Name: Allick
Species: Wynaut
Gender: Male
Level: 5
Ability: Shadow Tag - The opponent may not run nor switch Pokemon. If they try to, they will be trapped. Note that Pokemon can still switch by way of Baton Pass.
Attacks: Splash, Charm, Encore
Personality: Allick is kind and hearty, yet slightly combative Pokemon. He will respect any opponent he fights, even if he wins. The fact that they were brave enough to fight him is proof enough that they are worthy. Even though he doesn't know any moves that do damage in the traditional ways, he doesn't it get him down and will do everything in his power to win. He doesn't really know what to think of Karen yet......

Species: Mawile
Gender: Male
Level: 5
Ability: Hyper Cutter- Opponent cannot lower this Pokémon’s Attack value. This Pokémon may still lower its own Attack value using a move of by itself.
Attacks: Astonish
Personality: Gloria... doesn't really like his Trainer. He is a male Pokemon after all, and she keeps referring to him as a "she." He tends to have a little bit of a temper with her, but he thinks its well deserved. With other people, he tends to be very sweet, and maybe even a little shy. He also seems to be more of a follower than a leader, as he mimics Allick in whatever he does. All in all, he's a good Pokemon with a slightly rough side.
Objective: Attempt to get Allick to level 15 and just generally raise Gloria's levels. (And probably fail. xD)
Start!
It had not been her idea to do this, just know that! No! Karen had been perfectly fine, but Malick had said that her Pokemon were to weak and junk, then he made her take time off from her important journey to train them. Not that she knew how, but she figured she could try at the least.
"Why do I gotta' do this, again?" The red head muttered to her Meowth Daemon. She was laying on her side, holding her head up with her right arm. Malik was curled into a ball on her hip. His ear twitch and he looked at the two Pokemon before them, choosing to ignore her.
Allick and Gloria were facing each other, and you could practically see the fire brimming in their eyes. The odd pair loved to battle, or at least Allick did. Gloria was probably just swept up in Allick's excitement. Slowly, Karen raised up a empty Pokeball she had removed from her pack, then dropped it. As soon as it hit the ground, the launched themselves at each other. It wouldn't be much of a fight, but the odds were for Gloria.
Gloria could use the only move
~"So! I see that you are trying to put me out of submission, eh?"~ The Mawile grinned and held up her other arm. She then threw her head back and laughed before continuing. ~"Mark this, Allick! I shall still win!"
Allick didn't respond to this, and instead chose to attack. He smiled sweetly and waggled his tail a bit, making him seem completely defenseless. A barely visible pink aura radiated from him, and he cooed slightly. As it was, his Charm attack worked, ensuring that the Astonish Attacks would do less when they hit. Gloria grunted and responded in kind with the only attack she knew.
This time, instead of blatantly running up to Allick, she turned and ran backwards, in to the copse of trees around them. Leaves could be heard rustling, seeming to come from every direction at once. At last, after three tense minutes, Gloria burst out from brush at Allick's left. She charged into him and hit him with her good arm, then disappeared into the foliage once more.
This definitely stunned Allick, who had been expecting her to get him from behind. So much so that after the initial shock of the attack went away, he was at a loss for words and thoughts. He flinched. Gloria could be heard giggling, and then she jumped at him from the bushes again. She raised up her arm to attack again, but Allick reacted in enough time to jump backwards into the the brush himself. The attack missed, and also sent Gloria crashing face- first into the ground.
A sound could now be heard from the woods where Allick had vanished, the sound of clapping. A disembodied light shone on the Mawile, and thin, papery confetti that dissolved almost instantly surrounded her. The sudden Encore made her smile, but had an adverse affect on her than it normally would. Seeing as how she could already only use one move... she began to use the move in a frantic way, almost like she couldn't control it.
Gloria cried out, the repeated use of the attack not only weakening her, but sending her straight at a thick tree. She hit the tree, and then the forced use of the attack made her hit it again... and again... and again.... and again. When then attack stopped, Gloria slumped forward.
Malick slowly stood up and stretched, then jumped off of Karen. He pranced over to Gloria, then put his paw on her chest and pushed her backwards. When she flopped on her back, it was now viable that she had fainted. Seems that Gloria had knocked herself out.....
Karen grunted and stood up. She pulled out Gloria's Pokeball, then called her back. She walked over to Allick, who seemed ecstatic about his victory. Picking him up, Karen held him on her shoulder and called out:
"Here all, here all! Allick is the victor of this match!" She then put him down and called him back as well, sure that he needed to rest just as much as Gloria did.
"So," Karen looked at Malick, who was grooming himself. "How was that? Do you think that enough training?" Malick shrugged and licked his paw, then rubbed it on his ear. He tilted his head when Karen kept looking at him for an answer, then then stopped and thought about it for a moment.
~.... No." Karen visibly deflated. ~"That's not to say that they didn't gain something, but not as much as we wanted. But the training isn't for naught. Don't worry, theirs always next time."~ Karen frowned, but nodded. She understood, she guessed.
((This is done, since I didn't have a whole lot to work with. I don't think I achieved my goal, but I'll have more to work with, since I'm pretty sure that Mawile learn Fake Tears at level six. ^_^
When you grade it, I won't add any of the levels until after whatever thread I'm in. Cuz I don't wanna cheat and cause a time paradox. =3 Also, how do you do that thing with your posts? I've tried to Justify mine, but it doesn't seem to work. Hope you don't mind my asking. Anyways, thank you.))
