FF13, you say? I will look into it!
I've heard of the Tales series, too, but likewise I haven't tried it yet. O:

yeah, ff13 you can't really run around and level or do freeform till late in the game when the main plotline is finished. you basically have a straight path... and dear got the bosses are terrible you gotta be careful... and the summons you gotta try to impress to grab

When you're talking about the summons, you mean the Eidolon, right? XP *is iffy on the FF13 terms* Yeah, I've heard that about the game, that it's far too straightforward with not enough emphasis on sidequests, and that's one of the reasons I don't want to hurry out and buy a PS3 just for it. I like my character developmental sidequests. ^_^
Haha, Krows, I am an uber-fan of the Tales of series. XD I could wax for hours on it and all its games...*shifty eyes* All I can say is that most of the games kind of start out a bit slow, but it's very easy to fall in love with the characters.

yeah eidolon, summons, same thing XD. and yeah its pretty linear and no side quests till pretty much the end of the major plotline in chapter 11 of 13 I think it was? but then there are LOTS of side quests you can do and lots of places to grind for levels and mine cp. cp is for you to learn skills kinda like ff 12 those skill equipment things.
