Faith in Madness

Many students stared as Aisa made her way down the hallway's towards the headmasters rooms. After all, it wasn't everyday you saw a Gardevoir wearing clothing and being escorted through the hallways by a funny coloured Alakazam.

The young morph twitched as she heard the thoughts of several of the students. A mated pair...? With Khai? That was just wrong. And most of the others weren't much better. What was it about humans that made them so obsessed with mating?

Aisa sighed as she tried to ignore the thoughts and feeling that flowed so obviously through this place. She'd not been here long, but already she wondered why she had let Talon talk her into coming here rather than staying with him.

The young Gardevoir Morph reached the partially door that lead to the Headmasters Room. Red eyes locked with the Alakazam's. Khai gave a subtle nod of the head. Aisa knocked three times, beofre pokeing her ehad around the door.

"You wished to see us headmaster?" She asked quietly.

[Halofire]

The Headmaster had been sitting at his desk, filing papers, his Arcanine daemon sitting quietly by his side. As Aisa spoke he suddenly raised his head in surprise. "Ah yes, you must be the new student! I am Mr. Rogers, the headmaster of Suitay Academy. Come in, come in." He stood up as he was speaking and walked to the door, opening it further for Aisa to come inside. His daemon nodded welcomingly at the pair, inviting them inside the room.

"Now, now... Do you know what kind of Pokemon you would like?" he asked.

Oh, A dog! Aisa smiled at the Arcanine daemon. She'd always thought that, If Khai hadn't been trapped in Abra form, He would have ended up as a Canine. Talon had said the headmaster was a good person... Aisa was starting to think he might have been right.

It was Khai who answered the Man's question. "We were hopeing you might have a" Khai's voice was interrupted by Aisa's "Shiny!" She was referring to the mirror she had just spotted, rather than an Alternate coloured pokemon. Though in fact, when she and Khai had been discussing what to get with Talon, they had agreed that if they could, They would get a 'shiny' pokemon.

"We are looking for a Canine or Vulpine, Maybe a Psychic type." It was understandable that a pair who represented the two sides of psychic power might be drawn to chose a Psychic type, and at the same time not wish to chose one. "As Aisa said, we were hopeing you might have an Alternate colour so some variety." The Gardevoir Morph, completely distracted, was tapping on the mirror to see what sound it made.

[Halofire]

"Shiny, huh? I have a few of those." The headmaster said, turning to a filing cabinet behind him and easily pulling out three Pokeballs. He obviously knew his collection quite well. Each of the Pokeballs opened with a shower of crimson light, which formed into three Pokemon.

The first was a shiny Vulpix. Her golden fur shimmered as she trotted up to Aisa cautiously, sniffing her leg while staring at Aisa's. She was very cautious.

The second was a shiny Houndour. He ran in circles excitedly, glad to be free of his Pokeball prison. When he finally stopped, he turned and gave Aisa a doggy grin.

The last was a shiny Natu, which perched on the desk quietly and looked at the people and Pokemon around him. He was quite calm.

"If you want to see other Pokemon, I'd be happy to oblige." the headmaster siad, leaving the Gardevoir morph to her decision.

It took a moment, for Aisa to notice that Pokemon had been released. The moment she did, the young gardevoir morph patted the head of the little golden Vulpix who had come over to sniff her hand. She then looked over at the other two pokemon who had been released. A blue furred houndour had just finished spinning in circles and was now looking at her with a rather silly expression on his face, and a yellowish green Natu sat on the edge of the of the desk, looking at them all, and unreadable expression on its face.

Aisa settled on the ground, her legs curled to one side. She considered the three pokemon as she gently patted the houndour and the vulpix. The Natu was calm, which would be an asset, but he didn't seem that friendly. The houndour's active nature was an asset, but he was a bit to friendly for her tastes. The Vulpix though... She was friendly but Cautious, a good mix in Aisa's opinion.

What do you think Khai? The 'morph turned red eyes to her Daemon. The Alakazam took the few steps to be standing behind her, his hands resting on her shoulders. The houndour is far to friendly. He seems the kind to go up to anyone, regardless of the danger they may pose. The Natu is to calm, I can't get any kind of reading on him. The Vulpix though, She's friendly without being overly so, and Cautious, which is a good thing when one considers our enemies. The only question, Do you want the Vulpix? Or do you wish to ask if he Will show us another? Aisa considered for a moment I was thinking about a growlithe... but to honest, I think that the fox fits us better than a puppy would for our first pack member. Maybe if we work hard we can find a growlithe.

Red eyes turned back to the vulpix in her lap. The part Gardevior gently patted the little Fox in her lap. She smiled and then looked at the headmaster "If she Agrees, We'd like to take the Vulpix." and odd expression crossed her face, as if she expected the headmaster to change his mind and refuse them at any moment. She turned back to the shiny Fox Pokemon 'What do you think little one? Want to come with us?"

The little fox gave Aisa a long stare before nodding slowly. This student seemed friendly, and although many people had wanted her, she had never wanted to go with anyone else. They were either too greedy, too young, or too insensitive. And yet, this one wasn't even human. She supposed that her journey would have to start sometime.

Mr. Rogers watched this exchange before returning the other two shinies to their Pokeballs. Unlike most students, this one had given the Pokemon a choice, something most students hadn't. He supposed this was the reason why the fox Pokemon agreed. He handed the Pokeball of the 'morph's new team mate to Aisa, as well as her starter items, which he had already prepared. "Enjoy your time at Suitay Academy." He stated simply, nodding his head once and then returning to his desk.

Aisa Smiled as she accepted the Pokeball and items, A rare sight since the headmaster was a full human. She gently patted the Vulpix and then Set her on the ground as the 'morph stood up. "Ready to go?" Vulpix nodded.

All three headed to the door. Aisa and Kahi steeped out with nary a look backwards. But vulpix stood for a short time, before following her new pack.

Words floated back through the open door "Come on then. We'll have to find the perfect name for you before we do anything else"
