It was a bright warm early morning weekend. With her leg mostly healed, thanks to her Gardevious half's recuperative powers, Aisa had decided that it was time to go and explore the areas around the Academy once more. With the nice weather and warm sunny morning, Aisa decided bring the group down to the lake. Between the location and the weather, She was hopeing to find and recruit one of the more unusual water pokemon to join her and the pack.
Kali, wasn't so sure about this idea. Being a fire type she disliked the water. She'd spent the entire trip walked beside Aisa, and muttering under her breath about how bad an idea it was, for her to go near the water. Khai and Enki on the other hand thought it was a great idea, the Alakazam daemon and the Zigzagoon happily chatting about various subjects.
When they reached the lake, Aisa and Khai stared in wonder. They'd never seen that much fresh water in one place before. Having spent most of their life in a lab, Where the only water came from a tap, and then in a dense forest where the water came form small ponds, A place like this was truly impressive.

A Pokémon danced happily over the water, his spindly legs barely denting the surface. He floated easily, darting too and fro, unseen thanks to his camoflauge. The Pokémon grinned, twirling. The strange ripple he made was pretty obvious, however, and he froze in fear as he saw an ominous, dark shape below him. The water was pretty deep. Even though he was a Water type, it would be good to be dragged under. After all, Surskit like him were made to stay on the surface, and he would surely die if pulled deep under because of the pressure. All of a sudden, the water didn't seem too friendly. The Surskit gave a squeal of alarm, racing over at lightning speed to escape. He reached the edge. He'd made it. Sighing in relief, he lay down on the dry land.
Oh, maybe he couldn't relax yet. There was a trainer! A trainer and her Pokémon! And he knew they weren't always good! Surskit tried but failed to look fierce as he stood up. In a ridiculously high pitched voice, he shook a fist at Enki and Kali. ~Engarde! Come on, whimps! Fight me like a man! WRAAAAGH!~ he yelled. He really wasn't that scary.

She tried not to, she really did, But Aisa couldn't help it. she started laughing, and fell over. It it hadn't been for Khai's quick reflexes, she'd have probably ended up on the ground. Kahi started chuckling as well, when he saw what had put Aisa into such a state.
A small blue and yellow blob on long spindly legs, was shaking one of its front legs at them, and challenging them to a fight, in a very high pitched voice. Still giggling uncontrollably, Aisa looked over at Kali, with a slight nod of her head they both yelled back "But We're Girls!". The two fell over giggling again. Khai just rolled his eyes, used to these kinds of moods form his human, though he did find it strange to see the shiny vulpix sharing in them.
Enki on the other hand, had taken up a position in front of the three. He'd quickly worked out that he should be the one to face the Surskit. Kali was a fire type, and shouldn't be put up against a pokemon that knew water type moves from hatching. Aisa was a Pokemorph, not a true Gardevior, and Khai was a daemon, And so neither of them would be considered eligible for this battle.
The Zigzagoon watched the combination bug and water type carefully. If it did nothing then he wouldn't do anything, But if it went to attack, he would be ready with a tackle.

Surskit didn't like it when Aisa started laughing. He really, really didn't like it. He started jumping up and down, yelling furiously, but it only seemed to make them laugh harder. What was wrong with those people? Why weren't they fighting him? He knew they were girls! He wasn't stupid! But what did being girls have to do with anything? Besides, that had been aimed more at Enki than anyone else! Surskit glowered at the girl and her Vulpix.
Well, if he wasn't getting an answer from them, it was time to turn to the Zigzagoon. The racoon seemed ready to fight. Good. A challenge! Surskit grinned, bowing. ~Hello, good sir. My glove is off. Do you accept the challenge?~ he asked very much in the manner of a medieval English knight, which challenged others to fights by throwing their gloves on the ground. This Surskit, however, didn't wait for an answer. He simply spat a load of Bubble at Enki, which were surprisingly strong, and yelled, ~Too late!~

As the Bubble attack came at him, Enki gave a low pitched growl at the Surskit, and shook his tail in a tail whip attack. Hit by the bubbles, Enki was pushed back a way and his fur was soaked. He shook his head slightly to clear the impact, and then ran at the Surskit in a Tackle attack.
Aisa and Kali had recovered form their silliness and were now watching the battle intently, as Khai kept a look out for anyone trying to approach them.

Surskit watched carefully as Enki was hit by the Bubble, feeling his Defense stat slip at the Tail Whip. He made a note of that, aiming to be sure to be more careful at Enki's attacks in this battle. The Water type was pleased that the Bubble safely hit, but didn't want to sped too long celebrating or anything. His entire focus was on Enki. As the Zigzagoon came in for a Tackle attack, Surskit becan calculating when to dodge. He wanted to perform a special strategy he'd thought up which he should put into practice now. As Enki was almost upon him, the Surskit leapt up in what might be a Quick Attack if it were an attack. He leapt into the air, and, in a split second, found himself firmly clutching to the racoon Pokémon. Yes! He was right where he wanted to be. His plan was all falling into place. Now he was at a close range, there was little Enki could do to stop him attacking. Surskit used a Bubble attack while still riding the Zigzagoon.

Aisa and the rest of the group stared as the surskit flipped up to ride of Enki's back. The zigagoon raced in circles for a moment, bucking and twitching to try and throw the bug type off. He paused for a moment, as Aisa yelled "Scrape it Off!". The raccoon pokemon knew what to do as soon as he heard his trainer call out.
Enki raced for a tree, Using his tackle attack to get there faster. he could hear the Surskit taking a deep breath, likely to launch another bubble attack on him. With it on his back, He wouldn't have a chance to dodge.
Just as the bug type launched its bubble attack, Enki jumped into the air, Twisting and slamming his back into a tree. then he relaxed, Allowing the bubbles to hit him, and hopefully push him away from the wild pokemon.

Surskit was crying out as Enki slamed his back into the tree. He left his Bubble with what had hit, the amount of his giving a small space though which he crawled. Enki should not have done that. Oh, no no no. Surskit hated the Zigzagoon now, and was likely to never forgive him for that. After all, if you small a bug into the wall, it could die! True, the bug was roughly a similar size as Enki, but still! Surskit had had some bad experiences with squishing. He growled, angry.
Surskit was going to make Enki pay, oh yes he was. Staggering about as though he was recovering from the smoosh, Surskit was actually getting Enki lined up with the tree. It was likely to fool almost anybody. Then, without warning, Surskit shot directly at Enki and the tree. He had gone straight from groaning and staggering around to attacking with an accurate Quick Attack. Smart. He'd pulled a bluff and was now likely to hit Enki.

Aisa winced when she saw Enki almost squash the bug type. That wasn't exactly what she'd meant when she told the Zigzagoon to scrape it off, though it seemed to have worked. On the other hand, the Surskit seemed rather angry now, Which was not a good sign.
As she watched the bug type stagger around, Khai whispered "Something's not right there" His words were rather prophetic, as at that moment the Surskit stopped pretending and rushed Enki in a quick attack.
The attack hit hard, and pushed Enki onto his side, and backwards several feet. The Zigzagoon pulled himself back to his feet, shaking his head to get himself back into focus. He let loose with a loud Growl, Hopeing to lower his enemy's attack, and then rushed the other pokemon in another tackle attack. The zigzagoon was rather hurt and terribly annoyed. The Cheering of Aisa, Khai and Kali from their place on the side lines encouraged him.

Surskit grinned as Anki was hit by the Quick Attack, pleased that his agile form and good acting had earned him a hit. He was doing well, in his opinion. True, Enki had hurt him a lot by attempting to squash him, but hopefully he might be able to turn this around still. His spindly limbs might not be too strong, but they were quick. Speed was always very useful against larger enemies, especially slow ones. The Water and Bug type moved back, aiming to dodge by darting from one side to the other. Unfortunately, Zigzagoon weren't called Zigzagoon for nothing, and he was caught out in an easy hit. He staggered, for real, as he got to his feet. He was looking kinda tired right now.
Surskit decided to take action immidietly, before Enki could get too far away for a good hit now that his Attack power had been weakened. Choosing not to use a Quick Attack again so he wouldn't have to get close to Enki to give him the easy attack again, he shot another spray of bubbles in a Bubble attack.

Enki had been hit by almost every attack launched at him so far. So it was about time that he actually managed to dodge one. Seeing the bubble attack headed his way, the Zigzagoon dashed to his left. Running as fast as he could he circled around behind the Surskit and launched himself at it with another tackle attack.

Surskit growled, an odd noise to be coming out of such a small, harmless-looking Pokémon. Enki'd dodged his attack? No fair! Well, he supposed that, when you counted it up, Enki had been hit three times, him twice (although one of those was so painful it should count for two in his opinion) meaning that in truth Enki had been hit more. So yes, fair. The Surskit watched as Enki moved in a Tackle. He tensed his legs, ready to spring over the top of the racoon- but was too late. Surskit was hit, and he hadn't liked it too much. He was on the ground, but he pulled himself up. He then shot towards Enki in another Quick Attack.

Once again Enki was hit by the quick attack, His body pushed back a fair distance. The Zigzagoon was breathing heavily, his fur badly messed, and dust settling onto his body, mixing with the water from the Bubble attacks to from a thin layer of mud. "Hang In there Enki!" Aisa called. The zigzagoon nodded and pulled himself shakily to his feet. A few more hits like that and he'd be out o the running. But then, The Surskit wasn't looking much better.
"Tail Whip and Tackle again Enki!" Aisa yelled, the young gardevoir morph feeling rather concerned for her friend. She hoped this ended soon. The zigzagoon wagged his tail at Surskit and then rushed it again in a tackle.

Surskit was, true, pleased that his attack had hit. He grinned as he saw that the Zigzagoon didn't have much left in him. This could be over quickly! Then again, there wasn't too much left in him, either. He couldn't let Enki know that, however, because he knew that then the trainer would attack even harder. The Tail Whip lowered his Defense. Oh no. That wasn't good! Now attacks would hurt even more! Surskit attempted to leap to safety, but his nimble legs proved a hindrance for once as they became unfortunately tangled. He was hit by the Tackle.
Surskit managed to keep on his feet, untangling them. He was panting too, now. He fixed Enki in his eyes. This was his target. His main target. If he hit it, he was one step closer to being stronger. If he didn't, Enki would probably strike again, defeating the Water type. Surskit felt too weak to move his aching limbs in a swift Quick Attack, so instead he simply shot another Bubble attack at the racoon themed Normal type.

Enki couldn't let the Surskit win, no, no, no. The zigzagoon was desperate to show Aisa and Khai and Kali how good he was. Taking a deep breath he raced for the Surskit in another tackle attack. He saw the bug type preparing another Bubble attack, But he was too close, going to fast.... Enki hit the attack straight on, no chance to dodge or do something to lessen the damage. Though He fainted as the bubbles hit, His body continued onward towards the bug type, the momentum of his tackle attack barely affected by the bubbles that had hit him and caused him to pass out form the pain. Would the Surskit dodge the zigzagoon's flying unconscious body? Or would it be hit?
