Generation V - Black & White

Well here we can discuss all about the new generation. The new pokemon, new releases about it. Basically anything we want ;D. So I shall start....

I was thinking about the starters again. Tsutaja, Pokabu and Mijumaru. And I'm not sure what to say. I had initial reactions but they seem to keep changing. So I am summasing what I think about each in short sentences.



Firtsly, Tsutaja = I think it is a cool Pokemon, there is no doubt there, I probably might start with it too. However it is a very strong rip off of Treecko; there has already been a grass lizard Pokemon and I don't see Tsujata's evolutions being that good. But you never know....

Secondy Pokabu = I thought it was weird having a fire pig Pokemon at first. But I've grown to love it since its quite cute and a four legged fire Pokemon that doesn't have hair/fur ^_^. I might have one of these as well, however I'm scared that the evolutions will take Pokabu from cute little piggy to great vicious, ugly boar... Which I would not want on my team....

Thirdly Mijumaru = A little beaverish with a random shell on its stomach. I didn't really like it at first, but now it's starting to grow on me. I'm not sure if I would choose it, but unlike the other starters I can see some very strong potential in its evolutionary line and can't wait to see what comes out of it. However, Mijumaru does seem very... well... sad and frowny. I'm not sure if it's meant to be sad or just look timid or innocent but it doesn't look happy at all which is a bit of a bummer.

Anyway... That's what I think.... What about you?

I think that they are just odd, not that all Pokemon are, but they just don't seem to be like the older pokemon. I don't really know what to think yet, but I hope the evolutions are cool. I'll tell you more when I find out more about them and stuff XD

Yeah...I'm pretty displeased with them. The Grass-type IS a ripoff of Treecko, but it's definitely got potential. I'm really disappointed with the otter, because IMO it looks horrible, even though the idea is great--I don't mind the timidness, I'm talking about the huge weird-looking nose and freckles. As for the fire pig, it's cute, but as you said, Angel, I'm worried it's going to become some nasty boar of giganticness.
Anyway, I still reserve the right to not judge them completely yet, though, because if the evolutions are cool I'll forgive the starters. ^_^
It's a pity, because I really enjoyed Zorua and Zoroark.

Yup. All we can do is hope for their evolutionary lines.

I actually like them, about time getting starters that look more complicated at the base evolution rather with frills and gills and other random stuff on em.

OMG Black and White Legendaries!

Look at Reshiram and Zekrom? Which will you get based on these legeandaries. Personally, for once, I think both Legendaries are beautiful and cool and I'd be happy with either of them. Most of the legendaries I didn't really care about, but I'd want both of these! I'd want both but forced with a choice I'd get Black with Zekrom he reminds me of some ancient, powerful, mighty, serious dragon warrior. Definitely Pokemon Black for me!

YES. THAT'S THEM. THAT'S THEM. *_* Okay, while I'm not too fond of the starters, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE LEGENDARIES. I can't even choose which game I want. I love both of these two SO, SO much. Their names are so cool, too. AUGH. I can't wait to see what the third one looks like.

Though apparently, Angel, Reshiram is the cover Pokemon for Pokemon Black and Zekrom for Pokemon White.
