(I had to start somewhere?? ^^;)
The sound of humming raced ahead of the walking figure, a noticeable male figure. An angry looking daemon in the form of an Espeon walking on the left side of him, a Croconaw on the other side, holding one eye on him. It didn't seem to bother the male however as he looked around, adjusting the glasses perched on his nose from time to time, peering around with a small frown. The small lines that had formed already in the corners of his eyes betrayed that he laughed often however. He looked at the left side as the hissing voice of the feline sounded up ~I don't see what we search here.~ The man sighed, as if he had heard this sentence often and most likely this was the case "Because I need to find more Pokémon.." The man countered "I really want to find a Larvitar and Ralts!" He sounded exited as he wriggled with his toes in the boots he had on his feet, pausing in his step. The feline sighed again ~Larvitar, here?~ Sarcasm tinted her voice and he frowned "The mountains." He countered again, frowning more. The Croconaw didn't offer anything, knowing he would be ignored.
The man finally tripped, although the crocodile Pokémon next to him tried to prevent it from happening. ~Chriiiiis~ The shrill voice of the feline sounded again, harshly ~Can't you stay on your feet for longer than ONE MINUTE!!!~ He rubbed the back of his head, wincing lightly at her voice as he chucked nervously. He then proceeded to ignore her and peered underneath the bushes that stood next to him "Ralts?" He asked, questionly. Both pokemon sighed and looked at each other, the Croconaw shrugged helplessly then ~It is him.~ He finally offered, making the Espeon hiss again in anger. Chris looked up, unaware that he was being discussed by the two Pokémon "Hey, Layla." He said "Can you help me?" He then turned his head "Duin?" The last name was unneeded, as Duin was already searching for the Pokémon that his trainer wanted to get his hands on now. To both males it didn't occur that said Pokémon most likely didn't come here as it preferred another habitat above the sea-air and sand and salt water. Layla could do nothing more than sigh as she searched herself, half-heartedly. She was more concerned about her other part than a.... Pokémon!

As a researcher, Chris would be extremely interested in finding out all about Pokémon. Therefore, as an interesting crack resounded from behind him, he might be interested. However, if he were to turn around, the cracks would be coming from behind him. In short, this meant that the cracking was coming from something in his bag. The sound of a young Pokémon's cry soon acccompanied it. Put two and two together, the crack and the cry, and you got that the egg he had was hatching. This was a chance not to miss! He could witness and study how a Pokémon, a weak newborn, managed to break the egg!
Another thing had happened thanks to the egg. A Pokémon had krept up, interested. She stared at the bag, bouncing in excitement. Her soft pink fur was wet with seawater. She let out a long, low, dumb note, almost as if she wasn't entirely aware she was doing so. A Slowpoke. She was another interesting creature for Chris to study.

He did notice, the sound send chills through his back as he looked around. He searched for the source, noticing that it came from behind him he turned, but since his backpack was still on his back he didn't found the source. He frowned again, but the feline Daemon next to him came to the rescue ~Your backpack, Chris.~ She said, almost sounding like she forced herself to be so calm against her other part. He nodded slowly as if he understood. The hand, opposite, of Layla reaching out to pet her. He touched however the pink-furred head of the slowpoke, not that he noticed something different.
The Croconaw did however, his chest puffed out. He didn't know why his trainer dared to touch someone else than Layla and him! He stalked forwards on short paws, jaws parting ~Hey!~ He shouted.
Chris had finally shrugged of his backpack and had lifted the egg up out of it. He took his notebook and scribbled everything he could up on it. His eyes wide with curiosity and delight. He nearly bounced, he refrained though and instead pushed a strand of dark hair behind his ear, smearing some ink in the process. The feline Daemon stood next to Duin and rolled her eyes. Thus great was the shock when Chris deemed it okay to look up. He blinked and promptly raised a hand to wipe out his eyes, looking again he still noticed the same, Duin and Leyla.
So who or what was he petting? He looked sideways and nearly screamed -oddly- girl like and jumped upright. His eyes wide, he composed himself however and prodded the pink body with his fingers as he crouched back next to the body, writing everything about the slowpoke as well. He then turned back to studying the hatching egg.

When Chris had been petting the Slowpoke, her eyes half closed and her mouth curved upwards into a grin as she relaxed. He. Then the hand went away. Slowpoke (slowly) looked at Chris, confused. Well, she would have been confused about anything. She blinked veeery slowly, then felt a prod in her side. A few seconds later, she reacted. ~SLOW~ she yelled in a voice higher pitched than most Slowpoke. However, she soon forgot about it and started blowing on the sand, giggling as it moved about. The egg cracked along the top, which quickly deepened as more smaller cracks appeared around the sides. The shell of the egg was soon covered in such cracks, until finally the Pokémon inside succeeded in shattering the strong wall. It was a little Happiny. She was definately female, for Happiny can only be female. She looked at Chris, squealing in joy. ~Papa!~ she cried, holding out her studdy arms for Chris to pick her up. Chris got a Happiny from his egg!Name:Species: Happiny Gender: Female Level: 5 Ability: Serene Grace Attacks: Charm, Pound, Copycat, Metronome(Egg move) Personality: Name: Species: Happiny Gender: Female Level: 5 Ability: Serene Grace Attacks: Charm, Pound, Copycat, Metronome(Egg move) Personality:

(OoC: Awww *giggles* Nice, cute post Birdy ^^)
He blinked slowly, then smiled and full out laughed. He picked up the pink pokemon and studied it with gentle fingers "Amazing.." He breathed, one of his hands coming again to push the glasses back on his nose. His head fell to the side and he pursed his lips, nodding to himself. He held the Happiny in his arms and looked at the Slowpoke again, before bending down to the Daemon and Pokemon that had come closer ~Hello.~ She greeted the newcomer, placing her nose briefly against the Happiny. The Croconaw just stood on the side and gave a small wave.
"Watch her for a second." He spoke to the Espeon, who nodded as she rolled her eyes and circled the Happiny, before placing herself down. Chris turned back to the slowpoke and blinked slowly, it was the first time he met a wild pokemon, sort of. He always watched hatchlings in a day care or a trainer's pokemon. He preferred them wild, they where at their best then and more beautiful, at least, to him they where. He had winced slightly when she yelped and crouched "Sorry, I didn't want to hurt you.." He spoke "I.. ehh..." He trailed off and bit his lower lip, rubbing the back of his head again.

Slowpoke slowly moved her head so it was cocked to one side, as a dog does sometimes. ~Poke?~ she didn't have a clue what he was talking about. Silly human mumbo-jumbo. Slowpoke sure weren't too bright, were they? She even seemed to have a very limited understanding of her own language! Chris' daemon could tell him that the translation of the Slowpoke's 'slow's and 'poke's was 'slow' and 'poke'.
Slowpoke then seemed to notice that the Croconaw was waving. At first she blinked dumbly, then she raised a paw and slowly waved back. However, she hadn't bothered changing how she spread her body weight, and so crashed to the ground. She sighed, then began to snore. Wait- surely she hadn't falled asleep?!

Chris blinked slowly as the Slowpoke seemed to fall asleep. He then noticed that they where in the middle of a small road. He let out a small sigh and adjusted his glasses, with a groan he crouched through his knees and took hold of the pink pokemon carefully "Duin?" He questioned again, the Croconaw moved forwards, this time rolling his eyes and picked the Slowpoke up as well, having some difficulties as his arms weren't really made for lifting something up that wasn't food.
Layla just watched both of them, standing up and prodding the Happiny out of the way as both males approached them too closely ~He really should look out..~ She muttered, making the Happiny look up in brief confusion ~Wha--?~ The Espeon Daemon looked over and gave a brief smile ~Don't worry..~ The pokemon nodded and looked as Chris and Duin moved the pokemon further, before placing it on the ground.
Chris straightened, or would have, if his back wouldn't have cracked half-way "Ow." He rubbed the spore spot, before moving himself so that it would crack and that he could move himself upright further, looked over carefully by his two companions.

Slowpoke dozed on through the whole lifting time, not seeming to want to do much. Well, she wasn't the most facinating of Pokémon. She made a snuffling noise in one point while Chris and Duin were lifting her, but other than that, she was completely out in a deep sleep. Presently she rolled over, muttering something from her dreams which sounded a lot like, ~Pi is 3.14159265358979323846264338327950288... yes...~ OK, maybe all four of them were hearing things at the same time, but what kind of Slowpoke knew pi to thirty-five decimal places? Perhaps an investigation would be needed for this. Perhaps Slowpoke were a little like Psyduck? They could be intelligent, but they'd forget it?

The Croconaw didn't really notice, the Espeon however did and raised an eyebrow. She hopped closer, the Happiny following, Layla didn't mind and looked at the Slowpoke confusedly ~Espi?~ She said her name like a wild Pokemon did, just adding more to the fact that she was confused. Chris patted her briefly and crouched down as well and looked at her before at the wild slowpoke "What is.... ehh, saying?" He half-stumbled his words ~Something about PI..~ She answered, he blinked "Curious.." He searched his bag to take another piece of paper and a new pen, forgetting that the other one was behind his ear once more.

She coughed in her sleep, rolling slowly onto her back. Her little stubby legs waved helplessly in the air, and her mouth slowly twisted upwards into a dull grin. She was murmuring something again. ~No... not the bananana... anything but the banana! Fight! Attack!~ she shouted the last part, and suddenly opened her eyes at that moment.
It seemed that Slowpoke was unable to tell her dreams from reality; following her sleepy cry of 'attack', she lunged at Duin, the first Pokémon she saw. She wasn't using any attack in perticular, but it was still very angrily attacking, possibly painfully.

Duin's eyes widened, he didn't expect this. His chest swelled lightly as he braced himself and gathered power to aim an attack back. It didn't cross in Duin's mind that he just could sidestep the attack and let her run further. The slowpoke hit him and maybe he now understood what it meant to be hit by a train, he staggered back, own attack forgotten for a moment before his jaws parted. He lunged for the slowpoke, hoping to catch her into a Bite attack.

Slowpoke smiled as she hit Duin, pleased with her efforts. Good, she had been the one to deliver the first blow. The element of surprise hadn't failed her. It seemed as though this Slowpoke had come over a complete change of mind and mood during her sleep; interesting and odd, no? And now Chris would see her fighting style. She didn't even notice a Bite attack approaching, crying out in pain about three seconds after the Croconaw had released her.
Slowpoke reacted back slowly, using a Water Gun. Slowpoke might be worth Chris catching to investigate further; when they evovled, they combined with a Shelder. If evolving at level 37, the Shellder bit their tail, allowing them to walk upright. If they were traded with a king's rock, the Shellder bit their head and they became intelligent.

He was interested, he wouldn't be a researcher if he wasn't. He looked at Duin who kept attacking in what seemed a blind rage, Chris sweat dropped while Layla tried to get some sense in the enraged pokemon. Chris finally gulped and looked up at Duin "Oi!" He shouted, the crocodile stopped and turned his head to look; Chris took the chance to step forwards and get behind them "Alright." He muttered "Let's do this.." The Croconaw nodded and then looked at the Slowpoke once more "Use Ice Fang!" Chris shouted, the Croconaw parted its jaws, fangs growing larger as ice wrapped itself around and then he dashed forwards, delighted at this challenge.

Slowpoke's eyes were unfocused, one pointing to the left while the other to the right. The only sign that she was in fact interested in the battle was that she smiled slowly as her attack hit the Croconaw. She didn't move a muscle as Duin's ice coated sharp teeth clamped down on her body. She frowned as crystanine blobs of ice formed over her pink coat. ~Oooow.~ she said, a few moments after the attack hit. Although she wasn't too aware of things, she also didn't really feel much pain. Perhaps this Pokémon would be a stronger battler than she seemed.
A strange change came over Slowpoke then. She seemed to get... angry. Her eyes flashed purple, then closed. It seemed... she was using a Confusion attack.

Chris was scribbling up everything he could, even the reaction to the confusion one. He didn't warn Duin in his excitement however. The Croconaw didn't really know what to do, though he decided that another Bite attack would be a good choice; though, if he used another Ice Fang he had the chance to freeze her. He hesitated before he rushed forward again with ice-coated fangs.
The Daemon let out a soft sigh and looked at the Happiny, who in turn looked in confusion around. She then turned her head to Chris, wanting to speak up before she was patted. She wanted to hiss in an angry way, before she gave in to the touch.
