The judge stood ready, beside the centre of the battlefield. A strong Arcanine was at her side, ready to sort things out if it went wrong. She waved a flag and blew a whistle. "Let the battle commence!" she called.

Maeve and Astralon stood on their side of the field. Just for this Maeve had returned Tamala to her pokeball. With a grin, the Green eyed, Red haired trainer looked down at her Espeon daemon and then across at her opponent.
"Tamala!" She yelled out "Lets Win this!" She tossed the pokeball high into the air. With the traditional popping sound, it sprang open, allowing the red beam of light to shoot out, Pooling on the ground into the shape of a Pylenti. Tamala turned to face the opponent, waiting patiently for the other pokemon to be sent out.

Kamari stood proudly across from Maeve. A Cubone stepped out from behind her, nodding his head slightly. The trainer laughed and said, "Are you ready Kuno?" The Cubone nodded again, the skull on his head rattling. He walked forward, his bone weapon at the ready.
Reiki sat next to Kamari, his eyes gleaming with excitement. The daemon looked across the battlefield. He was almost trembling with energy. The Electrike daemon yowled out, ~Come on, Kuno, you can do this!~
