Professor Pine smiled. Ah, a decision! And she had chosen one of the Enera starters, too! Flarepup seemed very happy to be finally leaving; it had been at the lab for a while and was getting a little bored of it. Pine returned the other Pokémon to their Pokéballs, before handing Flarepup's to Ulixes. "Right, since you've decided on being a Ranger, Flarepup is what we call your 'companion Pokémon'. That means it can assist you unlimited amounts of times, while ones you catch with your Styler will leave after a while. You can catch more, of course, since you're a breeder as well. Yes, I definately think that combo would work." he said truthfully.

Next, he gave the new trainer some starter's items, the standard ones given to everyone. He then handed her her brand new Capture Styler, and took out a map, poking it. "Normally, trainers have to work through the routes one by one. However, Rangers head straight to a base to get their first mission and a little training if needed. You should catch the next bus heading for Silav Town, the ranger base is just here." he explained, pointing it out on the map before waving goodbye. "Goodbye, and good luck!"

"Thank you," Ulixes smiled, interested in the information Pine was now giving her. Note to self: Catch the bus to Silav Town. she thought. She accepted the items, but hesitated with the Styler. It was obviously brand new, shiny and everything. She took it, holding it loosely in her hand. She then turned her attention to the map. She nodded. "Thank you, Proffesor, Telepa," she thanked them, begining to turn to leave. She stuck the items in her pockets, and stuck the Pokeballs to her belt, but held the Styler in her hand. She left the inside of the building and Zack imediutly shot up into the air as a Pidgyot. She waved behind her as she walked off to go look for the bus.
