Sulteron now had not only her fingers crossed, but her toes and her twin tails, too. Never before had she been in such an anxious situation! Battles were so exciting, with their twists and turns. This one had totally absorbed the attention of the young girl and her daemon. Jizu was bouncing on his feet. He hoped that they would win; after all, Grass types were known for having low Speed stats, and Lenyi could probably survive the collision if it went badly on their part. There was nothing they could really do now, at any rate. They could just stand and watch the battle unfold.
Lenyi could see what Chikorita was doing. She wanted to hit her on the head, didn't she? Well, there was a way to counter this, right? The Fire type was moving too fast and had gained too much momentum to stop now, but there had to be a way... her wings. They would stop her attack if she shielded her head with them, but she held them out either side of her. She used this to move herself faster and slower again at random intervals, so it would be pure luck for Chikorita if she managed to strike the Blaredog. Then came impact, the resulting smoke covering the scene. Who was victorious? Chikorita? Lenyi? Or possibly both? Well, they were about to find out...

It was all luck, but luck was not on the gym's side this time. By a cruel twist of fate, Chikorita hit just before the head, which happened to be the tail, which had the most flame out of all, which was really bad for Chikorita. As the smoke cleared Chikorita was on the floor, clearly fainted, that was a strong Blaredog.
Elika walked towards her after returning the pokemon and placing it gently back in it's place. "You are very talented young Sulteron, I happily give you the Silav Town Gym Badge (don't know the name of it, so...) to show that you are a trainer capable enough to defeat me, which doesn't happen often" She said with a smile.

ooc// I oughta get round to making all the badges... well, I'll do the sprite later, but I'm naming this badge the Floral Badge.
ic// Sulteron grinned in delight, as Jizu breathed a sign of relief. She... she had won! Oh, happy day! She had beaten her first gym! The Espeon 'morph returned a weakly smiling Lenyi, walking over to Elika and taking her badge. Wow... it was like a dream come true. She'd earned the Floral Badge. She, Sulteron, the weirdo, the odd one out, the evil scientist magnet. She had earned a Pokémon League Badge. She wasn't so weak now, was she?
Staring at her badge in disbelief as she left the lab, she headed straight back to the Pokémon Centre. It would be night soon, but she had a room there. From what the nurses had said, her Suicune (it was still odd to think that) would be fine by the morning. Once Segonami had been collected, she would head out to Route Three; a desert. She'd be sure to bring lots of water. Her hand reached out and slid back the blue sliding doors of the red building, at the same time reaching into her pocket, drawing out her badge case, and slotting her first badge safely into place. The flower's petals glinted, and she shone with pride and happiness as she tucked it back into her pocket again.
Walking up to the counter, the nurse was a different one to the one she'd seen earlier, not that there was much change between the different Nurse Joys. Probably a different shift. Anyway, the girl rested Tayeko and Lenyi's Pokéballs on the counter; her other Pokémon hadn't fought, so were still full of energy. The nurse healed them quickly and easily, and then Sulteron walked up the stairs to the rooms.
Taking her key, the girl walked along until she found the correct room. Slotting the key in, it turned easily and she walked in. The room was fairly adverage, with a bed for people and six beds for Pokémon. There was also a bathroom, and a section of the large room she was in held kitchen counters, a dining table, a sofa and a small TV.
By the time it was dark, Tayeko was snoozing in a Pokémon bed, but Sulteron was lying awake, Jizu in his favourite sleeping form- an Eevee- by her head. She couldn't help but worry about poor Sego. Was she all right? Would they cure her? She hoped so, she really did. She chewed her lip nervously. ~Don't worry, Sulteron. I'm sure she'll be fine. Come on, let's get some sleep.~ Jizu assured her, closing his eyes. Sulteron fell asleep as he did.
When the first light krept through the window, Sulteron jerked awake, Jizu taking a little more time, yawning and stretching. Tayeko opened one eye sleepily. "Come on. Let's go see if Sego's all right." Sulteron insisted. The Absol yawned. ~Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, Sulteron.~ he advised her. The Espeon 'morph reluctantly waited a little longer to give Tayeko a bowl of Pokéblock, but she barely ate a spoonfull of her cereal. Jizu, once he had finished his, tutted, so she ate a little. She didn't have much of an appitite.
Finally, after what seemed like too long to Sulteron, it was time to go to check on Segonami the Suicune, the one she'd found shot by Team Tsuasa in Route Two. The girl took the stairs two at a time, Jizu racing after her as a Tailow. Tayeko padded down at a liesurely pace, but walked alongside them as they made their way to the emergancy room where Sego would be waiting. Sulteron knocked on the door. "Hello? It's me, Sulteron. I'm here to see how my Suicune, Segonami, is doing." she said in a nervous voice. Hopefully the wolf would be pretty much recovered. She wasn't sure what to expect, but Jizu and Tayeko both felt that, although weak and probably with a worsened immune system, Sego would be fine.

The nurses had been working on the Suicune non-stop, and monitering him the rest of the time. They weren't going to let a Legendary pokemon die at their Pokemon Center, even if it did have a mostly fatal wound. But the Joy family was very talented at what they did, and their Chansey Daemons, all named Joel, were just as talented. They finished treating Segonami and just let him rest, the great Wolf of Water would be fine.
When Sulteron asked the Joy who was currently on shift about the Suicune she smiled "Segonami will be fine, He's very lucky you were around when you were" She told the Espeon 'morph "And you're very lucky too, especially since he's in a pokeball now, which means that you have captured a legendary with no badges, not something that happens often. He's resting now though, so we can't let you take him just yet, but only for another couple hours, you should be able to leave by lunchtime" She said with the bright smile not leaving her face.

Sulteron sighed a great sigh of relief. "Oh, thank you!" she said, not helping but smile. That made her so happy, that she could collect Segonami and be on her way by lunchtime. She nodded to the nurse, then walked out, not wanting to disturb their work.
"You hear that, guys? She's gonna be fine!" Sulteron squealed in joy. ~Told you.~ Jizu said with a smirk, walking at her side as an Arcanine. ~What should we do?~ asked Tayeko. "Go shopping, maybe?"
A collective groan came from the Pokémon and Sulteron hesitantly added a bit on the end. "For TMs." that got a better response from Tayeko. They entered the blue roofed building, sent some time wondering about the various shelves and selecting items, and walked up to the counter. "I'd like these, please." Sulteron said, placing a jumble of TMs on the counter. She had Shadow Ball for Tayeko, Iron Tail for Denkou, Ice Beam for Segonami, Silver Wind for Tetayamissimus, and Sludge Bomb for Bugsy.

The clerk went through the items "5 TM's?" He asked to confirm (You never told me a price, but going with everything elses price I'll say $5,000 apiece) "That will be $25,000 please" When Sulteron gave him the money, he cringed slightly seeing the brightly colored Espeon fur, but 'morphs were becoming common, it was starting to worry him. "Have a good day" He told her waving her out politely.

ooc// I've deducted my own moneys, not to worry.
ic// Sulteron smiled, taking the TMs and walking out. There was still over an hour left until she should head back, so she headed over to a small grassy area. Too small to be a park, there were some trees, flowers and other plants. She sat down on a bench, and released all five of the Pokémon she had with her. Just for now. Bending down, she quickly gave them each their TMs, before relaxing, watching them play and scamper about.
Before long, they'd got into trouble. Hasha the Leovine had ran about in a hyperactive manner, and ended up racing up a tree before he realized quite what he was doing. He raced along a branch, before stopping abruptly; he had become wedged between the branch and one above. He wriggled forward, which made things worse. Lenyi couldn't fly that high, and Teya wasn't strong enough to push him free. Oh, dear. Hasha was stuck up a tree.

ooc// kk, thankees, it saves me problems
ic// thankfully the grassy area had more than just one person in it at this time. An older man, who was quite obviously a trainer, was relaxing near the tree, unfortunately he was sleeping. Thankfully his Slakoth Daemon was not. They took turns resting. The Deamon noticed the Leovine in the tree and shook her human awake. "George" She said to him "Have clamp help the poor dear" The man yawned and picked up a pokeball "Yes Jo" He responded as he released the Victreebell. The plant pokemon used a vine whip to bring it down. "Now, what is a Leovine doing in Silav town, they're rare, oh well, a good Grass pokemon is always usable" George said bringing out another pokeball, presumably to attempt to catch this already caught pokemon.

Hasha smiled, sighing in relief as he felt a Pokémon's vine tug him free. Phew! Thank goodness. He felt his feet gently touch the ground. He grinned at the man. ~Thankies! None of my teammates could get me down, but you could!~ he grinned happily. The Leovine was very thankful to the Victreebell.
Sulteron, who had been watching the whole ordeal, came over, crouching down beside the Grass type. Jizu was an Eevee on her shoulder. "Hasha, are you OK?" she asked. Hasha nodded, tail wagging. ~Thanks to the man, of course!~ he said, nodding towards the man, his Slakoth daemon and Victreebell. Sulteron grinned at him. "I'm Sulteron, Hasha's trainer. Thank you very much for helping him!" she said.

George saw the 'morph come over to the Leovine and realized what happpened. Abashed, he put the empty pokeball away. "It wasn't a problem miss, I'm George by the way, and this is Josephine, but I call her Jo." He said indicating his Daemon. "It seems you have a strong group here, have you thought about fighting Elika, the leader of this town?" He asked kindly

Sulteron nodded to George and Jo, before introductucing herself and the Eevee smiling over her shoulder. "I'm Sulteron, and this is Jizu." she said. "Oh, and these are Tayeko, Denkou, Hasha, Lenyi and Teya." she added, gesturing to each of her Pokémon in turn. She didn't mention Sego; that'd just cause unnecessary questions.
At the comment, Lenyi puffed herself up proudly, and Jizu gave a little giggle. "Actually, I've already challenged Elika; look!" she grinned, showing him her hard earned badge as proof before tucking it safely back into the case in her pocket. "I'm guessing you have a strong team too; Victreebell are fully evolved. Have you ever challenged any gyms?" she asked.

"Once" George said, his face dropping "A few years ago. I used to be an agricultural breeder, which means I bred plan pokemon to help me with farming, I decided to start on a journey because I was confident in my Plant pokemon, but Elika taught me otherwise fairly quickly. I've returned after continuing my career and training for a couple years. But someone was already in the gym when I got here, I presume that was you?"

ooc// Gold, could you tell me how many levels I can have from here(click)? 'Cos it doesn't feel right to appoint my own levels.
ic// Sulteron listened to his tale. A breeder, huh? On a farm, too. So, they'd be Pokémon like Miltank and stuff? Oh, wait, to help him on a farm. So stuff like Houndoom to round up Mareep, Rapidash and the like? He had Grass Pokémon, too. Just Grass types? A number of questions she thought she probably wouldn't ask buzzed around her brain. She smiled.
It seemed he had only yesterday arrived back from that training, in which case the person in the gym would have indeed been her. She gave a grin. "Yeah, that would most likely have been me. Elika'll probably be free right now, though, no-one was in the gym and not many people were about when I passed it not too long ago. Do you know her or are you going to challenge her?" she asked. After all, he was clearly stronger than Elika; she had an Oddish, he had a Victreebell. Perhaps he wanted to stop by for a greeting or something.

George seemed to read Sulteron's face, little girls all had questions painted clearly when they were puzzled. "I raised plant pokemon so I could grow food faster, that type of farmer." He then heard her question about Elika and saw her unspoken one again, his niece had trained him well for dealing with young girls. "I'm going to challenge Elika, but not with Clamp. I've trained a few other pokemon for that purpose."

Sulteron, assuming that Clamp was the name of his Victreebell, nodded with a smile. She checked her watch. She should probably be off; it was nearly time to her to collect Sego from the Pokémon Centre and move onto the next route. "Good luck against Elika, then, George. I'd best be on my way." she said, again leaving out the reason. She didn't know if George was good or bad, after all, and didn't want to trust a stranger. She smiled to him, waved, then walked off back to the Pokémon Centre.
Once inside, she swiftly found her way back to the room again. She wanted to be out on the desert route as quickly as possible, and so needed to pick up Sego quickly, too, although she wouldn't mind if the Nurse had to explain something which she needed to do; after all, it was her duty to keep Sego well. "Hello, you told be to come back around now..." she said.
