Sporian skateboarded to the lab, his daemon on the back in Rattata form so she would fit. Sporian skateboarded into the lab, jumped off his skateboard, and stopped it before it hit something. Trey (The daemon) morphed int Mankey form.
"Ta da!" Sporian exclaimed. "Hi. We would like to get a starter pokemon. I'm Sporian, and my Daemon here's name is Trey."
"Hey." Trey said.

ic// Professor Pine tutted as a boy skateboarded into the lab. What was he thinking? He hated it when young morons just let themselves in and made a huge noise. Hadn't they ever heard of knocking? He raced into the room, Telepa, his Noctowl daemon, reaching it a few moments before him. "Yeah, hi, Sporian, but do you mind knocking? Seriously, there are baby Pokémon in here and you've set them all off crying. Listen-" he said. Sure enough, the sound of dozens of little wails could be heard.
Pine sighed, tucking a loose strand of hair behind his ear. This kid couldn't be more than ten, could he? Normally it was the punks who let themselves in. Then again, he didn't get many ten year olds; most people went to school for a bit longer before becoming a trainer. Well, anyway, to business. "Well, my name's Professor Pine, and this is Telepa." he introduced himself. Telepa's eyes were narrowed angrily, and she gave a low threatening hoot. She famously belived in no nonsense, so naturally she dislike Sporian. "Anyway, what Pokémon do you have in mind for your starter?"

OOC: Kay. I'll change it, but she'll still be trey, and a tomboy.
Ic: "Sorry. I didn't mean to. I'll help quiet them if you want. I'd like some kind of dark type. Maybe Poochyena."
A dark Type? Trey thought. I thought we were gonna go with a Psychic!
Think about it. Sporian thought back. Dark is immune to Psychic.

ic// Professor Pine nodded. Right, a Poochyena. This was the more interesting part of any lab visits; meeting the Pokémon you could choose from. He wasn't sure what the other Professor's methods were, but he personally thought that his was a good idea; that way, the new trainers could be sure of what they were recieving and choose one with a good personality, too. He grabbed three Pokéballs from his mighty filing cabinet, releasing the Pokémon within for Sporian and Trey to see.
The first Poochyena seemed to be fairly dark. It stood one the spot it was released, glaring at Sporian, before padding slowly around him. It seemed to be pretty emotionless, and didn't look like it'd care too much for anyone or anything.
The second one was lively and cheery. It grinned a goofy doggy grin. Oh, boy! A trainer! It rushed up to greet Sporian, yapping happily. It seemed like it was full of energy, and very, very friendly.
The third and final Poochyena seemed strong, as though it'd be a good battler. It padded up close to Sporian, but still kept it's distance. It's tail wagged lazily as it stared at a fly, before slapping it to the ground with a paw. It didn't squish it, it just caught it and let it go. It seemed like it would be good in battle, and loyal but needed to warm up to it's trainer first.

IC: Sporian looked at the three pokemon. He lneeled down and petted the energetic Poochyena. "You are quite the energetic one, aren't you?" He turned to the strong one. "You look strong and loyal." He pet it.
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Trey asked.
"Yes. I'll take the third one."

Pine smiled, nodding. Yes, he'd have thought that someone with as much energy as this ten year old before him would have gone for the more hyperactive Poochyena. It was good when people judged their starters on personality, rather than looks; sometimes, people went straight for a shiny. Well, true, he didn't have and shiny Poochyenas, but still... anyway, he didn't want to keep Sporian waiting; he knew how impatient rookie trainers were. Returning the other two Poochyena to their Pokéballs while Telepa grabbed a small bag and gave it to him, he placed two of the Poochyena's Pokéballs back in the cabinet, and handed the third one to Sporian along with the items. These would be helpful on his journey. "Right, that's all you should need for now. Goodbye, and good luck." Pine smiled.

"Thankyou." Trey and Alec said at the same time, and Alec jumped on his skateboard, returned the Poochyena. "I'll name you Buck." Alec said. Trey turned into Rattata form and jumped on. They (quietly) skateboarded out.
