ooc// By the way, Sulteron's not staying back, and we're not allowed to say what Pokémon we find, that's the mod's job.

(OOC: Sorry if it felt that way... it could just be a group of burrowing Pokemon, though, such as a horde of Diglett or a few Dugtrio.

The vibrations seemed to be getting steadily strong as time went on, still inaudible, but very easily felt by now. Voices seemed to floating from a litte ways off, two men arguing with each other about something while trying not to make to much noise. The pokemorph ears were easily able to pick up on them, even if human ear would not have been able to." Hey, Trace, be careful and keep those pokemon in control; We don't need any unnecessary attention here." A flowing, almost hypnotic Tenor voice chided.
The reply was swift, and just as causiously toned down." I'm doing the best I can, but it hard when the only way I have to control them is a machine I just learned how to use earlier today." A midranged, male Alto voice returned. The voices fell silent as a the grunt of many pokemon were heard and the vibration increased tenfold, become slightly audible to the morphs and their pokemon. But before either trainer could react to this strange occurance the to wild pokemon, Ozu and Rafu, began clutching their heads, moaning as if they were in pain. Maybe these strange people have something to do with it?

Sulteron's eyes widened in alarm. Her instant reaction was to return all her Pokémon to their Pokéballs, whether they liked it or not, for fear that whatever was happening to Ozu and Rafu would happen to them. As a Psychic type, she was intelligent, but she still needed more information to be able to piece this together. One thing was for certain, however; this was not good. "From what I can tell, it seems there is at least one male, named 'Trace', and a female down there, along with Pokémon... from what they're saying they're managing to control all the Pokémon." Sulteron said her conclusiona aloud.
The Sandshrew and Baltoy's condition was a little worrying. Was it... "Er, I think their control-thing might be having an effect up here, on Ozu and Rafu. I'd advize you to return your Pokémon." she told Jaxamar. What could she do about the two wild Pokémon, though? She was an Espeon 'morph, so she could always try and fix things with telepathy... but what if something went wrong? She hated using her power, and there was a reason for it. Right now, the best she could do was try to sharpen the two's focus enough to answer her request. "Lead us to the source of what's going on in your heads, we need to stop it!"

Jax nodded, holding out his Pokeballs and returning the Pokemon he could. Furnblaze dodged the beam, stubbornly enduring the pain... at least until Jax scooped him up and held him in place while he returned him.
Jaxamar glanced at Sulteron, then pulled off his gauntlets. These he tossed to Gareth, who caught them, startled. "You're going to use..." he said, indicating Jax's wrists. "Yeah," Jax replied, clenching his hands into fists, "I don't think I have much of a choice." His wrists suddenly ignited, filling the den with dancing shadow and light. "The gloves are coming off," he said, his voice low and feral, "I'm going to stop those bastards."

Being a psychic type himself, Ozu was able to resist the mind control even without Sulteron's help, but the Espoen 'morph's assistance certainly made the stabbing desires that were being sent into his head easier to deal with and function through. He had no idea what had happened to them, one second he was find and the next, his will power was being being pushed to the limits and he was just managing to hold on. Rafu, shuddering and clutching his head as if to block out whatever was affecting him, on the other hand looked as if he'd been right on the brink of losing his control before Sulteron had stepped in. He was able to look up at the trainer now, wincing slightly every now and then.
~I..I think w..we can man..age that much.~ Ozu panted, looking tired and worn down.~One of you might have to carry, Rafu, he seems to be using all his focus just to resist and I won't go anywhere if he's left here.~
The sandshrew, still tightly clutching his head, looked over at the Baltoy, his expression somewhere between a grimace and a smirk. He began walking laborously towards the entrance of the cave. Once he got the turned back to everyone and frown.~I can carry my own weight, Ozu. Now, if you two plan on doing anything come on.~Ozu was shocked and quickly fell into step at Rafu's side. The two pokemon lead the two morphs to a rather large, sand dune. The vibrations were heavy and loud now, accompanied by a long, shrilling ringing. The was obviously what was causing the mind control as it was even effecting the morphs slight, not bending their will, but causing slight head aches.~They should be on the other side of this sand dune. The vibrations are really strong here and the suggestion is almost unbearable.~Rafu panted, looking over at Ozu, who nodded.
They lead the Morphs over the dune and the first sight the met them was a group of rock and ground pokemon, surrounding the half burried ruins of some temple or shrine as they tried to dig it up.. The element of surprise would've been nice, but another powerful fluctuation of sound caused the two wild to pokemoin to let out loud grunts of pain. This one had been stronger than the last and could possibly have a stonger effect on the morphs if the weren't careful." Hey, you kids, what do you think you're doing here?" The Tenor voiced male asked, his daemon was a Minun with an eery smirk on it face. There was another man sitting next to a control panel a ways off from the rest of the pokemon, ironicly an equally technologically interest Plusle was his Daemon, this must of be the 'Trace' that was mentioned.
Next to him was a roughly three foot tall pillar with glass orb atop it. The orb was pulsing with every reverberation of sound as well as swirling with a collidoscope of color. He seemed to be the one controlling the pokemon. He looked up at them and pull out two pokeballs, tossing them and releasing the pokemon inside. One a Bagon and the other a Meditite." Don't waste time talking to them. Just drive'em away!" A battle already. Wow! they were being protective. This had to be something no good.

Sulteron looked at the two men. Their daemons were a Plusle and Minun, and they seemed friendly... did that mean they were brothers? Or... partners? Whatever it was, they'd released a Bagon and Meditite. She grimaced as her headache worsened, then settled back to normal again. Yowch, she needed to find whatever was causing that! It was just... excrutiating! Now, to the battle. Which target did she fight and who did she choose?
She could see that Psychic types seemed to be less effected, so Taya would be useful. Of course, Segonami the Suicune was a legendary, and so would probably have more willpower. Plus, she'd saved the wolf's life, adding to that willpower. Sego knew Ice Beam, a move that was super effective against Bagons. Hadn't Jax shown her his Tailow and Duskull, Pokémon that would be super effective against Meditite? Plus, her Pokémon were on level 20, while his ranged from 5 to 7. The Bagon looked like the stronger of the two, so it was only fair she took it on.
"Segonami, go! Let's start things off with an Ice Beam against Bagon!" she called, throwing the legendary's Pokéball. Sego emered from the waterdrop-marked Pokéball, emitting a mighty roar as she did so. The Ice type wolf was exerting her Pressure ability in order to make her opponent a little more scared. She felt the headache, but tried to ignore it. She opened her mouth, a ball of light appearing inside before she shot the thick, powerful Ice type attack that was Ice Beam at Bagon.

"Duskull, you're up!" Jax yelled; as Duskull appeared on the field of battle, only to sink into the ground. "Hey! Where are you going?" Jax demanded, just second before the Pokemon reappeared, this time behind the Meditite. "Whooooo!" he said, waving his stumpy little arms: a Night Shade attack, which was pretty much the only offensive move he had.

Trace and Alto gasped slightly as the legendary was released, Alto stood up from the control panel as suicune's ice beam built up, ready to fire. Both the appearance of the legendary and the duskull emerging behind meditite had caught both pokemon and trainers off guard. The night shade hit, more effective because of their types, and meditite jumped back and away from the ghost pokemon, putting distance between them again. The ice beam also struck home and the bagon shuddered at the sudden cold, luckily it didn't cause it to freeze.
The two trainers were furious, and both started ordering their pokemon to respond, Alto first shouted, "Bagon charge forward and use headbutt on suicune," Trace ran slightly closer to the battlefield, "Meditite, use hidden power on that duskull, get it back for attacking you" the girl was red in the face, furious.
Bagon ran at the suicune, trying to close the distance, when it was within a few feet it put its head down and ran full pelt at the legendary, hoping for a solid hit. Meditite glowed brightly white and put it's hands together in a classic meditating position, then turned its hands outwards. A white orb emerged there, the meditite pushed its arms forward and shot the orb in a fast beam towards the duskull.

The Hidden Power merely passed right through Duskull without harming him. Duskull laughed eerily, turning upside down. "Baka!" Jaxamar exclaimed, laughing as well, "A Normal-type attack like Hidden Power won't do squat against a Ghost-type like Duskull!"
Duskull waved his arms again, performing another Night Shade. He didn't bother waiting for orders; he knew what Jax was going to tell him to do. He just so happened to get in the Bagon's way as well, and the dragon passed right through him without causing damage, although the Bagon would feel chilled by passing through him.

Sulteron was pleased that the Ice Beam had hit Bagon, and wasn't too bothered about the opponent not being frozen. That didn't matter so much; what did matter, however, was how she fought. This battle was probably more important even than her gym battle, since this was the lives of other Pokémon, and plenty of 'em. She quickly thought of a plan. Segonami might feel a bit of pain from this, but it was a small price to pay. "Sego, let the Headbutt hit! Before Bagon can move away, use a Bite!" she called.
The Suicune nodded, understanding. As Bagon came near, she threw in a Leer attack for good measure in order to lower the Dragon type's defense stat. She felt the pain of the Headbutt, and growled slightly with from the attack. None the less, she would keep going. The Ice and Water type was reknowned for being very fast, and so when she ducked her head for a Bite it was likely to be quick enough to hit.

ooc;; just for future reference, hidden move is registered as a normal type but it's type changes with pokemon and field, in fact nearly all pokemon can get a type advantage from using it in a particular area. When used on a kecleon in different fields the pokemon can change to all types except normal so it never comes out as a normal move. Although dodging's allowed, of course, that wouldn't have been an 'it isn't effective' move, it counts as one of your dodges.
Bagon smiled as the headbutt hit with bruising strength into the legendaries side, proud of itself that it had caused it some damage, it looked up as the open mouth of the suicune was fast approaching and the two ended up locked in identical bites, snapping at each other. "Bagon, duck underneath it and use bite from below," the small pokemon wrenched itself away, dropping to a lower level and trying to move underneath it. The suicune's bite, instead, clamped down around bagon's tail and it yeled with pain, turning around and aiming for suicune's throat with a fast and well-aimed bite to a vulnerable area.
Meditite frowned as the hidden power did nothing, had she not done it right? It should have hit. The night shade didn't catch her off guard this time and she jumped back again, avoiding the ghost pokemon's sneak attack. She sat perfectly still, her body trembling as she began to store energy, ready to absorb any future attacks, slightly worried that a few of those night shades would end her battle before she had time to release the pent up power.
The man, Alto, had returned to his console, trusting his sister to take over with navigating the battle, he was typing furiously and the whining increased. The trainers' suicune and duskull would be feeling some of the pain and temptation that the wild pokemon did, though only enough to make them feel uncomfortable around the battlefield. There was a chance they'd inadvertantly run from the battle unless the meditite and bagon were dealt with quickly. Or something happened to the man at the console, of course.

Duskull hovered there, staring at Meditite with the glowing red orb that was his eye. This was a Leer attack, rather than another Night Shade. He was not performing another Night Shade this time, simply because he was uncomfortable getting close enough to the Meditite to attack; the machine was also interfering somewhat with his intangible state; he kept seeming to waver, bobbing up and down.
Jax cocked his legs, then seemed to explode forwards; he shot right past the battle, and fists-first into the machine; his right hand smashed a power coupling, while his left just barely missed the human's hand as it plunged into the control panel. The heat that surrounded him was intense; a few plastic components on the machine actually melted.

Segonami realised what Bagon was doing too late; as she tried to pull away, the vicous, anger-ridden Dragon type clamped his jaws down on her neck. She howled in pain, yet it was pain in more than one way; she was feeling the temptation and headache increase. She hoped it would stop; she wanted to stay loyal to her trainer, but it was hard with that noise. "Sego, blast him away with a Bubblebeam!" Sulteron called. She purposely avoided mentioning the noise for fear it would draw more of the wolf's attention to it.
Sego would have nodded had she not had a Bagon stopping her. The blow to her neck had seriously knocked health off, but she could keep going; provided that noise stopped. She drew in power, then shot a Bubblebeam right at Bagon from this close range, hoping for a hit. How she wished she had the Soundproof ability. She didn't, so she would have to carry on listening.
Sulteron watched what Jax did. Yes, that was one way to do it. Her daemon Jizu was a Whismur; a Pokémon with the Soundproof ability. Surprisingly, it was actually helping. She wasn't exactly the sort of girl who would just run up to something and smash it, but she could still help, it wasn't all that hard. The Espeon 'morph closed her eyes, feeling the machine with her mind. She opened them again, watching as she moved the various wires with her mind. Unlike Jax, she was careful to avoid anything that might create an explosion. As much as she hated using her powers, it had to be done sometimes.

The Bagon yelped and released Sego, but stayed under the legendary's body, it aimed a headbutt upwards, going for the middle of the stomach and trying to wind the pokemon. The bubblebeam had hit it's face where the pokemon's jaw had ben clamped down and it still stung, having done some serious damage. The Bagon then looked over at its partner whose body wasn't shakign as much as it should be, the bide not storing up much energy, it ran at it, attacking with rage, giving it more energy to store up, it was sneaky but if bide hit it could be the end of the duskull.
Meditite sensed the Bagon's charging movements and wasn't surprised, it was a technique they'd learned, her body was flung backwards slightly from the force and she felt weaker, escpecialyl after the leer. One more attack could finish her, if it didn't it would definitely be the end of the duskull but that was the risk you took with bide.
Jax's attack on the control panel made Alto scream, his sister's flailing hands hadn't caught the young trainer as he'd run past and now, furious, Alto clawed at him. His rage was evident in his indirect movements, just wanting hurt the one who's destroyed everything they'd worked for. He grabbed Jax and pushed him to the floor, one of his hands should be slightly red from the heat and rough handling. The machine let out a low whine, it was behaving differently now, though it wasn't broken. A few wild pokemon emerged from the surroundings, finally able to enter the area, and appearing not to be affected by the machine anymore. Jax and his duskull, however, will be more affected than ever, barely able to make moves and more likely to turn on his partner. The machine seems to be using a connection between Alto and his emotions to direct its power.
Not too far away, a machine beeped and a technician in a lab coat runs to look at it, frowing and tapping at the dials and screen, not knowing why it says that one of the more powerful machine's on the system has stopped working for no real reason. Around him pokemon in cages whine and whimper in pain. These are the rarest of the rare and, being at the heart of this project and closest to the control room for all of these machines, are most affected and in the most in pain. This control room is located at the edge of route three and four and is within a days walking distance if you were too hurry. Of course, the immediate problem of this machine must be dealt with first, but if someone were to reach and stop this operation they would be able to release these pokemon, maybe even capture one or two.
Alto was pinning Jax down by his wrists, absolutely furious, the trainer will need both his own will, Sulteron's, and his pokemon's to overcome the machine and the man holding him.
