thistle in a hard position. Unphased by this, however, Alexander simply called out, "Use Metal Claw to defend yourself!" Thistle did so, but only a second to late, making her defense just a few notches less than it would have been. "Follow it up with another Taunt!" Thistle nodded, and quickly sent out Taunt, seeing it as her best line of defense forthe rest of the battle.

"Not again..." Mizuki hissed as Sneasel got irritated again. Luckily, since Thistle was so busy using an attack to block, she had an opening. "Use Beat Up."
Sneasel cried out again, bringing her team onto the battlefield. Drifloon, Sunkern, Vulpix and Pidgey all charged at their opponent. Sneasel remained in the position she was in, intending to dodge at the last second and get her attack in last.

The beat up caught Thistle off guard, and by the time all of the other Pokemon except Sneasel had hit her, she was hardly hanging on. She refused to let her body fall however, as she held herself up with one of her claws, leaving the other one free to attack. "Thistle, stand up!" Alexander's words echoed in her head, and she forced herself to stand for a few seconds. She wavered a little, and Alexander seemed to ignore the fact that the last attack would make her faint, "Thistle, use metal claw when the other Sneasel comes at you!" Thistle nodded slightly, and lifted one of her claws, as it glowed to use Metal Claw. It would not be as strong as she would have liked it to be, but it was the last she could do. Thistle prepared herself for the last attack, knowing that she would fail Alexander.

"Your Sneasel's had enough," Mizuki noted, her expression nothing but a cold hard gaze. Her Sneasel wasn't in the best condition either, but she could still fight. This last Metal Claw wouldn't be as strong as the rest, so she came up with an idea.
"Keep going; don't back down," Mizuki ordered. Despite the attack, Sneasel kept going. She knew that it would hit her, but she also knew that this was the end. All she had to do was stay up.
"It was a good fight, but this is the end. I win."

Thistle fell after the last attack; she just couldn't continue on. She tried to stand, but as soon as she had hit the ground she just couldn't stand. Alexander seemed to ignore this, and simply narrowed his eyes at Thistle. ~"I've...failed."~ Thistle's eyes snapped shut before she completely fainted. Alexander simply recalled her back into her Poke ball. He did not say 'good job', or, 'you've done well'. He was disappointed in her, and that was what she needed to know. Masquerade, however, knew that Alexander could not stand how badly Thistle was beaten. Only; he'd never admit it, and she didn't expect him too. They had lost; and that was all that mattered to Alexander.
