The title says it all, doesn't it?
I am a self-declared otaku (that is, a person who reads manga and watches anime) and I've taken one year of Japanese. Although, that is mainly preparation for my future career. I want to go into Video Game coding and design. And, since the major game companies are based in japan, why not make the effort and learn their language? ;D
I also like Tennis, although I don't get to play often... There aren't many people in my area I know that play, and the few that do work.
I will be graduating HS in a month, and then will begin learning the Ins and Outs of game coding.
In another subject, I am an experienced role player, and have been on forums for at least one year, if not more. I don't track the time. Lol.

Hello Tenshi! You're the Japanese version of me! Lol XD.
Anyway I'm a total Oktaku too, and I've been learning Japanese off the internet on this online thingy but I've taken a break - so I'm not that good but I know some common and useful phrases. I so really want to go to Japan! So badly! So when I get older I'm going to save up and go there! He he ^_^. Anyway I'm a Year 10 in England which equivilates to a Grade 9 in America... I think that's right anyway...
But yeah. ONE MONTH!?!? O.O Are you worried or happy or what?! I wouldn't know what to do personally I'd be panicking my brains out XD

I'm not at all into any Japanesey stuff. I prefer the English stuff on TV, like Dr Who, and a large part of what I watch is comedy like Mock the Week and stand-up stuff. It's probably not a good thing that I get most of my news from shows that make fun of it. But hey, in England, everyone has to make fun of everything Wow, you're finishing school. When I finish school, I'll be very happy then nervous about going to uni. But I'm 14, so that won't be for another 4 years.

He he ^_^. I'm in the last year group of England that are allowed to leave school at 16 . However, I'm staying on anyway so it doesn't really matter... but still... Oh and I get most of my news of off programmes that make fun of it too

Ohaiou!
Yes, angel, I am the Japanese version of you. Although, the full username I would usually use would be: Tenshinokage, which is Tenshi-no-kage, and means Angelic Shadow.
I am excited to graduate, actually, but that's about it. I've always disliked school, so it's a relief to be done with it.
In response to you, birdy... Yeah, that probably isn't good to only watch those for news. Sometimes they take something out of context or twist it, so you don't get the whole story...
Meanwhile, what's age have to do with Graduation? In America as long as you've completed the curriculum you can graduate at any age. I'm 17, myself.
But, to be honest, you should find an official Japanese class. I've found that most 'online thingys' don't work very well...

Angel, you can't be the last year to still be able to leave at 16, 'cos that's my year; we can, but my brother's year, the year below me, can't. And I don't watch those programs just for news. I watch them for the funnyness. I don't watch anything for news ^-^
And age has everything to do with finishing school. I know that in America they can skip years, but here everyone goes through every year once, no matter how good or dumb you are. Although there was someone at my primary school (I think you call it Elementary School) who kept repeating years, but that was only because he has brain damage and should really be at a specialist school. Anyway, the system here means that EVERYONE starts school when they're 4 years old, and EVERYONE finishes when they're 18.

But at my school the year below me, which has my friend in it, have to stay on until they're 18. And I'm sure about it cos they're alll panicking and shouting how it's not fair... Do you go to some special advanced school or something? Or maybe it's different for each county? Making its way up ^_^ He he. And online thingy rules XD

Wow. Your school system is... Different. At last, some factual information regarding the real world comes from a RP forum! Lol. You're all nice people, I can tell, which is why I'll focus more effort on completing the Character Bio I'm working on. Although, to be honest, I had to assail some friends for help with naming things, as I am not excellent at that kind of thing...

Otaku? Video games? *ear perk* ♦_♦ Haha, I'm jealous of you for getting to go to a Japanese class--I'm trying to teach myself, but you know how that gets difficult with no one to kick your butt and other work getting in the way. XD There are so many games in Japan that never come out in English that I seriously want to play. What are your favorite animes/games?

In anime, Ruroni Kenshin is awesome. Also, one of the only good ones in the series, Gundam 00.
As for games, I generally play shooters.

I haven't watched much of the Gundam series, but from what I've seen of one of the seasons, I've liked. (That would be Gundam SEED. I only saw the first few episodes of it, though). As for Kenshin, I love Kenshin! =D I've read the manga, haven't watched the anime, but I have a lot of attachment to Kenshin 'cause it was one of the first mangas I read. I've read the whole series--Misao's my favorite character. x3 I love her spunky attitude.
Hmm, I'm more into the RPGs (Tales of Series, Final Fantasy, Persona, etc...I want to play Kingdom Hearts, but haven't found any time yet.) I'm quite bad at shooters (I've got terrible aim) so the only one I ever played was Dirge of Cerberus, and that was mainly because I like Vincent Valentine, not for the gameplay itself.

Birdy doesn't tend to play games very much, she's not incredibly good at them. We recorded me attempting to play Oblivion at Alpha's house, maybe we'll do something with it at some point. I can play some games, but I get really bored playing shooting games and usually end up shooting/throwing a grenade at myself by accident. Maybe it is different for different counties, then. I wouldn't really know, pretty much everyone in my school stays until they're 18 anyway so no-one cares. It's a grammar school, if that's what you mean by advanced. It's free, though, so no-one's a snob

By advanced I mean each year brings new curriculum...
But do you always speak in third person? Is that a habit? Because it's pretty strange. Also considering you changed between third and first person speech halfway through your post... /analysis
