Battling Rules

Pretty routine stuff, people. Birdy, tell me if I got anything wrong.

Right. Just a couple quick notes.

Each turn (eg post) you may either:

- Use an offensive move
- Use an item
- Switch Pokémon
- or Flee, for all you cowards out there.

In addition, you may also either:

- Dodge the opponent's move (no more than three dodges in a row please)
- Use a stat-raising move on yourself
- or Use a stat-lowering move on your opponent


This is just going by observation, mind. Tell me if you see any problems, Birdy. Basically, this can all be summed up as

GOOD: Sandshrew dodged the opponent's attack. He then used Slash. (Short but I'm too lazy to elaborate)

BAD: Sandshrew dodged. He then used Slash, followed by Earthquake, Fissure, Guillotin and Hyper Beam. (Lol longer than the bad one)


Yeah, you get the point. Have fun!

I'm not pretending to be the administrator. I believe you will find that nowhere does it lay out any of the regulations for the powers of the various titles. Any of the mods around here could feasibly do whatever they want because, hey, you haven't told them not to. Also, as a member of staff full stop, I see it as my duty to fill in any holes in the site. Let's be honest, I've already contributed stuff like the Tournament system; you had no problem with that (in fact you kinda fiddled it to not exactly how I envisioned it but what's a little plagarism between friends?), so why a problem with filling in holes in how the rules work, grumpehpants?


Also, I'm kind of thick. Is there some sort of, like, significance to placing full-stops between your words when it's gramatically incorrect? You know, a secret code or somefink?

Yeah, I guess you're right. You made like, two suggestions, so I suppose that means you can make rules. It's just that the other mods don't feel the need to play admin... sorry for getting angry at you, Alpha.

Anyway, I guess I'd better make up rules about staffies. -_- I hate this sometimes. I try and make things fair, but the people I'm helping never notice and all that happens is everyone else gets really upset. So, so, so sorry! I'm being so dumb to tell you off for something as simple as making a rule! I really hate having to remind people of the rules!
