Personality:
Karen is a very vain, very lazy girl. She likes nothing better than to sit around and look at her reflection all day. A couch potato at its finest, just looking at her could make one sleepy. Despite this, in the rare occasions she decides to actually go out, she is found to be a loud, irate, argumentative person with a dry sense of humor. She’s especially talkative when the conversation is about herself, and if its not she will twist it until she’s the main topic.
Karen has absolutely no ambition in life, and her soul dream was to one day “Marry Up” so she could be taken care of all her life. This caused much grief for her parents, whom didn’t know what to do about their lackluster daughter. They frequently argued with her and punished her for laziness, but she just let the threats and pleading go in one ear and out the other.
Despite her vain ways, Karen is very self conscious. Not in her looks or the ways he acts, but in what she does. She thinks that whatever she sets out to do, she will just fail at. This is what led to her to her current fantasy of marrying someone a little higher on the social ladder.
Being that Malik is the only Pokemon she’s ever been around before, she doesn’t really like them. She finds them to be nasty, smelly, and ugly. Her knowledge of them is very limited, seeing as how she never put much interest in them like most children did. Avoiding them at all costs is her thing, especially the ‘pets’ that seem to cling to any person they see.
Being that she sits on her rump all day, she has developed things to do with her hands other than change channels. Sometimes she twirls her hair around her fingers, and other times she cracks her fingers. She also hums to herself a lot, and has a tendency to zone out and get lost in her thoughts.

History:
It all started on a blustery Wednesday in March…
But Karen’s life is very bland and boring, seeing as how she’s never actually done anything. So lets skip past that. Instead, lets start at when she was thirteen….
As stated before, Karen doesn't have much ambition. No real hopes or dreams, just to be taken care of. But there is a reason for that. Karen was never allowed to have a Pokemon as a pet, even though both her parents and grandparents were successful Trainers when they were young. They deemed her to be to young and irresponsible, so other outlets for creativity had to be found.
Painting, dancing, sports, cooking, academics- all were lost on her. Her parents always encouraged her and said that one day she would find her niche, but she eventually grew discouraged at her horrible attempts. One day, after nearly breaking her back attempting Gymnastics, she plopped down on the couch and began to watch the T.V.
On the show was a Stardom story about a girl who married a famous movie star. In the show, the girl was a dirt poor waitress who could barely make ends meat, but one day she just so happened to wait a table of some mega millionaire. It was love at first sight, and she ended up getting married to him and never had to lift a finger again.
In her already depressed and disillusioned state, an idea struck Karen: she would Marry Up. Just like that woman on TV, she would marry a rich man. Then her parents would never have to worry about her, and she wouldn't have to go through the disappointments of failing at everything she tried to do.
And so she just... stopped. She let her grades slip in school, quit all of her extracurricular activities, and just lazed about all day and night. She stayed like this for some time without any intervention, her parents thinking it was just a phase she was going through. But after a few months, they grew worried and conferred with the only person the knew they could trust: Karen's Grandmother.
Karen's Grandmother thought that the only thing wrong with Karen was that she didn't have enough responsibility in life. So she kicked Karen out of the house and gave a her a special task to complete if she ever wanted to return home. The task: She must set out and collect all eight Gym badges. The limitations were that no one from her family could help her, so just to be safe all ties were cut.
She was pushed in the direction of the Region's Pokemon Lab, with nothing but a backpack and Malik for company. The journey will be a tough one for her, but if she succeeds it may just restore some confidence in her.

Career: Trainer
The Daemon
Name: Malik
Form: Meowth
Appearance: Malik looks like every other Meowth their is. He has the cream colored fur with chocolate accents. His tail is curved and curled at the end, and the coin at the top of his head is shiny and bright. His eyes are usually glazed over or glaring off into space. He wears a blue collar around his neck, and the tag is a little blue fish. He doesn't like the collar much, though.
Personality: Malik is very short tempered and impatient. He, like Karen, likes nothing better than to laze about all day and nap. He does have a bit more of a temper than her, and will growl and threaten if you wear on his thin patience. Even though he loves Karen, he does growl at her quiet a bit for her loud, obnoxious ways. Even though the two tend to have little spats, they understand each other very well. They are after all, just getting along in their own special way.
