ooc// Strangest attack I've EVER seen.
ic// Surskit punched the air as Enki fainted on impact with the Bubble, doing a little dance of celebration. The Water type was very happy. He grinned, squealing with delight. He was happy and celebrating. Yes! See, he was strong! He was scary! Haha! He'd shown them! He was so cheery and jubilously celebrating that he didn't quite notice that an unconcious form was still flying through the air. Enki struck him from behind, and he was fainted before he hit the ground. Huh? Random! The Surskit would have never have seen such a strange event coming! He lay still, open to capture.
Surskit was defeated! Enki gains two levels!

Aisa and Khai stared at the strange turn of events, as the Surskit was knocked out by Enki's unconscious body. Kali let out a short bark of laughter and walked over to sniff the zigzagoon and the Surskit. ~I Think You should probably put Enki back in his pokeball~ The shiny vulpix shook her head and sneezed at the amount of water soaking her friend.
The Gardevior morph grabbed Enki's pokeball off her belt and returned the unconscious Zigzagoon to the container. Then she and her Alakazam Daemon turned to look at the surskit. "What do you think?" Aisa asked. "Well Its certainly strong. Its personality might be a bit of a drawback, but at the same time, If we can get those instincts working for us, it would be a massive gain to our pack." Khai tapped his fingers against his armour as he weighed the pros and cons of catching the duel typed water/bug.
Kali looked up at the two ~I think you should catch him. He's a strong fighter and will make a good protector~ the small yellow fox rubbed up against one of Aisa's legs. the Gardevior morph patted the Vulpix on the head. "Alright then" She pulled on of her spare pokeballs from her bag and enlarged it. "Well... Here goes" Leaning down she tapped it against the surskit. All three, Pokemorph, Daemon and Pokemon waited anxiously to see what would happen next.
OOC: *Laughs* I couldn't help it. The idea came to me while watching one of my mothers ragdoll kitties. He decided to stop moving in the middle of running after one of the other kitties, and his momentum kept him going a good two to three feet until he hit the wall. The scene just begged to be written.

The Pokéball, as what usually happens when thrown at a fainted Pokémon, swept up the Surskit in the glowing red light with ease before it dropped to the ground. The struggle then really started. The Pokéball shook madly. Surskit's determined personality was giving him an upper hand in this situation, and he was fighting for all it was worth. However, as Aisa would have learned at school, there is only a slim chance that a fainted, low-level Pokémon will be able to escape an ordinary Pokéball. There was proof right before her now. The Pokéball's shakes grew less violent, more soft, as Surskit ran out of energy and slipped back down into a sleep. The red light on the button went out with a soft ping at the same time as the Pokéball fell still.
Surskit was caught!

"Awesome!" Aisa chirped, as she held the pokeball that now contained a Surskit. Clicking the button, she let out the bug/water pokemon. The little bug type looked up at gardevior morph that had captured him. ~Well..... I guess this isn't too bad. Least I got caught by someone who understands me~ Aisa smiled and knelt down in front of the blue bug type. "Welcome to the Pack. We'll need to come up with a name for you...." She looked over at Khai. The alakazam daemon looked thoughtful "How about Anil?" Aisa nodded and looked over at the Surskit. He thought about it and then bobbed up and down in his version of a nod ~Sounds good!~
"Alright. now My name is Aisa. The Alakazam over there is my Daemon, His name is Khai. The Shiny Vulpix, Her name is Kali. The Zigzagoon you fought is called Enki and....." Aisa suddenly stopped. "Oh Crud" She fumbled at her belt for a moment, pulling out another pokeball. She touched the button, the beam of red light, forming into a dark purple weasel like pokemon.
"Cora, I am So sorry for leaving you in there so long" Aisa looked at the weasel. It just nodded ~Thtas alright Aisa. Unlike some pokemon, I actually quite like being in my pokeball. I find it relaxing~ "I'm still sorry" Aisa said. Khai looked at the confused looking surskit "Thats Cora. She's a pokemon known as Ansalon." Anil nodded.
Aisa looked up from petting Kali and Cora, to look at Khai and Anil. "Shall we continue on? Enki's bruised and tired, but not particularly hurt. As long as he's in his pokeball, He'll be fine, Though we'll want to take him to the nurse later" Khai nodded, "No point lets a little battle ruin our day"
Aisa smiled and Stood up. She then reached down and lifted Anil up and placed him on her shoulder ~Wah?.... Hey!.... This is kind nice up here, But why?~ Aisa smiled as the Surskit settled himself "I don't want you accidentaly getting hurt by someone not watching where their going. Plus, If your up here, You can help me pick out a good place to sit" The Surskit nodded. ~Over there looks good~ He pointed one leg at an area surrounded by bushes on two sides and the lake on a third.
Aisa looked at Kali and Cora who both nodded. Khai nodded as well 'Guess that's where we're headed then"

As Aisa and her Pokémon moved over to the spot where tall grass and other shrubs and things hid them view on the lake's edge, a small pair of eyes were watching them. It was a Pokémon all right, hiding in the undergrowth. It darted back inside there as it saw Aisa moving into the spot. The Pokémon watched her as she and her Pokémon began their rest. Should it make a move? Should it be seen? But... maybe not? Maybe it should stay hidden? No, it would show itself! The girl would probably be fun!
The Pokémon poked it's head out the plants, not that there was much of a neck for it. The Pokémon's body followed, and four stubby legs carried it to stand in front of Aisa. It was a Lotad. The Pokémon seemed nervous, lilypad quivering. ~Oh, he-hello. I'm... Lotad. Wh-who are y-y-you?~ it asked anxiously. Like a lot of Lotad, it's voice was quiet.

Aisa watched as a small pokemon came out of the bushes around them. It looked like a giant lillypad with a small body underneath it. She blinked several times, Before Anil whispered in her ear that it was a lotad. ~Oh, he-hello. I'm... Lotad. Wh-who are y-y-you?~ the little pokemon's voice was soft and hesitant, as if it was re-thinking the wisdom of coming out here. Aisa smiled reassuringly at the Lotad.
"I'm Aisa" The gardevior Morph said "The Black Armoured Alakazam over there is my Daemon Khai" The daemon looked up and waved, beofre going back to petting Cora, not at all worried about his human, since Kali was sitting in her lap, and Anil on her shoulder. "The Ansalon is Cora" Cora looked over as well, but soon turned her attention back to her talk with Khai "This is Kali" hse petted the Vulpix in her lap, as the shiny fox wriggled over to look at the Water Weed pokemon. "And Anil" The Surskit bobbed up and down in a hello.
The 'Morph looked the pokemon over. Lotad sure were interesting looking. "What are you doing out here?" She asked it "I'd have thought a pokemon like you would out swimming in the lake on a day like today."

Lotad smiled and nodded in greeting to each Pokémon that was introduced, but his smiles were nervous ones. He looked at Aisa, thinking an answer to the question. There was a reason why he wasn't swimming... he knew the answer... what was the answer, anyway? Oh, right. ~I w-w-was swimming, yes. I-I came into the grass, I did, w-when I saw you coming. I-I-I don't really like c-company. G-get scared easily, I d-d-do.~ he stammered.
Then Lotad sighed, sitting down. Well, sitting down for him wasn't much different to standing, but still. He was sitting. He shook his head sadly. ~I s-see a few t-t-trainers here. They all like adventure. I w-wish I c-c-could be brave.~ he said sadly.

Aisa smiled kindly at the Lotad. She could feel how scared he had been and how sad he was now. "What do you mean your not brave? It takes far more bravery to do something when your scared than it does when your not." She ran one had down Kali's back "And don't try to tell me that you weren't scared, I am a Gardevoir. I can feel everything that those around me feel." Her smile turned somewhat sad "Some times its very scary, to feel what everyone else feels as if I were the one feeling it." her smile brightened up considerably though when Kali whined softy and nudged her hand. ~But we are here now. We will keep an eye on you~ Aisa patted Kali "That is true, I have my pack now, To look after me when I'm over whelmed." She held out a hand to the little lotad "What about you young one. Do you have a family to help you out?"

Lotad shook his head. ~I wish I did, but my parents agreed that we sister could get caught, and a few months later she did. My brother was challenged by a few trainers, but beat them all, got stronger, found it easier to beat them, and now he's evolved. My parents, both Ludicolo, gave him one of their Water Stone's they collect. Now they're fully evolved, they've migrated to route four to get more training. After that, I think they were going to keep moving along the routes, stopping at every point of water to train. I would have gone along with them, but... I was scared of stronger Pokémon~ Lotad sounded pretty sad at the last part.
The lilypad Pokémon looked at Aisa. She had said he was brave, but he didn't think so. If he was brave, he'd have challenged loads of trainers and got strong just like his brother. He sighed. ~I'm just too scared to fight. Now I'll never get stronger, and they'll be really disappointed if they visit. Hang on... wait! I'm not stammering! I'm not terrified of you! Could... you... give me... a battle?~ he asked, finding it hard to form the last word.

Aisa nodded as the Lotad told his tale. That did explain a lot. She smiled as the little pokemon relaxed and stopped stuttering. She could feel as his fear lessened and then went away entirely. This was good, Aisa hated it when pokemon feared her.
And then the little pokemon asked for a battle. A smiled graced Aisa's face, crinkling the corners of her red eyes. "All right then." She scanned over her team. Anil and Enki were out, Having just fought against each other. Lotad was protected for Kali's firetype moves by his water type half, and Energy ball would be inefficient against the Lotad's grass half. Which left her with "Cora?" The purple fured Weasle pokemon shifted in Khai's lap to look at her trainer ~Yes Aisa?~ "How's you like to have a battle against Lotad here?" Cora blinked her grey eyes and looked the Lotad over ~That sounds as if it would be an acceptable form of entertainment~
The Ansalon slipped out of Khai's lap and quickly moved over to stand in front of the Lotad. Aisa shifted Kali onto the ground and stood up, brushing the dirt form her green arms and grass stains from her white 'Skirt'. Khai Moved over to stand at her side, Kali jumping up to balance on the Alakazam Daemon's black shoulder armour. "Alright then, You both ready?" Aisa asked. She soon as she had an affirmative, She said "Ok. Lotad, We'll let you have the first move" Cora watched the Lotad carefully, waiting to see what he chose to do.

Lotad watched as Aisa chose her Pokémon. An Ansalon, right? He wasn't very familiar with that species; he was pretty certain that they could only be found in Enera, though. He didn't know much else about them, and so wasn't sure about what attack he should use. This was because he did not know what type she was; would his attack have no effect at all? Would it be super effective? He did not know.
Shivering in fear, Lotad decided just to move regardless of what he thought the outcome could be. He used his strongest move; and Astonish attack. He wasn't sure whether or not it would have any effect at all on Cora; if she was a Normal type, the Ghost type move would have no effect whatsoever.

Yowch! Cora shook as she was hit by the astonish attack. This Lotad was better than he said, it seemed, using a ghost type move against the psychic type Ansalon. "Cora! Tackle him!" Aisa called from the sidelines. The purple furred pokemon nodded and rushed straight at the Lotad in her tackle attack.
On the sidelines Aisa turned a pokeball over and over in her three fingered hands. When this battle was over, She thought she might ask the Lotad if he wanted to join them.

Lotad grinned in delight as the Astonish worked well. It worked! It did hit Ansalon! And it was super effective, too! So, that meant that Ansalon were probably Psychic types, because they were coloured like them and had this weakness. The little lilypad Pokémon was hit by the Tackle, sadly landing upside down on top of his lilypad. Stubby legs waving frantically but uselessly, the Pokémon gave a wail of distress.
Just when he was thinking of giving up, Lotad had an idea as to how he could get back up and land an attack at the same time. The Grass and Water type's lilypad, pressed to the ground, glowed green and began to ripple. Then, all of a sudden, Lotad shot a few feet into the air, took aim on Cora and fired; and Absorb attack. He changed his aim as he came back to the ground, the right way up this time.

Cora yowled as the grass type attack hit its mark. She hissed at the Lotad, lips pulled back to show her sharp teeth. She stood like that for a moment, before rushing the wild pokemon, mouth open in a bite attack.
Aisa smiled as the Lotad executed a picture perfect Absorb attack to flip himself back upright. This certainly was getting interesting.

Lotad's tiny little legs pumped as hard as they could, but it was no use. The pathetically small and stubby legs of Lotad were made to enable him to blend in with his surroundings and swim well, not run fast. Cora's long legs easily caught him, and the little Water and Grass type let out an almightly howl of pain as her strong jaws locked around him. Yow! That was a very powerful attack, more powerful than anything he knew right now!
The lilypad Pokémon tried to shake the Ansalon off, moving in sudden, jerky movements. It looked a little strange, but he thought it was working. It wasn't, but at least it took his mind of the pain leaking his health away. The Lotad made an odd choking noise, preparing to give up. Then he thought about it. His parents and siblings wouldn't give up, no. So why should he? Astonish... that was super effective! Lotad used an Astonish, hoping to get Cora away and hurt her at the same time.
