"Maybe I find something out this way, right Ven?"Rima's hands were folded behind her back as she calmly walked forward and stared into the cloudless sky above her. Walking behind her were her Daemon, Ven, and her other 2 Pokemon Kei and Mina. Ven pulled a sympathetic face and sighed as he lowered his head. Kei and Mina looked at Ven who seemed to suddenly lose his hyperness.
"What is wrong Ven?" Kei asked as he stared at the Vaporeon by his side, wondering what was happening. Ven looked up at the Riolu eyes sad and sigehd once more then said quietly so that Rima didn't here,
"Rima's been looking for some clues abut her past, but we haven't come across a thing for years. I'm getting worried."
The mood around the 3 Pokemon was a little blue and awkward and Ven adn Kei pulled sad faces. Mina wiggled her shiny purple tail and shook her head at the pair,
"Boys are really hopeless you know."
Kei and Ven startled and stared at Mina surprised. Mina wasn't looking them in the eyes but held her head up high,
"There's no point in being sad about these kind of things, Ven you're usually annoyingly happy and spunky all the time now look at you. Seriousness doesn't fit the bill really. You need to be optomistic."
Mina went down on all fours and ran toward Rima who was walking in front of them, she smiled as she jumpe dinto Rioma's arms. Rima caught her Shiny Meowth in her arms and held her like a cat, stroking behind her ears as Mina's tail happily swayed in the air. Ven and Kei smiled at Mina, thought she seemed horrible she was unitentionally doing them a favour. Rima stroked Mina and then said,
"I wonder what kind of Pokemon we'll meet."

Two Pokemon, a mouse and a squirrel, skipped along the route. The squirrel's cute face seemed more mature than the mouse's, and it certainly seemed the bravest of the two. It was walking in front, and the strides of it's stubby legs were confident. The yellow Pokemon behind it looked about nervously, tail twitching every now and then as it scampered along with irregular intervals.
They both stopped as Rima and the wild Pokemon became visable to each other. They were a Pachirisu and Pichu. Pichu, the one behind Pachirisu, flicked it's large ears, eyes wide in fear. A soft growl escaped Pachirisu's throat.
~Pichu, let's fight. We can do it. Let's fight a double battle; the human has enough Pokemon!~ Pachirisu gave an excited squeak. Rima, of course, would not be able to understand; but her daemon would be a handy translator.
~I-I'm not so sure. You c-can battle. If the trainer's nice, or you win, I m-might fight, or join without any pain... besides, the daemon could be either the Vaporeon or Meowth, and I don't like the look of any of them.~ Pichu stammered in reply. Clearly, this was not the fighting sort.
~Nonsense, the daemon's obviously Vaporeon.~ Pachirisu muttered, before turning to the trainer. ~Come on, fight me! Lose to me!~ it cried, relying on Ven to translate the threat to Rima.

Rima stopped as the Pichu and Pachirisu stepped in front of them. Mina's eyes narrowed as she Rima's hands stopped passing through her fur and she angrily stared at the Electric types in front of her. Kei stayed calm and listened to the Pokemon's outbursts whereas Ven sat down obediently and stared up to Rima translating for her as he usually does,
"Basically that Pachirisu there wants a battle and it seems pretty confident."
Rima looked over at the scared Pichu and the brave and proud Pachirisu, she smiled and nodded about to send Kei into his first battle. But Mina jumped out of Rima's arms and angrily walked on all fours over to the Pachirisu, her eyes glaring at the squirrel. Her gaze locked, the Meowth angrily growled back. She opened her mouth and snapped,
"Just what do you think you're doing you annoying wild little squirrel."
Rima blinked in surprise as Mina growled and then stared down at the Vaporeon by her side who said without looking up,
"Mina wants to battle."
Rima nodded and called out to her Meowth,
"This one's up to you Mina."
Mina smiled cheekily at the Pachirisu, one side of her mouth raising. She confidently purred and said,
"You really think you can beat me?"
Mina lifted one of her front paws off of the ground and drew it back, a shiny claw glittered out from her pampered fur and with a force behind it made it's way toward the Pachirisu's face. Mina was using a scratch attack.

Pachirisu growled. ~Of course I'll defeat you!~ it snarled. It eyed Mina steadily, working out what to do. Pachirisu was a quick Pokemon, and so swift to attack. But it wouldn't attack just yet. It wanted to see the Meowth's power first. The best way to do that, in the squirrel's opinion, was to experience the attack in a way which would mean Meowth would come to damage, or at least had some upside...
So Pachirisu watched as Meowth advanced, pretending to tremble with fear as it came closer, all the while planning the cunning trick. As the cat Pokemon got closer and closer, Pachirisu began judging how long it would take the shiny to reach it. When it felt it was close enough, the squirrel covered it's face with it's paws; Bide. The Scratch Mina then used would turn against her in a few more turns.

Mina laughed as the scratch hit the Pachirisu and all it did was cover itself with its tiny paws. She jumped backed on all fours, pleased with herself and smiling slyly. Her purple shiny tail swayed slowly as she stood their baring her teeth with a silent grin. She put all her weight on her back paws, ready to pounce forward,
"Mina wait!"
Mina stopped herself and with a wince looked back at Rima with surprise and confusion.
"Meow? Meowth?"
Ven sighing, knowing this was his que looked up to Rima and said slowly,
"Rima? What's wrong?"
Rima nodded in reply and cupped her hands over her mouth and shouting to Mina called out,
"It's using Bide, if we keep attacking then it won't be pretty afterwards!"
Mina's eyes widened in shock and eyed the Pachirisu in front of her, her eyes narrowed. A tingling vibration ran through her throat and echoed into her mouth which let out a gigantic growl.
"You're dead squirrel. You can't even summise your own power; having to use mine against me. I'll get you."
Mina's growl echoed throughout the surrouding area as it attempted to lower her opponent's attack.

Pachirisu seemed a little annoyed at the trainer seeing through it's plan. She was smarter than it had thought. Unfortunately, the attack would still last at least another turn if it was lucky and so for now it would just have to keep at it. Mina's remark sent waves of anger down it's body. ~I can use my own power, I just thought you were as dumb as you looked, fat-face.~ the Pachirisu snarled. Clearly the squirrel didn't have much of a liking for cat. Nevertheless, the growl took it's toll on the Pokemon; although it didn't show it, the Pachirisu's attack was lowered.

Mina tensed her cat-like body and her fur standed on end as the Pachirisu made its remark, she was definately going to beat this silly squirrel and there was no way that anyone else could say otehrwise. She was going to defeat it and then leave it there without anything else. There was no way she was going to stay with this electric type any longer, she was going to teach it some respect. She hesitated as she drew her lcaw back, knowing her power was going to come right back at her. Her calw disappeared back into her silky fur and she replaced her paw back on the ground. Rio and Ven watched in amazement as the usual calm and collective, though bossy and selfish most of the time, Mina raised her hackles. Mina did not reply to the squirrel but instead let out yet another ferocious growl at it.

Pachirisu gritted it's pointed teeth as it tried to shut out the attack-weakening Growl, but to no avail. The squirrel's tail swished wildly, then fell gradually still. Pachirisu could feel a furious anger building up inside, but it shouldn't unleash it yet. First, it should deal with the uncontrollable energy recieved upon damage from the Scratch attack. Although little, the attack was enough. Pachirisu uttered a furious snarl, such that one would not believe somthing like that could have emitted it, and leapt to Mina, slashing paws mimicing the Scratch. This attack was one that could not miss.

Mina bared her sharp fangs and growled agrily as the squirrel ran toward her with its paws ravaging in front of it. The tiny furry paws scrapped aginst the side of her face like a ferocious beast's and the cat was sent tumbling backwards as dust shot into the air as the Meowth rolled across the floor. The dust cleared and Mina's body laid across the floor motionless and eyes closed. Ven and Kei gasped and stood with worry, staring intently at their cat friend.
"Mina! Mina, are you alright? Answer me Mina!" Ven cried out to her in surprise and deep worry.
The shiny Meowth's body trembled and slowly she shakily raised herself onto all of her four paws. Dirt was smeered across her face and there were several scrapes across her feline shaped body. She grinned smugly and said with confidence,
"I'm...I'm not...out yet squirrel."
Rima, Ven and Kei all sighed with happiness and smiled at the stubborn feline - glad that she was safe. Rima looked down at her shiny Meowth at her feet with relief and then looked up, her long blonde hair swaying past her face as she did so, to stare at the Pachirisu. Mina angrily glared at the Pachirisu and pushed herself off, running at her opponent. As she drew closer to the electric type a sharp white claw showed itself from her silky (yet slightly ruffled now) fur and Mina's eyes narrowed at it as she prepared a vengeful scratch attack.

Pachirisu resisted the strong urge to cry out in pain as the claws racked down it's back. That... hurt. But not as much as Mina would hurt in return! The Pachirisu was sprawled out on the grass. The two Pokémon's attacks were more brutal, furious, and strong than normal attacks, for the Pokémon's attacks were fuelled on hate. Pachirisu's next hated-filled attack was about to come.
Scrambling to it's feet, the squirrel glared at Mina. Then it seemed to disappear. Wait- no. A white and blue burr was circling the battle field; this was a Quick Attack, and with each 360 degree spin Pachirisu made aroung Mina, the closer the rodent got to laying down it's attack.

Mina's narrow eyes locked onto the Pachirisu that was circling around her ferociously. As it passed in front of her time and time agian, getting faster and faster she stood still - waiting for a command. Rima admired the swift squirrel but did not say anything as she didn't want to upset Mina, instead she thought of an idea.
"Mina, stay there!"
Mina was confused; if she stayed still the attack was sure to hit her. But she listened to Rima and stood ehr ground. The Pachirisu got closer and closer and then !BAM! It collided with Mina but it's attack ahd been lowered form earlier so it didn't hurt as much of it could have. But it still hurt.
Rima clapped her hands together happily and pointed her finger out toward the electric type that was standing quite close to Mina.
"Now Mina! A scratch attack!"
Mina glared slyly at the Pachirisu directly in front of her and a sneaky grin spread across her feline face. She chucked softly and quickly,
"Gladly."
She said as she elegantly lifted up her right front paw and a sharp white claw emrged from it with tremendous speed. Mina jumped forward slightly, her claw drawn adn growled as she went toward the Pachirisu beneath her with another scratch attack.

Pachirisu gave a cry of pain as the claws scraped against it's fur and skin, leaving a trail of bare skin, ramming it into the ground from above. A good, clever move, but not from the squirrel's point of view. Pachirisu wanted to get up, but it was difficult, as though it's paws had turned to lead. Pichu, still watching on the sidelines, held it's breath. ~Come on, Pachirisu! You can do it! You're OK!~[/color] it cheered in a way to boost the squirrel's confidence, a fearful edge to it's voice, as though Pichu was scared that Pachirisu wasn't going to make it.
Pachirisu finally summed up enough energy to get to it's feet. ~Don't worry, Pichu. I'll be fine. It's the stupid alleycat who's going down!~[/color] it yelled through gritted teeth. It couldn't belive Mina had atually caused it to cry out. Now it was angry. This time, the Quick Attack shot straight through the grass in the direction of the shiny Meowth.[/size]

Mina's ears silently twitched as the disgustingly, rebellious, common words of 'alleycat' reached them. For a few moments she did nothing, and just stared into space. Mina!? Mina an alleycat!? This Pachirisu had to be joking! Mina was a pure bred, shiny Meowth who lived in luxury (more or less). She was definately goin to bring the little squirrel down. She raised her hackles and her fur pointed upwards as she hissed - seeming to make her look more like an alleycat than a pedigree. But before she could make any form of attack the electric type counter attacked with a quick attack which shot straight into her side and scraped her, once silky, fur - leaving a red graze along her left side.
Rima stared at her shuny Meowth, now tattered and ruffled. She was going to give Mina a good, long, hot wash after this, and Mina loves baths and being pampered so it would be the best solution to bring her out of - what seemed like to the human - a fit of rage. And of course she was correct. Ven couldn't help but fall over a laugh, his blue legs and tail flapping in the air as he rolled on his back in laughter at the proud and luxiourous feline who was now completely ruffled and looked like a wild Meowth. Kei stared down in confusion at the Vaporeon Daemon rolling aorund on the floor beside him. Kei didn't see anything funny so why was Ven laughing? Perhaps he was having a mental break down? After all, Kei hadn't known him very long; maybe these things happened all the time.
All throughout the battle the Pachirisu and Shiny Meowth had been yelling insults at one another and Rima wanted to know what had been said; after all, something made Mina riled up. She looked down at Ven for help, but saw him rolling around on the floor like a lunatic. Obviously her daemon wouldn't be very helpful at this point. She looked at Kei who seriously and politey began to explain the situation. But all Rima heard out of Kei was,
"Ri. Ri. Rio. Ri. Riolu."
Rima awkwardly giggled at her Riolu and decided to conecntrate on the battle where Mina was eyeing teh electric type.
"Mina, zig zag toward the Pachirisu and use another scratch!"
Mina listened to Rina carefully and then pushed off, jumping from left to right, left to right - making a zig zag pattern as she drew closer to the squirrel with another claw ready to scratch.

Pachirisu stuck it's tongue out at Mina. Oh, how rude! Then the tongue vibrated, flecks of spittle spraying from it. Pachirisu, a Pokémon engaged in battle with an angered Meowth with a swollen ego, was blowing raspberries like a toddler. The squirrel watched the claw glint in the light of the day. Pft. She called that a claw? Stupid cats. They cared more about their appearance than they did anything else. The imbociles. However, rodent Pokémon... tough, hardy, and strong despite their size and what everybody else throught.
Pachirisu moved in slow motion, mocking Mina as it slowly dodged. This made her even more angry, and the squirrel didn't even see her move until she was upon him, viscious claws streaking down it's body. It mustn't... show... weakness...
~You call... that a Scratch? That... was nothing. Let me... show you... how it's done,~[/color] Pachirisu gasped and panted through gritted teeth. It tapped the cat on the nose, then took a step back and forced it's muscles to work through the aching pain, shooting like a bullet through the battle scene. Quick Attack.[/size]

Mina wiggled her nose and whiskers from side to side as the squirrel tapped it gently with a tiny paw. She revelled in the success of her scratch attack once more but had little time to appreciate it when the Pachirisu used a Quick Attack adn collided into her side. She was knocked back slightly and hissed as she skidded across the floor. Mina stopped herself from properly falling over and her feline structure gently moed up and down as she panted for breath. Mina was running out of breath, that much was obvious and her energy was gradually dropping. Rima called out to her,
"Mina! Don't worry, keep going. Use another scratch!"
Mina nodded and took a deep breath, shooting toward the electric type once more with anpther scratch. As she was losing more nergy she was losing her passion to argue too.
