No moon was present tonight, so as the top of the circle that was the sun disappeared below a hill, the world was in darkness, darker than an ordinary night. It was cold, too, a light yet icy wind whispering in the leaves of the trees across Enera. This same wind whipped the forms of a group of tough, hardened humans as they made their way to some unknown point. They looked up towards the sky as the stars dimly lit the ground. This wasn't too bright, which was most likely why they had taken torches with then, the electrical devices sending beams of light onto the patchy grass they were walking across.
Finally, one stopped; she seemed to be the leader. The wind was blowing her short, reddish brown hair over her eyes, which she sorted out with an angry flick, moving it back behind her ears. Her eyes where a piercing green colour, shocking against her slightly tanned skin and delicate features. She was reasonably pretty, but had a harsh look about her as she stood with great authority, not too much shorter than the large men in the group. She wore a tight, long-sleeved T-shirt with a jacket and long trousers. All of these were black, and the shirt bore a large dark red 'T' on the front, the jacket having the same design on the back. Her shoes were sensible; grey-brown trainers to keep her feet comfortable over the long walk she had just endured.
The dæmon which had accompanied her throughout her life and continued to today had the form of a large, intimidating Houndoom, even the coloured parts being darker than usual. He turned and snarled at the two Commander's dæmons, a Weavile and Absol, since they had krept too close to him and his human. They both stepped slowly back to their humans, the two strong male Commanders nodding to their dæmons. They knew the woman in charge's dæmon liked to be in charge, and didn't want to argue with their boss. They were standing on either side of her just a couple of feet back, facing the opposite direction to her, which was back towards where the other five top Team Tsuasa members stood. They were looking nervous, yet excited.
"Erm, Boss? I believe the machine is ready now, we just have to wait for the storm to start." Team Tsuasa's Head Engineer said nervously, his Luxray dæmon watching the Boss' curiously. He watched the head of Team Tsuasa for a reaction. He breathed a sigh of relief as he saw her turn and smile. "Good, excellent. And how long exactly until this storm starts?" she asked, looking into the eyes of everyone there, since they were now all facing her; the two Commanders, second in power only to her; the Head Scientist, the Head of Military, the Head Engineer, the Head of External Affairs, and the Head of Fundings. The Head Scientist spoke up, her dæmon a Porygon on her shoulder. "The storm should start any moment now, ma'am." she nodded in respect.
The Boss smiled, pleased. One hand rested on her dæmon's head as she turned back to face the point a large machine was directed towards. "Perfect. Start the machine; no delays. This has to work." she sounded determined. The Scientist and Engineer jumped towards their invention they had spent years researching and building; all members of Team Tsuasa had been affected by this. The fundings department had been required to find the money to buy materials, while the external affairs department had to keep things quiet and find out all the public knew about this sort of thing. The military department had to train grunts to fight annoying trainers that got in their way, and the scientists and engineers were affected for obvious reasons.
Finally, all their work was going to pay off. The machine was flicked on and began to hum, the Head of Military gripping his Gallade dæmon's arm while the Head of External Affairs pressed a hand to her Honchkrow dæmon and the Head of Funding gripped the fur of her Mightyena dæmon tightly. After a few moments, the soft rumbling of thunder was heard in the distance. The Boss smiled. It was starting. As the rumbling grew nearer with each sound, the group of Team Tsuasa members grew more and more nervous. They finally held their breath as lighting streaked so closely it illuminated their anxious faces, and then their hearts skipped a beat, all at the same time, as they all sucked in a deep breath.
The machine worked as an guider and attractor of lightening. The job of it was to give the lightening just a little more oomph. Well, more than that. A shove, an etherreal shove. As the crack of thunder rumbled over their ears, they watched as a streak of lightening zigzagged down. As the machine affected it, something remarkable happened. It slowed, bending in right-angle until it was positioned about fifty metres directly above the point the group were watching. It fizzed, an orb growing there in the air as a jet of power shot from the machine, the orb growing to have a diametre as long as a human being and changing from white to purple. After about a minute of intense powering up, it shot straight for the ground, a thick column of purple light striking the earth so hard it shook.
What happened next was truely amazing. A great mass of white light shot from the ground, blinding as staring directly at the sun. All the Team Tsuasa members, even the leader and the dæmons, shielded their eyes with their arms. When the immense power of the light explosion faded, they found themselves surrounded by a large amount of pale purple mist which looked much darker in the night. It grew more dense, until, at the spot they were focused on watching, it grew to be so dense it made the air look pitch black. This blackness occured for about a three-metre radius, until it faded out in all directions, the point where the group was about ten metres away still having poor visability. Any could see, however, if there had been anyone else in the completely deserted area home to none, the next thing that happened.
Another orb formed, this time in the centre of the darkness. This one wasn't as bright as before, being simply like daylight against the night. It was somewhere between red and orange, and it stretched, beginning to make out a form. It seemed to be the shape of something curled up, a very solid looking yet flat and single coloured image. It was about as tall as an average man at this point, yet then the shape changed. A deafening cry wrang out across the land, the sound being pure and amazing. It made the hearts of the group soar, cower in fear and cry in sympathy all at the same time. This sound was unmistakably the song of a Ho-oh, the great legendary being who was said to be the guardian of the skies. The light being uncurled, extending wings and a great head to form a shape of a Ho-Oh. Not just any Ho-Oh; the original Ho-Oh. The one which had the special powers, rather than one of the ordinary Pokémon-like Ho-Ohs.
No, without a doubt this was the image of the Main Ho-Oh, the chief, the original. Its presence alone, just this simple moving shape and sound invoked such strong feelings in the group they shook with fear, feeling incredibly small and weak to it as an ant might feel towards a dinosaur. Finally, the shape began to fly off, fading into nothing as the sound died away. At last, the shape shattered into billions of tiny dots which glittered and shone as they fell to the ground. Something was happening in the darkness. Whatever had made the Ho-Oh and the song had clearly been in incredible pain, and now it was moving. Firstly, nothing happened other than the dots of light from the shape fading away to leave them in darkness once more, aside from the light of their torches.
Then, a pair of eyes shone in the darkness. These were no ordinary eyes, either; they were piercing, more so than the Boss'. A blood red, they shone like rubies. However, despite their strange, glowing colour, they were without a doubt that of a human. The human stepped closer, its sillouette showing in the slightly lighter mist. It was taller than the three females Heads, but not quite as tall as the men, who were all taller than average. Perhaps that meant it was a female, then? The shape then changed in a way which made the jaws of the five Heads drop; it extended large wings, and as it grew more visable those piercing eyes continued to bore at them. It, now more visable, appeared to be wearing a skirt; female, then. Still, there was something left out about the wings. Pokémorphs were common; no, there was a huge reason the Heads, who hadn't been informed of what would happen, were so amazed.
They were identical to that of the Ho-Oh.
As the figure, the Ho-Oh 'morph, stepped out of the mists which was now being blown away, it could be seen properly. Firstly what they noted was that it was definately male; the 'skirt' had merely been his Ho-Oh tail, and his dæmon was female, his features masculine. The next was that he was albino. The Boss, at this point, clapped her hands together in joy. "We've done it! We've brought the greatest warrior we could possibly have from another universe entirely. This is the legendary Pokémorph. When we discovered that it impossible to harness the power of legendaries in this world, we turned to anoth-" she began an explanation, but stopped as she noticed the third big thing. "Oh, Arceus..." she said, in complete amazement and shock.
This man, the only legendary Pokémorph that should ever exist in Enera, the strongest warrior they could possibly find after years of planning, researching and glimpsing other worlds, the greatest fighter they could ever have, was fourteen years old. His skin was ghostly pale, his red eyes contrasting his otherwise white self completely. His hair was a mass of white locks, topped with a pale grey hat. He wore a pale gold T-shirt, along with light blue jeans and light brown sandals. His feathers were white, the tips having a very slight green tint and on his tail, a slight gold tint. His crest was hidden underneath his hat. The boy watched them with an expressionless face, yet those deep, mysterious eyes conveyed great emotional pain. He was extremely handsome, too, but they didn't really care for his appearance.
His dæmon stood protectively at his side in the form of a Dragonite, her scales completely white and her eyes also ruby red. She was snarling at the Team Tsuasians from behind him, but he raised a hand to calm her. He looked at the group. "My name is Connor Kaikera. My dæmon is Vivime, and we would like to know how you saved us from the torment, and why you are not looking at us with loathing now." he spoke simply, apparently not having the best social skills in the world.
The Boss stepped forward, not sure how to treat him. She dicided to keep about a metre away until she felt it was all right to come closer. "Connor, I can't see why we would hate you. Me and my people, Team Tsuasa, want to welcome you to Enera! We've finally acomplished transporting you from another universe, and here we can promise you good treatment. What do you say, Conner? Vivime? Will you join us, Team Tsuasa? We will treat you incredibly well, and you will achieve such great things. You will be able to get your own back on whoever tormented you, I promise. So, what's your decision?" she asked, sounding a little hopeful.
Connor thought about this for a moment, before nodding. ~That seems fair... another universe explains why things look so different here, why both the moons are missing...~ Vivime spoke. Connor nodded. "If this really is another universe... I suppose I need someone to help me... and you might work... I think. I'll join you, yeah. But I might, like, leave or someting if I don't like it." he said awkwardly, not knowing what to say. He stepped towards the group, and they walked off after the Boss had screamed to the heavens, "May it be known that Team Tsuasa have taken the first great leap to victory!"
