(Look at picture, it's pretty accurate actually so I don't think I need to give a description of how she looks - if I do then tell me and I will write something).
History:
Gwendolyn was born in the parallel universe of Aureus Pectus (Golden Heart), a large kingdom that lay host to all sorts of magical and mythological beings. Magic, daemons, Pokemon, dragons - all sorts of tales from various regions across the world of Pokemon and humans. It's a land full of peace and beauty that remains true to ancient traditions and the future of its people. And as so every one hundred years, Aureus Pectus holds a test for the royal candidates, and from the candidates that accomplish their tasks, from them shall be chosen the next Monarch that will lead Aureus Pectus as its reigning monarch for the next century. And Gwendolyn is one of those very rare 5 candidates....
Gwen was born into a very poor family on the outskirts of the Aureus Pectus and very far from the Capital of Aeternus - she lived in a small cottage in a forest. Gwen had no brothers or sisters and helped out her father and mother with their chores every morning and every evening, without moaning or complaining and doing them with a smile. As she went about her daily farming life, Aquilo, her daemon was always by her side, guiding her on what to do and being there whenever she needed him. The two grew a very close relationship but Aquilo had still not yet settled on a form. But nether the less - Gwendolyn and Aquilo helped and assisted all the mythical beasts, protecting them from people who lost the sight of purity.
However, on November 16th, the day on which Gwendolyn turned to the age of 12 - she and Aquilo heard some commotion deep in the heart of the forest. They dropped everything they were doing a rushed toward the source of the sound. When they arrived they were shocked to see that black traders (those that deal in the black market) were attacking dragons and attempting to take their solid gold hearts that were worth a lot but were illegal to take as dragons were under the protection of the Aureus Pectus Government. Without thinking but acting by instinct after seeing the young dragons in pain, Gwen dashed in to help - but was tossed aside by the poachers. Knocked down but not yet defeated, Gwen picked herself up and a giant rage grew within her - she ran in between a silver dragon and a poacher that was about to end its life. And a large and mysterious power exploded from within her and blew the poachers away. The poachers, unaware of just what power this young and mysterious girl held they escaped.
After the bright and powerful navy light that had erupted from Gwendolyn like a wind had been shown, Gwen stared at her hands unaware of what had just happened. She looked at Aquilo for his wisdom, the great wisdom he had always held - and saw him as a Persian. The pair didn't take much heed to that fact as Aquilo could turn into many forms. Ignoring what had just happened, Gwen and Aquilo tended to the dragons' wounds and then sent them on their way. Then all of a sudden a golden light engulfed them and they were transported to the heart and grand castle of Aeternus.
When arriving in the capital of their land, Gwen and Aquilo had no idea just why the had been transported there. No clue whatsoever. The they were greeted by a man in golden and pure white robes - he was old, about two hundred years old (people from Aureus Pectus live about two and a half times longer then people from Earth). The duo listened carefully as the man who introduced himself as Parquayus, spoke about the powers Gwen had just witnessed. He told her she the potential to become a great mage one day and to develop her powers she would train under the apprenticeship of himself. It was during that speech that Aquilo discovered he could no longer change his form and that he had settled as a a Persian. And from that day on, Gwendolyn trained as a apprentice under Parquayus' teaching. And in two years she became a powerful mage from a farm.
Then on her 14th birthday, Gwendolyn and Aquilo were called upon the council of elders along with four other people roughly the same age. Two boys, and two girls with their daemons. Surprisingly they were told that they were the candidates chosen to become the next reigning monarch of their glorious kingdom. Each one containing different powers. The Fire Star. The Water Star. The Earth Star. The Air Star. And the Evening Star. Gwendolyn was told she held the power of The Evening Star and she was given the star of Arios, a silver triangular gem that stays close to her heart - and now she has been sent to Enera with Aquilo to fulfill her mission of becoming a Pokemon Champion and gaining the right to become the next ruler of Aureus Pectrus...
Personality:
Gwendolyn Maiestas, though born into an extremely poor family, living on a farm on the outskirts of her kingdom and deep within the heart of an uninhabited forest, is a brave and strong young girl. Since she was young she has handled every task assigned to her with a smile and positiveness. She didn't even look upon her situation as bad but as actually quite rich as she was one with nature and could help protect the creatures within her land. And though earing a smile on her face almost every day, Gwen did not concern herself as special or important and accepted her lowly position in th ranks of her kingdom. She wasn't even aware of her powers until 2 years ago.
Gwen holds the power of the Evening Star - a rare power that shows itself through light and shadow. It wasn't until this power was revealed that Gwen became a mage and vowed to protect everything with her whole heart and will. her sheer determination and strength were what gained her the right to become a candidate of the royal chair over Aureus Pectus. Since discovering her powers, Gwen has become a little more mature and serious about what her duties and responsibilities are and tries to act older then she actually is.
However, Gwen is still her timid yet energetic self at times and can get carried away. She's often competing and enjoying herself like a little kid when she really needs to grow up - but that's just Gwen's nature so she can't help it. And though rather optimistic and cheerful, there are times when Gwendolyn doubts herself and her role. Feeling that she cannot accomplish such a large task that has been thrust upon her. There are desperate times when she worries and fears of what her decision might do and how they will turn situations worse if they are wrong. But Aquilo who is the serious counterpart to our heroine always manages to say the right thing to return his human to normal. The strong relationship between Gwen and Aquilo is what keeps the two of them driving on.
So despite Gwendolyn's over enthusiastic, happy, cheerful, clumsy, doubtful of herself nature she strives to become more serious and mature to one day rule and protect her country.

Appearance:
Aquilo is no different in appearance to any other Persian really - except for the fact that he waesr silver bands around his legs (yes I know they're not in the picture but I don't want to fuss around with the sprite). He also carries the Star of Arios'cpunterpart around his own neck and understands that he protect from anyone as if he loses it then Gwendolyn automatically fails her task and cannot become Queen of Aureus Pectus. The Star of Arios' counterpart is smaller but carries the same triangular based shape and revolving lights and is called The Star of Arias. Apart from that Aquilo is the average looking Persian, with cream coloured soft fur, a red orb in the middle of his forehead where he draws power from, long whiskers and a long curled tail.

Being Gwendolyn's daemon - Aquilo is both similar and very different form his human. For example ways in which he is similar to her is that he is brave and corageous and not very fearful of things that may come their way. He'll happily accept any task and deal with it accordingly, trying his best - just as anyone could hope for. Being brave makes the duo of Gwen and Aki a perfect team that will stand up to anyone and anything. Another way Aquilo is similar to Gwen is that he is also very energetic. Aquilo doesn't easily run out of energy and is always doing something to preoccupy his time - this energy boost gives him a lot of confidence to do many great things with ease.
However, just as Aquilo is similar to Gwendolyn there are some major differences. Gwendolyn (as previously mentioned) is the clumsy young girl always trying to do her best to her ability. Wheras Aquilo, although always trying his hardest is in no way clumsy - he is steatlthy and agile, maening he rarely falls over or breaks something. When Gwen teends to be clumsy, Aki is always here to pick her up or help her out, in a way the difference between these two strengthens ther bond. Furthermore, just how Gwen is always honest and true and speaks her mind, her daemon thinks things through before acting on instict and emotion. Aquilo is the tactical one of the pair and is always thinking, and it helps that he is quite wise and knowledgeable. Finally, Aquilo is the one that is always inquisitive and qestions anything he is set out to do, so as to understand even the finest details and not be tricked - this also makes him pessismistic at times. Always thinking about the bad things that coudl happened.
But as Gwen and Aquilo grow older the more they influence each other. Aquilo helps Gwendolyn to become more mature and serious about things in life, whearas Gwen helps Aquilo to have a better time and to always look on the brighter side of life and enjoy what you're doing.
