Danny smiled as he neared the lab, his Glaceon daemon in his arms. "We're almost there Lilola, I can't wait to get a Pokemon!" he muttered, burying his face in her pointy fur. He loved having someone who always understood what he was saying and how he felt. She was even better than David. And that was hard to beat. No one was better than David.

"Calm down Danny, your just getting a Pokemon." Lilola said, looking up at Danny's face. He had a slightly wild looking smile on his face. Sometimes he really did act strange. Strange enough that she didn't even feel like she knew him.

Danny rolled his eyes and knocked at the door, ignoring his daemon.

The knocks pounded against the metal door, sounding louder than they should have. This, of course, only meant the door was opened more quickly. The door opened creakily to reveal Professor Pine, with his daemon Telepa on his shoulder. Behind him were a bunch of Magnemite floating around, and a Rhyhorn was sitting and watching the little magnetic balls floating around. Every once in a while, one would let out a spark, which immediately streaked towards the Rhyhorn due to its Lightningrod ability. It would just shake its head as if irritated by a fly, since after all it was a ground-type and completely unaffected by the electric-type attack.

The professor waved the new arrival in, going to his desk and grabbing the Pokeballs sitting there, returning the stray Pokemon to their Pokeballs. He returned them to the drawer where they belonged, made as if to close it, then decided it would be easier to leave it open.

"Hello, I am Professor Pine. I suppose you're here for your first Pokemon, anything in particular you have in mind?" asked the professor.
