Tayeko listened to the sound of his claws clicking against the concrete. He looked down at them, their rock hard red surface remaining intact despite any blows to them by the path. The proud shiny Absol shook out his pink tinted mane, inhaling deeply the aroma of the wonderful forest before him. Ah, forests. An Absol's natural habitat. Tayeko felt a strong sense of belonging. A gentle wind picked up, ruffling his mane. He leapt up high, to the highest point he could see; a tall rock. His shocking icey blue eyes closed as he pressed his face to the wind, sighing. His instincts were taking over. He couldn't help but tilt back his red and pink head, open his fanged jaw to the heavens, and let loose a long, blood-curdling howl. It riverbrated from his soul, extending out to the wind and carrying on behind him. Behind him happened to be Sulteron, his trainer. The Espeon 'morph's ears perked up a little at the sound, and her face twisted in confusion. What was Tayeko doing? Jizu, her daemon, was fluttering as a Starly towards him, but couldn't get there without painfully stretching their bond, so Sulteron scrambled up to get next to her first Pokémon, too. Jizu became a larger bird, a Noctowl. Tayeko nodded to him. Sulteron giggled. "Did you just howl?" she asked. Tayeko nodded slowly. Sulteron rolled her eyes. "Why exactly?" she asked. Tayeko simply shrugged. ~I don't know. I guess it just... came over me. Instinct, you know?~ he replied, nodding his head gently.
Sulteron laughed. "All right, fine. But still, let's get training, OK? After all, that's why we came to this place." she smiled, resting a hand on Tayeko's shoulder. She absent-mindedly stroked him, fondled his pink tinted fur. His eyes closed and he emitted a rumbling sound to show his delight. Jizu cooed softly, reminding them yet again of their purpose. However, for a moment, they didn't feel too much like moving. They simply stood there, facing the wind. After several deep gulps of deliciously fresh air, Tayeko fixed his blue eyes on Sulteron. ~How exactly will we train, Sulteron? I understand the concept, but it's not so easy now we're actually here.~ he asked, tail tracing a clear patch free of dust on the rock. Sulteron shrugged. "Well, I suppose we've already reached our first step; instinct. You need to use your instinct to use a move, right? I suppose you've grasped it, but to make attacks really good we should keep it in practice. Then I guess we oughta practice what you feel you need practice at." she smiled. Tayeko nodded, pawing the earth nervously as he though back to the last time he'd battled. He had one, but what did he need more of? He supposed he was an all-rounder, so there wasn't anything which really stood out as being terrible. He could just practice his attacks, he supposed; getting everything into perfect shape would definately prove useful at some point. ~Once we've perfected my instinct, I suppose we ought to practice each of my attacks separately. That way, I'll be even better.~ he decided. Sulteron nodded. Jizu grinned. ~Let the training begin!~ he announced.
Tayeko's powerful muscles rippled as he leapt down from the rocks. Sulteron followed, bending her knees as she landed with an oof, Jizu swooping gently to the ground, tucking in his wings when his talons touched the soft grass. Tayeko smiled, pointed teeth glinting. ~Instinct first, right?~ he smiled. Sulteron nodded, wiping dust from her eyes; there was a lot of it on the ground that had been kicked up when they landed. The Espeon 'morph nodded to Tayeko. "Right. Well, obviously, everything has instinct. The only thing you need to do is learn how to use it to your advantage. Now, instinct is a thing that comes naturally, so it shouldn't be too hard to let it come. With humans, a lot of the time we resist it. At times, you've got to allow it to come. Jizu and I will attack, and you've got to use your instinct to stop us hitting you." she smiled. The shiny wolf nodded, indicating to his trainer that he was ready. He flexed his muscles, claws clicking against the firm ground, absently biting his lip nervously. This was it. He watched Sulteron begin to run, and let himself go to his instincts. However, something inside him told him that this was a bad idea, and he failed to do this and Sulteron caught him in a mock blow. He snarled. Jizu came, now, much harder; he was in the fast and small form of a Tailow. This time, Tayeko managed it; he knocked the daemon off course. Sulteron blinked, feeling the slight pain. As Tayeko went to apologise, she swung forwards, trying to surprise him. Again, his instinct took over and the Absol parried the blow. Sulteron smiled. "Perfect. Now, let's move on to Feint." she nodded, feeling he was ready to move on.
Tayeko smiled. Ah, Feint. A nice move of his, in his opinion. He met Sulteron's gaze. ~Feint. Almost always moves first, and means I fake moving a few direction, then attack. Like almost all of an Absol's moves, very, very accurate.~ he explained what he knew about his move, tracing a line in the dirt with a red claw. He hadn't used Feint all that often, to be honest. Once? Twice? Sulteron would help him fine tune the move to perfection. An evil smile threatened the corner of his lips. Feint was all about catching the opponent off gaurd, right? Well, he bet that Sulteron wasn't expecting him to start right now, without her telling him anything. As she opened her mouth to speak, the wolf made his move. Darting swiftly to one side, he saw Sulteron falling for it. He cut through onto the other side, but Sulteron had recovered. Hm, he'd better Feint again. However, Sulteron didn't fall for it, and he missed. He pulled out of the attack, gasping. Sulteron smiled. "You've got to be on full alert. If the opponent doesn't fall for a Feint, improvise. Finish the attack anyway." she nodded, showing she was ready. Tayeko was off again, studying her body language with those brilliant blue eyes. Everything was picked up by him, every slight movement. He feinted one way, the other, another one... Sulteron had fought the urge to follow him, knowing was a fake, so he kept going, surprising her when he caught her out. Rather than attacking, of course, he merely tapped her. They practiced again, and it would seem Tayeko had at last got the hang of the move. Sulteron finally stepped back. "Phew, I'm a little tired now. Let's practice Scratch, OK?" she smiled.
Tayeko blinked. Scratch? He examined his claws. He could do with the accuracy. ~Sulteron, I believe my Leer and Faint Attack are well practiced. After this, you can go and help the others.~ he told her. She nodded, agreeing with him having seen his performance in his last battle. He had even envoked fear in her with his Leers, and shocked her when he reappeared after a Faint Attack. Yes, they were fine. "All right, then, Tayeko. I'll throw these sticks into the air. You've got to Scratch them in two." she instructed, proudly brandishing a bundle of thin twigs. Tayeko surpressed laughter; that was ridiculously weak. They were hardly a match for his claws. His confidence grew. As he watched intently as the first stick flew up from her grasp, he untensed his muscles, springing into the air. He claws groped about the air, attempting to cut neatly through the twig... but finding nothing. Now he understood. The thinness was nothing to do with the difficulty of breaking them; it was the difficulty of actually hitting them in the first place. The Absol snarled as the next one flew into the air, feeling his instincts come. Yes, that was what he needed! Without truly realizing what he was doing, Tayeko's wild instinct took over and he sliced the twig neatly in half. Wow. The Absol was surprised, and he smiled as he landed. A few more tries, and he had it mastered. Content, he turned to Sulteron. ~I feel that's a suitable conclusion to our training. I feel stronger. Thank you. Now, let's go find Denka, shall we?~ he said, leading the way to the Shinx who was waiting to be trained.
I say he get 9 levels, judging on how I've given them out to other members.

Denka yawned, listening to the crackling electricity about this place. It was a good spot for her to have chosen, a nice place beside an electrical generator. It made the ground shiver with electrical energy, and she loved it. It seemed like a basic device, the generator, with roughly enough power to power a shed of tools. She knew this because that's exactly what it was doing before the golden Shinx had taken one of the wires; just one; and dug it into the ground. Since she was rather intelligent, she had known which wire would be best to fix into the ground for her own pleasure. It was a fairly strong current. The worker inside the shed hadn't noticed; she had chosen one which had been powering a lawnmower the man had just packed away. She felt the electricity tingle as her fur began to rise, standing on end as the fibers became similarly charged, repelling each other. She sighed, her eyes closing. This was a wonderful place. She hoped it would always be this good, training. True, she wasn't getting stronger at the present, but it sure felt good. She rolled onto her back, snake like black tail brushing the grass gently. This was the life. When Sulteron retired from being a trainer- if she did- the next best thing to travelling the world would be this. She wondered if a pack of Shinx were as clever as her, knowing how to set generators to make themselves happy without anyone noticing. Then again, she would probably have been trained all the way to a Luxray by then. Which reminded her that she required her trainer to train her. ~SULTERON! Are you out there?~ she called, ear flicking back to listen to a reply.
An Absol answered her call, landing neatly on all fours. He was a shiny, a pink and red colour. He looked a lot like Tayeko, but this Absol was much stronger. His coat had a powerful sheen to it, too. No, this may look like Tayeko- but was it? As if in answer to her unspoken question, another Absol dropped down from the hill. They exchanged glances, looking at her. Two! A small pack. No, Tayeko did not have a friend. This mean that they weren't friendly! Then Denka noticed the second one's eyes. They were lilac, and between them was a mint green stripe. ~Huh? Jizu? And Tayeko... you look much stronger!~ she said nervously. Tayeko laughed, Jizu joining in with him as Sulteron raced down the hill. ~Hey, Sulteron. We gave Denka a bit of a scare!~ Jizu exclaimed, fluttering over to Sulteron as a Tailow. He giggled. Sulteron rolled her eyes. "That isn't very nice, you know. Denka, we've been looking for you for ages. Tayeko's just been training with us." she explained. The Shinx sighed, knowing how silly she'd been. Tayeko winked, padding slowly to Sulteron's side. ~She's a surprisingly good trainer. You'll see; I bet you'll be a Luxio at the end of this.~ he gave the puppy a warm smile. She giggled, shaking her head. ~That sounds amazing, but I bet it won't happen.~ she said, a hint of longing in her voice. Sulteron shrugged. "You never know. Now tell me, what do you feel you lack by means of battling?" she asked. The Shinx didn't need to think for very long. ~My Defense stat.~ she said immedietly, ready for action.
Sulteron nodded slowly, trying to think of a way to improve a Pokémon's Defense. Well, she supposed that perhaps learning to block blows would help, but in order to improve the actual stat, Denka would need to learn how to brace herself to take hits. The Shinx was intelligent, so this could probably be used to her advantage. She would know which muscles would be used for what, where the pain would be focus... yes, learning to brace herself would be useful. "Right, Denka. Tayeko will helo you here. He will attack, and you will block him or, if you can, brace yourself. Don't panic, and try to use your intelect to help you." she instructed. Denka nodded. Sulteron moved to Tayeko. "Right. Tayeko, please, go really easy. You're at level sixteen now, and she's on level seven. Use Scratch- gently!" she called. Tayeko nodded, taking it easy on Denka. He went for a straightforward swipe. Denka gritted her teeth, front leg wobbling with the effort it took her to hold Tayeko's paw off her. When the Absol was satisfyed, he began to pad away. Suddenly, however, he lunged for the Shinx again, hollering, ~Brace yourself!~ as his claws came into contact with the cub. True, he was going gentle, but Denka still whimpered in pain, gritting her teeth. However, normally, she'd have shown an effect after; this time, however, she walked away as if nothing had happened. They repeated this excercise a number of times, until Denka found she was able to take much more powerful attacks.
At last, Sulteron called Tayeko off. She beamed at Denka. "That's brilliant, Denka! Thanks, Tayeko. All right. Now, let's work on perfecting your moves, shall we? Let's try Tackle first. Tayeko, stand back. Jizu, you could to, but you'll feel any pain I feel anyway." she began. Tayeko obeyed, but Jizu just pressed himself closer to her. Pain? But this was Denka being trained, not them! "Now, don't be afraid. It's for your sake, so I don't mind. To practice your Tackle, I want you to Tackle me. Try and knock me into the tree." Sulteron asked, swallowing. She wasn't sure whether the Shinx would be able to do that; the Electric type was loyal, but loved her, perhaps too much to hurt her. The Pokémon's orange eyes were quizical, as if unsure. Sulteron encouraged her with a nod. Denka squeezed her eyes shut, imagined her trainer was a Team Tsuasa grunt. That made it much, much easier. She pelted across the grass, and heard a grunt from Sulteron. Looking up, she saw her trainer was a little hurt, but all right. "Not too powerfull. Try focusing your power into your legs, giving you a stronger push." she advised. Denka tried again. This time Sulteron was slid backwards a few centimeters. She clapped, shuffled back to her original place, and Denka tried again. This time she focused all her power into her legs, pushing off each bound as though it were her last... finally, she felt impact and opened her eyes just in time to see Sulteron stopping herself from crashing painfully into the tree with her telekinises. She laughed. "That's it, Denka! One more time, just to be safe." she insisted, with the same result. Denka was pleased with herself. The final stage of her training session was here; her Leer attack.
Sulteron faced Denka, crouching down to be a similar height to the Shinx. "Leer. You're going to scare me." she nodded, looking the Pokémon directly in the eye. The Shinx was quite cute, not too scary, at the moment. She felt this might be tricky for the little cub. She strocked her golden shiny fur, nodding. "Don't get disheartened if you don't do this on your first try, of course." she added hastily. Denka showed mild confusion, but that quickly faded. She supposed she was rather cute, after all. Maybe she could use that to gain the element of surprise or something like that. Her eyes glowed gently as they bore into Sulteron's, her mind focusing on immitating something that would scare her. A snarl crossed her lips, her fangs being bared. Sulteron shivered. It was working! She allowed a soft growl to rumble from her throat. Sulteron couldn't take it any more; she tore her gaze away. "All right, that was good. Scary. I didn't realise you'd be that go- oh." she was cut off. 'Oh' was right. Because of all the levels Denka had gained thanks to the training session, she was becoming Sulteron's first evolved Pokémon. She gasped in joy as her body emitted a pure, blinding white light, spreading over the entire body in a split second. She felt odd and tingly as the grass krept away from her, her limps growing longer and her body larger. Her fur grew longer, shaggier and black in places, and she felt much stronger. When it was over, and the Shinx was now a Luxio, she barked in joy, hugging Sulteron. Another training session successful!
Denka gained nine levels!
