OOC: ... That is the question. Double battles allowed? I wanna RP one. XD
XUAN
Xuan's first impression of the training dojo was that it was big. The building had been looming over here, even through the forests; the tower-styled building seemed to glare out from above the crowns of the pines. Now, at its foot, Xuan found herself feeling slightly inadequate in size. The number of floors seemed countless at this angle. Shaking her head, the Weavile 'morph pushed her way through the double doors and into the wooden interior of the dojo.
The inside was clean and well-maintained, though the tang of sweat in the air and the creaking of the wooden poles battered her senses, making her furrow her brow in distaste. Still, the leaflet she'd seen had proclaimed this to be the best training centre in the vicinity, and, judging by the number of trainees – human and Pokémon alike – weaving their way through all the equipment, it was popular enough.
Xuan was particularly interested in the "battle court" service the leaflet had advertised. Apparently, on Floor 8, Trainers could be pitted against each other, to sharpen their battle-wits and hone their reflexes. She did not think of herself as a Trainer per se, but the thought of bettering her Pokémon once again appealed. Gripping the Pokéballs containing her lone two Pokémon easily in one hand, she found her way to the stairs and began a leisurely climb.
That climb ended with her standing at Floor 8, face flushed, panting slightly, watching two pairs of Trainers battle each other. One of the pairs were engaged in a Double Battle that seemed to excite both parties into expletives as it progressed; the other pair was less verbal, choosing to battle in near-silence punctuated by hissed commands. Amused, she recovered herself from the climb and found her way to the lone empty court, setting down her items. Jun, who had previously been asleep in Ekans form around her torso, woke and blinked a sleepy eye at her, and went back to sleep. Sighing, Xuan glanced around for someone she could battle with.
