Cloudy Day, Cloudy sight, Start of our might

[Airis]

It was already the third day on Airis' start of her Journey. Getting Riana on her first day, Getting to know the Ralts and gaining Kuro on the second. Looking ahead of her as she stands there, gazing at the scenery with a small smile as both her Pokemon and Lorth follow her when she started to walk through Route.

Lorth was on her right side, of course keeping up with the new sights and smells yet trying to stick close to Airis as possible. He was curious but he also knew that if he ventured too far some kind of harm might happen if they showed back up to take them away.

Riana on the other hand ventured a bit away as she practiced using her powers to skip rocks along the ground towards her. Then using her arms she would smack it down further on the Router only to do so again. She ignored pretty much the whole party except for Airis, only to keep up though.

Kuro though, oh dear, He was having a blast moving through the trees seeing what all he could get into and any items that would help him for future Pranks. He didn't stick to one side or the other or even relatively close to the Espeon Morph. Every now and then he even comes up suddenly from the ground it seems in front of Lorth to try to scare the Umbreon Daemon before running off again.

A Pokemon heard a sound and grunted. This sound hadn't been the normal soft sounds of Pokemon quietly moving about as usual, it was even worse than that. It was the sound of a couple of not-too-quiet Pokemon and their trainer's heavy noisy footsteps. The Pokemon hearing it listening paused. Was it disturbed by the noise? Well, it was pretty loud and had woken him up. Yes, then. It was safe to say he had been disturbed. He didn't like being disturbed. He would just have to go and sort the annoying trainer out himself then, wouldn't he?

Peering out, he could see that the offending trainer had a Ralts and Gastly with them. Out of those, he'd have to fight the Ralts due to typing reasons. It didn't matter that the Ralts probably knew super effective Psychic type moves; he would manage. A furious ball of cream fur sprang from the bushes as the Mankey revealed himself, the famously angry Pokemon starting a very deliberate battle by fixing eyes with Riana the Ralts. His eyes gleamed, two angry pinpoints, boring into his opponent's eyes. This was definately a Leer attack, Mankey hoping to lower the Ralts' defense stat.

[Airis]

The Espeon morphs feet stop as soon as the Mankey did come out of the surroundings and started to attack Riana. Looking Straight at the Ralts she starts to mind speak to it. ~So you wish to fight, then here you go you may, Use Confusion.~

Riana stares down the Mankey, she wasn't going to waste her energy on trying to dodge a simple Leer attack. The Leer works in bringing down her defenses but she instantly comes back with a Confusion attack. Riana keeps her eye on the Mankey when she is told by Airis to try to circle the fighting pokemon. Fighting? well that just means this won't be too touch a battle for her then so she did start to circle the Mankey during her attack.

Lorth edged even closer to Airis now, watching from his comfort zone amid the many folds of her Kimono. Growling softly before Airis' split tail gently circles the top of his head trying to comfort him. Kuro in the meanwhile though saw the battle start, and with an insane grin started to pick up little pebbles and pieces of dirt now to try to drop where it was taking place. Sticking his tongue out before darting away to try to find something else he could annoy them with.

Mankey could see Kuro throwing pebbles and things. At first, the monkey assumed this was some sort of trick the trainer was playing; perhaps to weaken him with stones or sneakily draw him into a two-on-one battle. Then he thought more logically, realizing then that this probably wasn't the case. The stones weren't doing any damage, and were just as distracting for him as they were for his opponent. Because of this, Mankey did his best to ignore it. The Confusion attack, on the other hand, looked like another story. That was super effective and would definately Hirt quite a bit, something Mankey was intent on dodging.

Still, the Confusion was fast and accurate, making the Fighting type realise that he probably wouldn't manage the dodge. He didn't, feeling the stabbing pain of the psychic attack pressing in on his mind. Once it was over, he took a moment to recover before attacking Riana back with hisvown move, sending out a thick stream of damaging hearts. This was a Covet attack, and if Riana wasn't holding anything it would still be quite strong and painful.

Riana yelled out at the stupid Gastly, telling him to stop throwing things and ruining her battle. Scoffing when he did run off but knew she should probably finish the battle before he decided to come back to help by prank. ~hey ignore the distraction, your in a battle watch out~ the last part of Airis' words came as she saw the hearts racing towards the Ralts.

Riana looks and tries to dodge, too late though and is hit anyways though thankfully she wasn't holding anything either. ~Will-o-wisp~ Riana nods as she summons a few light blue floating fireballs which fly over to try to give the Mankey a burn.

Airis frowns during all this as she watches, this was going to be a tough battle more then likely for this Ralts. Slowly she reaches deep into her sleeves to hold an empty Pokeball in her hand inside her sleeve to get it ready if it needed to be used. Lorth on the other hand came out from amidst the Kimono to softly growl and crouch down, ready to help if Airis informed him to but she only shook her head.

ic// Mankey watched, smiling as Riana was hit by the Covet attack. Good, that was definately a good thing. Every little hit mattered, after all. The monkey was focusing his eyes on the Ralts still, noting that the Psychic type seemed to be using a Will-o-Wisp. Hm, he knew what Will-o-Wisp did; it would Burn him if it hit. That was probably not as bad as Confusion, but of course a Burn would deal a little damage on each turn, so it was probably bad in its own way. The Fighting type tried to dodge, but failed, the flames licking his fur and making him yelp.

An angry red spot which now took some of his energy on his side, the pig monkey's little angry eyes were fixed on Riana. He was taking deep breaths, clearly furious but managing to contain himself so that he could still battle. He then let loose the adrenalin in his attack, racing as fast as he could towards the green topped Pokémon in his next attack; a Scratch. Since it had the boost of the adrenalin, it was stronger and faster than the last attack had been.

Riana just gave a grin when she saw that her attack did hit him as, and glad that now he was indeed burned and that would help in this battle against him.

~Dodge right and left now~

Riana twisted her body left and right after she heard Airis in her head, trying to dodge the powerful scratch attack. She does succeed in dodging the scratch but just barely, only because she did move from side to side as she walked back during it.

Now the Mankey was just a foot away from her though, and his next attack would hit she knew that. So her only hope would be to try to finish it or last his next attack. So she put all her power behind another confusion attack of hers as she directed it towards the Mankey.

Airis on the other hand watched everything going on, her mind just raced with different ideas she could possibly use. she Brung out the Pokeball she had in her hand, now out of her sleeve as she got ready for after his attack.

Mankey smiled as his second attack hit Riana. Good, things were going well so far, but this was only the second turn of the battle and there was a lot more left to go; Mankey wasn't feeling weak at all yet. The Confusion from the Ralts then struck, and he howled in pain. Yikes! This was the first attack the little Psychic type had used on him, and it was strong! He supposed that was understandable since it was a super effective move on a Fighting type like himself, but all the same he was angry and glared at the trainer and her Umbreon formed dæmon.

Wincing as the Burn dealt damage, he was now even angrier from that. He'd get Riana back for the pain! The monkey snarled, baring his teeth in a threatening way while his eyes glowed, using a Leer attack to lower Riana's defense stat. He then used an offensive attack. Mankey let out a battle cry as he lunged for his opponent, racing forward to Scratch Riana. This might hurt the Ralts, but of course while attacking, Mankey's guard would be down, which could be used to Riana's advantage.

A little grin crossed both the Ralts' and Espeon Pokemorph's face when the confusion attack hit the Mankey. It was working to their advantage the type it looks like and Airis wasn't about to let that get to be their downfall. She watched closely as the battle raged on, seeing the Leer and the new scratch attack.

~Let it hit you, and use confusion during~ is all Airis said to Riana in her mind as the Mankey came forward with his attack. Riana stood her ground as the Mankey scratched her, immediately she let out a Confusion attack once the Mankey's attack connected. Airis hoped at this close of range maybe it would finish it and she could capture it, as she got the Pokeball in her hand ready.

Mankey could see that as his Scratch hit, Riana was using a Confusion attack. Yes, he could see that well enough, but he didn't want to have to end the battle just yet. After all, this would only be the third offensive attack he'd taken this battle! It might be more, but he was pretty certain that was the right amount. He couldn't dodge, since it was so close up, and so he just braced himself, Scratching Riana a lot harder than he usually would have as a reaction to the pain. He was panting at the end of it, completely tired out from the battle so far but with still a little more to go.

To say Mankey was angry would be and understatement. No, this monkey Pokemon was furious as the burn took off a little more health. He refused to faint now, but it wasn't exactly helpful that he was so weak. He could hold on though, and knew he had at least one last blchance to try and win; Riana would be weakening, too. The cream coloured fuzzball tried another Leer/Scratch combo, since it needed to hurt Riana as much as possible. His eyes gleamed, looking quite scary in hope of lowering the Ralts' defense stat, before he raced for her in an angry, accurate, likely to hit and not so strong because of his weakness Scratch attack.
