&Overall;;
»Noah is a small boy for his age, being both short and slim he doesn't look overweight or like a midget, just of a shorter stature. It is very easy for other kids his age to pick him up and carry him around thanks to his size, not that other kids associate themselves with him all that often. he is however thankful for his small size because it allows him to hide in all sorts of small places that adults can't fit into and go unnoticed a lot of the time.
»Noah has a sweet face. It is rounded still like that of the child he is yet it holds a strange look of knowledge beyond his years and much pain. He rarely genuinely smiles and his bright green eyes seem depressed. His face is often dirty, yet his skin is pale enough that he never really looks dark. The darkest he gets is bright red when he gets sun burned. He has never really been able to tan.
»If you see Noah he will most likely be dressed in comfortable or baggy casual clothes with muted colors and paint splotches on it. Despite his love of colors and art, Noah likes wearing such plain clothes so that he'll bled into a crowd better as he hates too much attention. He also hates being uncomfortable so he wears only that which feels nice. This also means that he tends not to wear shoes, though when he does he wears only sturdy tennis shoes.
»Like many children, Noah has a few items you'll never see him without, though his isn't a blanket or stuffed animal. Noah's instead is a favorite book of his, his sketchbook, and a favorite old tan colored backpack that looks as if it were made from a potato sack, but was really only designed to look that way. While he always has these on his person, unless he is using the first two they can usually be found inside the latter. Somehow his backpack seems to match the rest of his muted clothes nicely so he never really sticks out because of it.

&Overall;;
»Noah is probably one of the sweetest little boys you will ever meet. It is very likely that part of that has to do with the fact that he is a homosexual who would hold the "wife" part of any relationship he has. He is strange in that he likes to think of other first and is good at relating to another's emotions. He has a good sense of what he needs to do to make someone feel happy, and he is always wanting people to be happy as he feels, after suffering so much himself, that no one deserves to be unhappy. And his no one means no one. He even wishes for his abusive father to never have to suffer. It is one of the bigger differences between him and his dæmon.
»Noah's relationship with his dæmon is actually not as strong as that of a normal human-dæmon pair. Their bond was badly damaged by the abuse of his father and since then their personalities have drifted ever further apart. Both of them however still love each other and long for their bond to be as it once was, but it is easier wished then done, seeing as it is much harder to connect to someone so different from you. Noah's way of trying to keep his close connection with his dæmon is to stick very close to him, even though thanks to the abuse they can drift farther apart from each other then they normally should have been able to, they still stick next to each other.
»Being with or without his dæmon though doesn't effect Noah's shyness. No matter how near his dæmon is he is always shy of other humans. When he was a child he had been very outgoing and loved to play with others his own age, but he has gown to fear people who are even close to him for the fact that his father betrayed him and who could be closer to a son then his father? In exception of his dæmon of course. So because of this Noah will rarely say the first words to someone he doesn't know unless he is trying to help them in some way.
»Noah is protective of all life, though he is constantly picking flowers, and would try almost anything to protect it. If he didn't want to raise pokemon of his own and become a battle pokemon oriented breeder, he very well might have tried to become a ranger. However the thought also kind of scares him because he has trouble making strong relationships in the first place and to become loved by a pokemon, just to see it go home and never see it again would probably hurt Noah quite a bit.
»Most people would meet Noah and wonder if he even knew where eggs came from. No one would guess that he is already becoming a breeder. This is because he seems, and for the most part is, a very innocent child. In exception for his father's abuse Noah has actually had very little exposure to the evils of this world. Some might think that is a good thing, but it really isn't because thanks to him not knowing what all the evils are, he is constantly thinking up new ones and becomes jumpy and fearful of whatever his new paranoia is about.
»Another repercussion of his father's abuse, and probably the only one his father had been wanting to give him in the first place, is a shame that Noah feels in himself for being gay. His father drilled the thoughts that it is evil and disgusting to like other boys into him, and therefore he has issues with his own feelings, feeling disgusted in himself anytime he likes someone. This disgust in what he is is one of the things that has done the most damage to his bond to Donner because it is Donner's own gender that is the sign of Noah's sexuality he was born with and by rejecting that he is in a way rejecting Donner, though neither of them realize this.
»Noah does have a few redeeming aspects to him though, starting with the fact that, despite everything else, he is still as curious as any other child. He loves learning about new things in any way and love to explore the world to find things out for himself. In his opinion, the only reason curiosity killed the meowth was because it was unable to satisfy its need to learn and died of it.
»Noah also has a talent of his own to boast, not that he really ever boasts about anything, but you know the figure of speech. His talent is that he is very artistically gifted. Not just in the drawing sense of the word, but with words, tunes, and feelings as well. He has his own way of weaving words together into a poem beneath a picture he drew and making it extract a certain emotion in someone. Because of this he draws mostly beautiful or happy scenes and writes poems and songs of good times and love. However his true talent is in the sad and angry songs and poems, as he has more experience in those areas then in the ones that he prefers to write of for the sake of other's feelings.
» In his arts it is easy to tell that Noah is a very creative person. If you gave him a piece of string and a bead, he wouldn't see a necklace to be made, but rather a pendulum or a writing inspiration of the simplicity of mammal reproduction system. This isn't to say that he has a perverted mind, rather when he sees something that reminds him of sex, he sees it simply as that. Not dirty, just a fact that it has similarities. In that respect he is truly innocent and not just naive.
»In exception for his painting shirts, Noah likes to keep everything he has orderly and clean. He has a bit of a clean freak side and loves cleaning rooms and dishes. He got practice on the dishes seeing as he is a horrible cook with anything that can't be put on a stick and roasted over a camp fire. He loves camping for some reason even though he is such a neat freak. Why? Even he isn't sure.
»Last but definitely not least is that Noah will be stubborn when put in the situation for it. If he somehow gets into an argument with someone, however rare that might be, he hates not having the last word and will keep pushing until he gets it or is knocked unconscious by the other party, which is what happened with his father the few fights they had, at least the ones Noah participated in. He is also stubborn in his beliefs and others are hard put to change his mind after he has set it onto something.

&The Full Story;;
»Noah was born into a family that believes strongly against gays, at least on the surface, and that is where in his troubled life began on a rainy May 16th morning. His mother, who had been in labor for nearly a full day, finally gave birth to him that morning with the support of her husband and their two dæmons. When Noah was placed into her arms she felt nothing but a thrill at first meeting her new baby boy and his dæmon who appeared near by in the form of a small eevee staring at his human curiously.
»It was a happy scene until Noah's mother's dæmon went to name the baby dæmon and found upon actual inspection that Noah's dæmon was not a girl as it should have been, but rather a boy. Upon the surprised, and from Noah's father, disgusted faces the little dæmon glared over at the others, for which he got his name. Noah was named the christian name in hopes that God would fix the mistake of making him infertile. Of course, that was only what they thought it was at the time.
»In the years to come Noah grew up like a normal boy, albeit a bit smaller then the rest of the kids his age and a bit more creative then the rest. However when his father watched him closely he noticed that Noah was playing with the boys more then the girls. It seemed normal until the day when he was five and he gave his best friend a daisy while blushing, admitting that he liked the other boy. His friend was disgusted, but not nearly as much so as Noah's father.
»Starting that night after his father had told his mother to take his six year old brother out for ice cream so that he could talk with Noah, Noah's father proceeded to do some of the worst things a father could do to his own son. It started with him grabbing Donner roughly and shaking him until Noah would cry that he'd never like another boy ever again. For a while that was enough to satisfy his father, but the power his father felt from that exercise became addictive to him, and he couldn't help but do more and worse things as the weeks went on.
»Soon enough the rough grabbing evolved into pinning Donner down and intimately touching him in strange places while Noah tried to fight his father off of his dæmon. Then eventually his father moved onto him after becoming frustrated at his son pounding his back for the freedom of Donner. He would beat Noah badly, calling him awful words that implied that having been born gay made him evil and disgusting. he did these things for so long in fact that Noah began to hate himself for it and became ashamed himself of the way he was.
»Yet the worst was still to come. When Noah was about half way through his sixth year of life, his father's abuse grew to a whole new level in which he began to give his son "demonstrations" of how evil his preferences were, by sexually abusing him anytime no one was home, or occasionally even when Josh was home. Sometimes Josh would join in as he found it sadistically amusing.
»Then one night, the sexual abuse went even farther and his father raped him, crushing his feelings and damaging his bond with Donner even more then when Donner had been the one being sexually abused. Donner's personality became even fiercer and more defensive to try and protect Noah, while Noah shut himself away inside of himself trying to protect himself.
»Despite the noticeable changes in both of them, Noah's father became addicted only even more to this "ultimate source of control" and rape became a monthly thing, then weekly. Noah was too scared to tell anyone and he didn't stick around anyone long enough for Donner to tell them. His grades in school dropped and his friends stopped talking to him. His mother didn't know what was happening, and his brother only tormented him and reminded him of what their father did to him.
» When Noah was seven, his father went away on a business trip for two years, giving Noah a long break from the abuse, or so he had thought. Instead Josh took up where their father had left off. Luckily Josh didn't stoop as low as their father, but rather sent his dæmon after Donner many times, forcing them to fight each other and scaring Donner away from female dæmons, Even if Donner had been straight, that experience would have turned him off females for forever anyways.
»Yet this wasn't so much abuse as bullying and Noah and Donner could live with this easily after his father's antics. Noah's grades sky rocketed and he made even more friends then ever while his father was away. He began to loose the shame his father had drilled into him and even dared to have a crush on another boy again. He made a lot of growth and his mother was proud of him. It was the highlight of his life and he didn't think it could ever be ruined. Even by his father's return. He was wrong.
»A little while after he turned nine his father returned. With his good grades and many female friends he was sure his father wouldn't abuse him anymore, but instead his father picked right up where he had left off, starting with a long weekend full of every sort of abuse he had ever dealt to Noah and Donner. This time though his mother finally found out what was happening. It was only thanks to her that Noah even survived some of the things his father did that weekend.
»After that Noah tried to tell others, but anytime he did, his throat shut up and he couldn't talk. For once Donner had the same problem as well, for now he was being re-abused too. Not being able to tell anyone they tried to run away, but his father caught them and punished them both severely. This was repeated several times before they gave up nearly all hope.
» About a month ago though, Noah's mother finally took steps to actually help him out of the situation, rather then just protect him. One night she told him to run away. At first he refused, but then she told him that she was taking her father and brother out for a movie and dinner and that it would be his chance to escape. Giving it one last shot Noah agreed to his mother's proposal and upon their leave he left too in the opposite direction.
»His mother had asked him to seek out the pokemon lab, hitching rides from anyone he could and get a pokemon to protect himself and Donner with. So that is what Noah did, and has been doing for the past month. Now he has reached the lab and is ready to get his starter.
Dæmon
&Name;; Donner (German for Thunder; fierce temper)
&Nickname;; Don
&Gender;; Male
&Appearance;;&Settled;; Not
&Favored Forms;; Teddiursa, Magby, Abra, Ralts, Smeargle, Kecleon, and Aron.
&Fur/Scales/Skin;; Darker Then Normal Pokemon
&Eyes;; Startling Blue
&Overall;;
»No matter what pokemon form Donner is in, he is always much darker and less colorful then the species is normally. As well as the color his eyes always remain a startling ice blue as well which often highly contrast the forms he is in. Though his forms tend to be those of a quiet or shy pokemon, he doesn't really like it. He appears the way his human acts, but he himself is strangely completely different and therefor loves shifting into different forms, even though he still feels the most comfortable in his favored forms.
»Donner's current form depends on a combination of his mood and Noah's mood as he usually likes to try and still feel their older stronger connection by matching himself to his human. Sometimes though he'll just randomly appear as another pokemon completely if he is angry with Noah or someone else, or simply wants a little change.
&Personality;;&General;; Brave, Hasty, Protective, Stubborn, Short Tempered, Caring, Helpful, and Playful.
&Likes;; Candy, The Color Blue, Games, Small Pokemon, Male Dæmons, Music, Shifting Forms Often, and, of course, Noah.
&;Dislikes;; Noah's Father (with a burning rage), Libraries, Water, Books, Humans, and Noah Being Hurt or Upset.
&Strengths;; Brave, Protective, Caring, Helpful, and Smart.
&Weaknesses;; Hasty, Stubborn, Short Tempered, and Bad Mouths Others Often.
&Fears;; Being Separated From Noah, Being Touched by anyone but Noah, and Josh's dæmon.
&Hopes and Dreams;; Donner hopes to be able to help Noah recover from the ordeals they went through as children and to one day find a dæmon and human pair that he and Noah could love.
&Quirks;; Donner is strangely different from his human, yet is amazingly proud of it.
&Overall;;
»Donner is about as different from Noah as night is from day. This can often times cause Donner to feel as if he doesn't really know his human at all. Yet at the same time Donner cares ever so deeply about Noah and would do anything to protect him. He hates that he was unable to protect him before and hates even more that now he isn't going to be the one directly defending his human.
»Donner may love Noah, but that is pretty much as far as his love for humans goes. He doesn't trust any other humans and would just as soon steal Noah away to go live in a pokemon only world then stay near another human being. However there is one exception to this. The one human besides Noah that Donner wants to get close to is Noah's father. He wants to get close enough so that he can rip out the man's throat and torture him as he used to torture Noah and Donner himself. This is the area he feels the most conflict with Noah in, for Noah just wants to forgive his father and forget.
»Donner is very protective of Noah, yet at the same time he also tries to be caring and helpful to him. He knows he often causes Noah a lot of problems with his big mouth and short temper, so he is always kinda trying to make it up to him, yet he has an even harder time then Noah does apologizing. He knows one way to make Noah feel better though is to just be there for him, so Donner is almost always by Noah's side. Caring for him and supporting him.
»Now let's get a little deeper into the issue of Donner's short temper. He has always had a rather nasty temper, but it used to take a while to wear him down to it. These days he'll snap over just about anything. The reason behind this is probably the fact that since Noah became meeker, Donner felt he needed to become stronger, and he related being strong to being able to chew others out and yell at them, intimidating them rather then actually fighting them. It is another thing that happened to him as he and Noah drifted farther apart.
»Donner is a very brave little dæmon. He fears very little and doesn't care what happens to him as long as it doesn't harm Noah, which of course is hard to do since anything that hurts him hurts Noah too. However there is a problem behind this bravery, and it is that it is driven by Donner's hasty nature. He'll jump into things without really thinking and then when he sees his mistake in hindsight, he still does things in a hasty fashion anyways. it is a part of his personality that he would change if he could, but it is really a part of who he is, so deep down he doesn't want to loose it.
»Donner is strangely proud of his differences from Noah, though he dislikes the fact that it forces their bond to weaken, because it makes him feel like his own person, strong and in control. Yet at the same time, the few things they still have in common seem to be some of the worst ones. The main similarity between them being their stubbornness. If these two were to ever get into a real fight no one would ever hear the end of it as both are unwilling to step down and take defeat, however Donner has a soft spot for Noah that no one else can reach, so as long as it is Noah, he'll try to avoid opinionated arguments.
»Despite Donner's hate of humans, he does have one strong wish to meet a certain one. That one, in his mind, is another boy, somewhere around the same age as Noah, who also has a male dæmon and is gay as well. This isn't because he wants to see what their bond should have been like, but rather, he truly wants Noah to be able to love another and accept that he isn't the dirty thing his father has convinced him he is. Donner also has a love of the same gender, thus he hopes he'd be able to love the dæmon, be it a male, of whoever would love Noah.
