Mikki Akemi Kuro

Appearance
Mikki is a slight girl, appearing to be much younger
than she actually is. This is probably due to the fact
that her wide dark eyes are brimming with an innocence
that others are often envious of. Her childish features
add to the impish air about her, and is the source of
one of her nicknames - Pixie. Another highly prized
feature about her is her hair. You could put this simply
by saying her hair is mid-shoulder length and brown.
But not the mousey-average-everyday brown many girls
have - hers is the color of chocolate and cascades from
her crown in lustrous waves to bounce freely around
her narrow shoulders. She can often be found wearing
soft and summery clothes in the warmer months, and
warm fuzzy outfits in the winter and late autumn.
All About the Girl
Mikki is what some would call spunky, and others
would call too big for her britches. She grew up
the daughter of an eccentric contest coordinator,
the only child to a single mother. Her father traveled
to Oreburgh to work in the mines there and died
one day in a tragic accident when his Machop wasn’t
able to reach him in time.
She always knew she was a big fish in a small pond
and longed to spread her wings and put down her
roots in fresh soil. That’s why she came to the Enera
region to breed Pokemon - something that had
always been a passion of hers. She was always too
much of a tomboy to gussy up for contests, yet too
much of a softie to go through carrying around fainted
Pokemon after battles, and wouldn’t go through it to
make them stronger. Therefore, she was left with breeding
as both the unomitted option and her desired career choice.
The 17 year old has only been here a short while but
already she’s fallen in love with the region. While she's
saving up to purchase her own farm and start breeding
for real, she's taken up photography as a second hobby
and job as well. She used to take photos of her mother's
Pokemon in Hearthome for contest portfolios, and found
she had a knack for it.
In front of strangers she's quite soft spoken, and slow
to make friends - so few people get to see the real side
of her. As explained below the 'fiery' side of her personality
is displayed in her daemon. Her closest relationships are
with her Pokemon, because she's so incredibly shy. She feels
they are the only ones she can really connect to, and has
devoted her life to the study and raising of the creatures.

Hanako the Vulpix[/size]
Appearance
Like most Vulpix, which are either golden yellow or
a burnt orange, Hanako's coloring definitely reflects
her elemental power of fire. From the curled six tails
that are a dark scarlet, to the burnt sienna pelt, you
can tel she's probably a little fireball. Usually there is
a metaphorical fire burning in her amber colored eyes,
and if you get her riled up the tuft of soft hair on top
of her head between her alert fox-like ears will raise
like the hackles of a pissed off alley cat.
Personality
Hanako is the side of Mikki's personality that she feels
but doesn't often show. Her stubborn streak and opinionated
way of thinking is embodied in the little vixen - and honey,
it shows! If she were a teenage girl you'd call her bitchy
or a man-eater. This is the pent up passionate emotion
built up inside of Mikki that she longs to express but isn't
able to because of her naturally sweet way of going about things.
