Character
Name: Gaia Blackstone
Age: 15
Gender:Female
Pokémorph:Leafeon
Appearance: Long light brown hair falls past her shoulders in waves, stopping at her shoulder blades. She has a small fringe, which is normally brushed to the left side of her face, partially covering her left eye, which is moss green, like her right. Her hair is almost always messy and tangled. Quite often twigs, leaves and it’s of grass can be found in it, due to her habit to leave the path in search of pokémon.
Pushing the way out of her head are two leaf like ears, mainly green, but are brown, slightly light then her hair, at the base. Despite their leaf like appearance, they are soft, almost velvety to touch. Starting often her fore head is another green leaf like growth, but it’s often brushed back and kept hidden amongst her hair.
From the base of her spine grows her tail, which again is leaf like. It is wide, and once more mainly green, with a light brow base. It curves naturally on its own, but she can straighten it and move it at will. Generally if she’s just relaxes it it’ll reach the back of her knees.
She is around 5’11, though her ears, often standing at least partially upright, cast the illusion she’s even taller. Her build is slender, and she has some curves, though perhaps not as much as she would like.
She wears a simple pair of jeans, which are a bit worn, and have had repairs made to them at the base. Her trainers are black, and plain, like the t-shirts she wears, with a dark green jacket over the top. Around her waist is a belt, where, not surprisingly, she keeps her pokéballs. She also keeps a small notepad and pen there, if she needs to make quick notes, or make quick sketches.
Personality:Gaia is normally a very calm, patient, relaxed person, not letting small mishaps or mistakes phase her. She is also very kind and passive, disliking arguing and fighting with others. She cares deeply for her pokémon, and only a little less for those not her own, of she has a chance to get to know them.
She has some confidence in herself, but it is usually reserved for her pokémon and friends, always cheering them on and having faith in them. She trusts easily, and will always forgive, which can be both a good and a bad thing. Another bad thing is that at time’s she can be gullible, believing what she is told, especially when it is Arion telling her, and at times she goes off in her own little world not always paying attention.
Arion also calls her lazy, as she is normally happy sitting around for hours doing nothing, but she just answers back that it’s only him being impatient. At times she can get excited, and she will be a bit more energetic than usual, often when it involves catching a new pokémon, an egg, or seeing a rare pokémon.
History:Gaia was not born as a normal human is. She was created in a lab, by a vain scientist, who wished to use her for his own gain. As an embryo her genes were spliced with those of an eevee, before being exposed to the unleashed power of a leaf stone, causing the genes and her to evolve.
To begin with it seemed as though his experiment was completely successful, and he had the perfect pawn. However he soon noticed her demon was only able to change between 8 forms, those linked with eevee. He placed it down to something going wrong in the splicing method; however he wasn’t too bothered, for it wasn’t really a problem.
However as she grew up the Leafeon morph always had more of an interest in watching, drawing and playing with pokémon instead of battling and capturing them. Despite the rigid tests and training he put her through she remained impassive to his wishes to the extent he started mistreating her.
It remained that way till she was 9, when fed up with the scientist’s treatment of Gaia, Arion finally tried to convince her to escape, and to seek a better life. At first she hadn’t wanted to, because although upset and unhappy, she still didn’t want to disappoint him, but eventually he succeeded, and they stole away one night.
But, however imperfect she might have been, the scientist wasn’t prepared to let her go that easily. He chased after her and her daemon, using his pokémon to try to find her. For a week the pair hid from him, trying to get away, until the young Leafeon morph finally collapsed from exhaustion and hunger.
She woke up not in the lab, as she had expected, but on a soft bed, in a house, wearing new clothes, Arion curled up beside her. She asked him what had happened, and he explained that before the scientist had caught up a researcher doing a field study had come across the pair, and after a lot of persuasion had convince Arion to allow him to take Gaia to his home and a promised safety. A little while later the researcher came up, and confirmed what her daemon had said.
His name was Sebastian Blackstone, and was trying to figure out the secrets of pokémon, especially evolution. He had always wanted a daughter, but after his wife had died of an illness, he had given up hope on getting one. When he had found her, and heard her story from Arion, his hopes had been renewed. He offered her a home and legal protection from their pursuer, as long as she didn’t mind helping him with his research.
After a long thought, and heated discussion, the pair agreed, and she became his adopted daughter, helping him in the lab, and with field work.
As she grew up she found a new love for pokémon, and for drawing, and when she wasn’t helping Sebastian she could be found outside among the pokémon, either drawing them, or studying them.
Seeing the way she loved pokémon, looking after them, studying them, and just generally being around them, Sebastian suggested to her that she left him and travelled around, at least for a while. It would help with his research, and she would get to see and draw many more pokémon then she would, staying with him. His first idea was that she would become a trainer, but she dislike the idea of catching pokémon just for battling, so he siggested she be a breeder as well, as it fitted in with her love of drawing, and watching pokemon grow.
Career:Breeder/Trainer
The Daemon
Name:Arion
Form (If settled): He has yet to settle, and is unsure whether he will.
Favourite Form/s (If not settled): Jolteon, Vaporeon, Umbreon
Appearance: Due to unforeseen problems in the creation of Rina, Arion is only capable of transforming into various forms linked with Eevee. His eyes are always a warm brown, whatever form he is in, but besides that, it is impossible to tell him apart.
Personality:Arion is a bit more aggressive then Gaia, and a lot more impatient. Quiet often he will dislike new faces at first, before he gets to know them, but when he does he is like Gaia, and fairly friendly towards them.
He is loyal to the Leafeon morph, and although he can, tries his hardest not to leave her side, even when she tells him to. He sees himself as a sort of big brother to her, despite being merely her soul, and is protective over her, hating to see her sad.
He will however at times tease her, playing on her gullibility, or just calling her lazy, but he will always care for her, and hates anyone who see her as an object, or thing to be hated, feared and teased, instead of a person.
