April sighed in relief as Marly was found safely. It seemed that the Oddish had been playing hide-and-seek or something. A game, a prank or something. This was making the Aipom start to realise that it might be annoying or even worrying to play extreme pranks. She was feeling a bit guilty because of it. Then her attention was drawn elsewhere as Demyx was nearly finishing the soup. She was hungry, and it smelt very tempting. She tried dipping a paw in to get some, but whimpered in pain, drawing it out quickly. ~That's so hot!~ she exclaimed in surprise.

Demyx nodded. "Yep," he replied, "You have to let it cool off before you eat it. If it's still hot, you could probably dip it in the river; it's cold, but it might help." He sliced a couple more berries and put them in before stirring. "Almost done, guys," he informed them as Marly, Munchlax and Dyme drew nearer to the scent.

Aipom nodded, sucking her stinging paw. That seemed kinda interesting. There was much more to human cooking that she had first thought, it seemed. She settled down happily, watching the soup get ready hungrily. However, her expression changed to one of shock as a red and white blur streaked past, making the bowl disappear. What was going on? The monkey certainly didn't think this was supposed to happen. Looking in the direction the blur had gone, she saw the answer.
A Yanma was hovering about a foot off the ground, back to Demyx and soup bowl in hand. It was clearly not hungry at all, and had just simply stolen the human food for the sake of it. Yanma curiously licked some, then let out a cry. Hot! He set down the bowl, then whipped round to glare angrily at the trainer. ~That burned me! You'll pay, trainer!~ it cried, zipping towards Demyx in a Quick Attack. Aipom managed to retrieve the soup and place it again over the fire, but it seemed a battle was now at hand.

"Wha...?" Demyx stood up, seeing the bowl be wisked away by a red and white blur. Suddenly, he heard the words: ~ - Burned -! - Pay, trainer!~ He missed a couple words, but understood the meaning. "~Look out!~" Myde called, climbing onto his hunam's back as a Mudkip. The trainer saw the blur as a Yamna for only a moment before it went to attack him.
Demyx brought the water from the stream to cover his body in a shield to protect against the quick attack, though, it was only water. His pokemon all stood up, but didn't know what to do. They might hit their trainer with anything they did, or miss the speedy Yamna and hit someone else.

Since the water was just water, it did very little to cushion the Yanma's Quick Attack and it would probably have hurt. As the dragonfly drew away, it found itself a little damp, so shook itself off. Hm, perhaps fighting the trainer wasn't actually the best of targets. After all, Demyx wasn't able to fight back, was he? All he could do was use his mild grip on water to control small amounts to go over him. Not too exciting a battle, in Yanma's opinion.
The Bug type looked at his various Pokémon. Yeah, they would make much better opponents. A proper battle, that was what he needed. It glared at Demyx, then looked at each of his Pokémon in turn. Who to fight, who to fight... eventually, he settled on Dyme, zipping towards the Eevee in a Quick Attack much like the one used earlier.

Demyx sighed, but soon saw the Yamna go after Dyme. "Dyme," he called softly, "Try to dodge and then use sand-attack." The Eevee complied, attempting to move out of the way of the quick attack and kicked up some of the sand-mixed-dirt in the process, hoping to decrease the Yamna's accuracy.

ooc// By the way, Dyme is able to take hits so you don't have to dodge the whole time. Just so I'm sure you know.
ic// Yanma beat its wings, furious that the Eevee had dodged. How had he managed to do that, anyway? Yanma's speed stat was nearly twice Dyme's, plus Quick Attack was so fast it was one of the most hard attacks to dodge. It didn't understand why Dyme had done that, but that combined with the faceful of mud made it come to the conclusion that its opponent was a weakling and afraid of being hit. Of course, this would be wrong, but Yanma took Dymes actions and interperreted them in that way.
Well, it might have been hit by the Sand-Attack, but it could still see just about. Of course, it would be less accurate, but it could soon fix it so that it would be able to avoid Dyme's attacks at the normal rate. It used a Foresight to raisen its evainess, then shot towards Dyme in another Quick Attack. It was going by sound and smell as well as sight now, and had just about managed to fix an accurate target. It might be a little off centre and loose some power if it hit, though.

The second attack came quick and knocked Dyme off his paws, but he got up again and went for a tackle before Demyx could say anything, though he probably would of said to do that anyway. The Eevee's paws thudded as he went for the Yamna, though the fast moving angry pokemon would probably dodge, or something like that, Dyme was ready to turn to either side.

Yanma smiled as the Quick Attack proved a sucessful hit, swiftly angling its wings and swooping away to face Dyme again. The Eevee seemed to be using a Tackle. Pah, too slow. Yanma knew he'd be able to dodge that fairly easily. The Bug type attempted to move out the way, but the furry fox Pokémon simply changed his direction a little, and managed to land a hit. It didn't hurt as much as it could have done because Dyme had lost some momentum in turning, but it still hurt.
Yanma decided to take of fact that Dyme was now close to him. However, his strongest attack, Quick Attack, needed more of a build-up than was available, so he would have to make do with an ordinary Tackle. The dragonfly charged at Dyme, but the Tackle wasn't very accurate due to a lowered accuracy, and even if it did hit, it wouldn't do much damage thanks to the short build-up.

Dyme kept his eye on the Yamna and jumped up in the air as it began to move, there for, the wild pokemon's tackle missed, and the Eevee might even land on it, though, it would be a rather fun ride, there was no attack he knew that he could do from above. Perhaps he could at least help protect Demyx from the angry bug.

Yanma watched as Dyme dodged. Ah, that was to be expected at some point, he supposed, what with his lowered accuracy and all. The Bug type was still a little angry at this, though, however predictable it had been. Another move dodged... it wasn't going how he'd planned it, this battle. He'd think of something; he was Yanma! He could do anything! He yelped in surprise as Dyme landed on his back. He dropped a little in air with the sudden extra weight of the fox, before rising again.
At first, his expression showed surprise, but it quickly changed to a smile that hinted that he had an idea. Was Dyme not on his back? In the air, his turf. Yanma had the avantage up here. He flew up higher and higher. When he was a lot smaller to Demyx due to distance, he darted as quickly as he could in a vertical dive back down to the ground. This was a Quick Attack, and would hurt more than usual. It would either pound Dyme to the ground, or, if he jumped off, the momentum would make him hit hard anyway. There was a drawback, though; Yanma would be hurt, too.

Dyme had held on through the flight, though that wasn't a very good idea now, as they were dropping very fast. About half-way to the ground, the Eevee jumped off, and spun in the air, landing on his side, the hit taken. He wondered how bad, if at all, the Yamna would be hurt.

Yanma watched as Dyme jumped off. Maybe he thought that would save him from the hit, but he was wrong. The Eevee was clearly injured as the momentum of the Quick Attack caused him to take the same amount of damage he would have taken if he'd hung on. The dragonfly, on the other hand, was still diving for the ground. He couldn't stop himself in time, and landed painfully. Not as painfully as Dyme, but it still hurt. He grumbled as he rose back into the air with his tired wings.
He'd the Eevee. He had to- his pride was at stake. He needed to defeat the little fox or he'd loose! He definately didn't want that. Who did? The dragonfly growled in anger, gradually becoming more and more furious. He moved back a little, then zipped forwards in another speedy Quick Attack.

Dyme stood up, and saw another Quick Attack comming after him. He did the only thing he could think of, drop to the ground and hope he didn't get hit. He probably would, if it was a ground dwelling pokemon, but this waas one that flew, so he didn't know what to expect.

Yanma saw that his opponent had ducked. Oh, and how much exactly would that do? Not a great deal. After all, Dyme hadn't even attacked back! The Bug type simply angled himself a little differently. It wasn't too hard to do that, after all. Yanma had a determined glint in his eyes and he kept his Quick Attack going, simply a little lower than it had been previously. It was almost upon Dyme, and there was practically no chance he would manage to escape the hit.
