Character
Name: Kamari Kasai
Age: Fourteen
Gender: Female
Pokemorph: N/A
Appearance: Here you see a girl who was always small for her age. Only four foot eleven with smooth, pale skin only broken by her numerous freckles on her cheeks and nose. Her eyes are a light, chocolate brown, her pupils huge and round. Kamari's eyelashes are unusually short, barely visible.
This young girl's hair never seems to cease to grow. It reaches to the middle of her back, only because she cut it right before she started her journey. The ends are tinted dark blue, and gradually blend into the natural shade of her hair: a light brown, naturally highlighted with darker and lighter brown streaks. Her bangs are almost as long as her hair, and cover her right eye completely. Kamari always leaves her hair down, showing the only slight wave to it. The most she's ever done is use her signiture blue bandana, which she wears daily.
Kamari usually wears a short-sleeved light blue and pink shirt. The design seems somewhat like the evening sky, even more so when you see the light gray moon and golden stars. The bottom of her shirt is slightly ripped, but she pays no notice to that. After all, your going on a journey where according to the anime you stay in the same outfit for years. Kamari also wears long short, that stop right below her knees. They are an off-white color, also ripped and torn no more or less than her shirt. They bear no design on them, for she knew that they would be ruined beyond repair at the end of her journey.
The soon-to-be trainer wears black running shoes, which are the only ones that don't seem to be ruined or about to fall apart at the seams. Near her toes on the shoes are two white stripes, so far only covered in minimal dirt. She also wears a dark gray belt, for who can guess what? None other than her team she plans to build. The girl carries a black backpack with one strap to carry on her left shoulder like a messenger bag. It has a pattern of light gray swirls that runs all around the fabric.
Personality: Kamari has the energetic, cheerful attitude of someone much younger than her. She was always known for never letting her spirits get down, and always cheering on others. Even though she knows it's impossible, she walks into every challenge thinking that she will win. No matter what, she will do anything to pull through.
This girl was always one who like company. Almost everything she's done has been with a friend, may it be Pokemon or human. She's always believed in "the more the merrier" and will gladly travel with someone, even if she has to go far out of her way. Because of this, she started her journey four years late, but never regreted it.
Kamari will never see faults in others, and that is sometimes a fault of itself. No matter who they are, she can see good in everyone, though sometimes this leads her to danger. She doesn't deny her own issues, and will try to fix her mistakes.
She surely is a talkative one, on the rank of irritating. Like stated before, if she senses your annoyance, she will do anything to fix it.
History: Kamari was six years old, laying on her back in her bed. She gave a joyful laugh as her housepet Vulpix jumped up and curled up by her feet. With her right hand, she stroked the fox Pokemon on the back, sighing happily. She thought out loud, "You know what? I'm gonna be a breeder when I grow up. The best in Hoenn! I'm gonna raise every type of Pokemon there is, and I'll be world-known, even all the way in Orre and Kanto!" The Vulpix gave a happy purr, as if it could understand her.
Two years later, Kamari's older brother Max was standing at the door. She was crying, "No! Big brother, please don't go! What will I do without you? Please stay!"
He gave a small chuckle, ruffling his little sister's messy hair. He was twelve years old, more than ready to start his journey. "Now don't you worry, Kamari! I'm going to go to Professor Birch and get a Mudkip. He'll eventually be the strongest! But you've got to promise me one thing. Alright?"
The little girl nodded, wiping her eyes furiously. Only recently they had moved to the Enera Region, hence the reason Max waited so long before starting his journey. They now lived near Pine Labs, so it would be even easier to start their journeys.
Max knelt down so he was evenly matched with Kamari. "Listen. You're going to be an awesome trainer. You're going to blaze through the gyms, and you're gonna battle me one day. Right before the League. Y'hear? Com'n, you've got to give me your word."
She dipped her head as her dreams plummeted. No more breeder, she decided. She was going to be a marvelous trainer. Responding louder than needed, she responded, "I will! And when we meet, I'll beat you, Max!" He nodded with a final glance, then headed out the door.
The moment had arrived. Kamari turned ten at last. She quickly woke up her parents, her daemon also as hyper as can be. "I'm gonna be a trainer today!" Though she still had the heart of a breeder, she knew this was what she was meant to do.
Her mother stood up drowsily, her Glameow daemon right at her feet. Soon both her parents were fully awake, saying their good-byes to Kamari. After a final hug, she exited the house, not planning to return for a while.
On the way to Pine Labs, a Houndour intercepted her path. He jumped up frantically, obviously trying to get Kamari's attention. She cocked her head slightly, asking in a gentle voice, "What is it?" The Houndour did nothing more than whimper, then ran into Route One. Kamari followed, leaving Pine Labs behind.
After a "game" of chase, Kamari finally caught up to the Houndour. She calmed it, then carried it back to her house. The Pokemon's problem was clear. It was a starving orphan. After four years of nurturing, and training by her mother, the Houndour was nursed back to health. Now, it was a strong, healthy Houndoom.
Now it was Kamari's time to go. For all she knew, Max could already be waiting for her at the league, it's been six years already. She sest off, her Daemon and the Houndoom at her side. Once she exited the house, Kamari gave the dog Pokemon one final hug, then released him. He held her gaze for what seemed like years, then bolted off, leaving only Kamari, her Daemon, and the Pine Lab.
Career: Trainer
The Daemon
Name: Reiki (Ray-key)
Form (If settled): Electrike
((Will edit with modified sprite once made))
Favourite Form/s (If not settled): N/A
Appearance: He looks almost like a regular Electrike, if it weren't for his different color pattern. Instead of the usual yellow and green pattern, his is yellow and blue, that of a Manectrike's. His tail is also significantly larger than that of a normal Electrike's.
Personality: Just like Kamari, Reiki is a hyper daemon and it's hard to bring his spirits down. He's more serious than Kamari, and is the one who keeps her in check. He will atleast think things through for a few moments before barging into everything. Reiki will keep watch for Kamari when traveling, and usually is the one to question her sense of direction.
Although he can be the focused one of the bunch, he has is moments where he is as careless as Kamari. He'll gladly bring up the spirits of others and help those in need. Though unlike Kamari, he has a short temper and is known to snap at others, especially in a time of troubles.
