Deaf walks dis way

The little girl quietly walked alongside an absol Daemon on her right, a shiny Ponyta on her left. Her gentle hand was at the base of the Ponyta's mane to help guide her along, both the human and the Pokemon as Miana's eyes roamed around. She took in all the sights she could and checked things out because her ears didn't work of course. The Absol though patiently trodded alongside though while it also kept an eye out for anything that might happen.

A Little female Growlithe just bounded around them, going to sniff at different things before she returned for some attention. Only to bark out loud at something and chase it down only to find out it is a rock or a plant. Her tail wagged rather fast too at having so much company and someone who gave her attention, as she bounded back to Miana and pawwed at her leg to be held. Which Miana complied with and picked her up, gently petting the fur as she held the little fire Pokemon.

A Pokémon's eyes were drawn to some movement as he went about his daily life. He twitched his ears slightly, moving closer. A human and her Pokémon? He smiled as he watched Miana pick up Aria. It looked a little awkward since Growlite were a little too big to be picked up, being around two foot four. The Pokémon could also see a Ponyta- hm, it wasn't too wise for a trainer to have two Pokémon of the same type, since that meant that there was nothing to cover their weaknesses.

Still, maybe he could get a good fight out of this new trainer. The Pokémon walked up to them on his stubby legs, the Whismur making a loud noise to attract their attention. ~Hello, trainer! Might I ask you to battle?!~

[/color] the Whismur asked in his loud voice. How ironic that a deaf girl's first encounter would be with a Pokémon well known for its noise, hm?
