Laru watched as Loki attempted to get his footing- or winging- in the Gust. He could see the bird being battered from it, that was the whole point of the attack. Maybe it was lucky, maybe it was skill, probably it was a mixture of the two, but Loki managed to find the winds that would shoot him in the right direction. If any other Pokémon had tried it, they would have had no control, but Loki was a Flying type and his wings meant he could secure his aim. He moved to quickly for Laru to dodge, and the Flarepup was hit by the Peck. The Fire type struggled, but didn't manage to recover.
The crowd were quite stunned that Lith had managed to make a sudden comeback from that, and a few clapped for her while the others looked for other battles or continued what they were doing earlier. It was mostly the Pokémon that gave the applause. Mandy returned Laru, smiling as she crossed the battlefield to shake Lith's hand as a show of good sportsmanship. She handed over some money, as was usual for a trainer battle. "Thanks, that was a good battle. Really exciting. Hopefully Loki will behave better now!" she grinned, before noticing that the line was now very short. "Oh! Look how short the line's got! Er, well, bye, Lith! I hope the rest of your trainer career goes well!" she said as she hurried off, getting her Pokémon healed before leaving the Pokémon Centre.
Loki gains two levels! Lith earned $800 prize money!

Loki's own breath was knocked out of him as his body made contact with Laru's. He fell backwards with an oof and felt himself slipping out of consciousness. The edges of his vision were fading into blackness, threatening to overwhelm him. He was tired and his body ached with the battering it had experienced during the battle; maybe he deserved a rest. No, he thought, he wasn't about to give up now. With a great amount of effort, the pile of bruised black feathers swung itself into the air just in time to see the Flarepup fall. To the Murkrow's surprise, Laru did not get back up as he did. The battle had been won. The edges of his crooked beak again rose in a smirk, a victorious gleam in his dark eyes. He fluffed out his feathers in pride before fluttering back to his trainer; he knew that he wouldn't have won this battle without her, after all.
Lith shot a fist into the air and let out her usual 'woohoo' of victory when Mandy's Flarepup was defeated. She extended a shoulder as Loki flew towards her and shouted, "That was awesome, Loki! You pulled the battle off great." Loki cawed and comfortably settled onto her shoulder. Yeah, he thought, he would definitely listen to this trainer more often. A gleam full of pride and pure joy shimmered across Lithalia's eyes. She was happy they won the battle, of course, but even more happy that Loki had trusted her enough to pull off that last move. Honestly, she wasn't quite sure it was going to work, but she was super glad that it did.
Blaedyn gave a few claps in congratulations to Loki for winning the battle. Then Alexucard got up. He cleared his throat before reluctantly barking a short congratulations of his own. "You did better than I thought you would, you obnoxious bird brain. Good job."
Loki replied with a huff and a dignant nod in the daemon's direction. He was too cheery about having won the battle to have this moment tainted by Alex's tongue. While Lith was nodding and waving her thanks with a slight blush to the few trainers that applauded her victory, Mandy ran up to the blue haired trainer. "Oh, yes, thank you, too! That battle was really fun. We should do it again sometime," she responded to Mandy's statement, giving a genuinely sweet smile. When the other trainer handed her money, however, her glowing expression turned slightly confused. She had no idea trainers got paid for battles! She felt bad for taking the money, though, and was about to open her mouth to protest, only to see that Mandy had already hurried back into the PokeCenter. With a sigh, she smiled and tucked the money safely into her wallet and put it back into her backpack. It was no use to just leave all that money there, now was it? Lith scooped up Blaedyn in her arms and headed back into the Pokemon Center - her Pokemon still needed healing! She waited in the short line, wondering about what she would do after her Pokemon had been fully healed.

There was only a handful of people (lol who invented that expression) in front of Lith, and so it was moving quickly. Most of the people were just simple cases in which Nurse Joy would slot their Pokéballs into a machince, but one held things up a bit because one of their Pokémon didn't like their Pokéball and was more seriously injured. Still, it wasn't long before the chain of people walked out the Pokémon Center in turn, leaving Lith facing Nurse Joy at the counter. A few people had by now gathered behind her, hoping she'd be quick like the others so it could be their turn.
Nurse Joy was smiling her usual, slightly creepy but still somehow genuine, smile. This one's daemon was a Happiny, who looked quite happy as well. Hey, there was nothing wrong with enjoying the job, even if it set you in this state of mind, was there? The nurse spoke, speaking the usual speech. She only tended to say anything else if the trainer said something to her, but she was always happy- no surprise there- to give advice. "Hello, and welcome to the Pokémon Center. We can heal your Pokémon to full health. Would you like me to heal your Pokémon?" she asked, waiting for Lith to hand her Pokéballs over so she could heal them.

It took a moment for Lith to realize she was at the front of the line and that it was her turn; she had been too busy daydreaming about what her first Gym battle would be like. She knew she had to get her team a bit higher in level, but still, she couldn't wait. There hadn't been a gym in her hometown, but she had seen videos of battles on tv from time to time. The flashing lights, the roaring crowds, the amazing skill of both trainers as they shouted out attacks, back and forth...She wanted to see what it felt like so bad. But right now, the first step to battling in the Silav Town Gym was taking a step forward and getting her Pokemon healed; an annoyed nudge from her daemon had told her this. With a slight blush, she walked up to the counter and looked up at the polite Nurse Joy, processing her earlier words.
"Hi there, Miss Nurse Joy," she started, as she unclasped Loki and Blaedyn's pokeballs from her thin black belt. "Sorry, guys, you gotta stay in your Pokeballs for a minute," she whispered to them. The red light absorbed Loki without much trouble, but Blaedyn gave a disconted ruff before he was sucked into his cramped little sphere. Then, turning back to Nurse Joy, she smiled. "Yes, it would be awesome if you could heal my team." Lith gathered the other three pokeballs off her belt - making that a total of five Pokemon so far - and handed them all to the Nurse. In the meantine, Alexucard was looking up at Nurse Joy's Happiny daemon who sat on the counter, giving him a friendly smile and a quiet bark in hello.
ooc// Sorry for the super!boring Pokemon Center scenario I came up with xD;

Nurse Joy raised her hand to try and stop Lith, but it was too late. "You didn't have to return the Pokémon that hate Pokéballs to their Pokéballs. Anyway, I'll get right on healing them." she said. Maybe Lith would bear it in mind in future or something. Lots of trainers though their Pokémon needed to go inside, but of course they had the technology for them not too, but it was definately quicker if they remained inside. The nurse took the Pokéballs Lith had handed her, slotting them into place on the machine.
The healing machine bleeped and flashed, indicating that the Pokémon inside would be feeling a wonderful recovering sensation. Nurse Joy then took the Pokéballs out the slots and placed them on the counter, ready for Lith to take them again. She spoke again to the script. "We have healed your Pokémon to full health. We hope to see you again!" she had been trying to get that last sentence changed to 'have a good day', but she'd had no luck so far. As she turned to the next customer, it was Lith's turn to move on. If she went outside, she'd have no trouble in finding a PokéMart or the gym.

A surprised look crossed Lith's face when Nurse Joy tried to stop her from putting her Pokemon back into their pokeballs. "Oh, well, I just didn't wanna hold up the line, heheh," she spoke up somewhat nervously, a slight blush pinking her face. "I'll remember that for next time, though," she gave a wide grin as the kind nurse took her pokeballs. She watched curiously while Nurse Joy loaded her party onto the large machine. The sounds it made as it healed her Pokemon seemed somewhat soothing, with an odd charm about them. Lith had seen and heard these PokeCenter machines in her old town, but not up so close.
She waited for barely twenty seconds before Nurse Joy took the pokeballs out of their slots and handed all five back to her. Wow, these machines were fast. Good thing, too, she thought to herself while looking back at the decently long line behind her; a lot of impatient trainers wanted their Pokemon healed and ready for battle as fast as possible. She stepped to the side so the next in line could have their turn and released Blaedyn from his pokeball. With a large grin and a rejuvinated stretch, the young Riolu let out a pleased sigh. After Lith released a short giggle, Blaedyn jumped up into her arms as she headed out the PokeCenter, Alexucard at her heels.
Snow was starting to melt already; spring was coming fast, and Lith was glad for that. With a smile, she glanced back and forth from Blaedyn, still in her arms, to her daemon. "I think maybe we should head out to the open space on the side of town and train a bit before we take on the Gym. What do you guys say?"
~Yeah, definitely!~ Blaedyn was first to speak. He'd just been healed, so his rejuvinated muscles were aching for some battle action.
Alex barked up in agreement. "Sounds like a pretty good idea to me," he smiled. "And once we come back, we'll be ready for the gym no doubt."
"Training it is, then!" Lith enthusiastically shouted. With that, trainer, daemon, and Pokemon headed out toward the wide space of rolling hills and scattered trees used by many as a training area.
ooc// I think I'll just have this be the point where Lith enters that training post with Klomonx's character Alexander and then come back to this to challenge the gym once her team levels up, if that's okay with you >3
