"Well, here we are. Silav town," Jax said to Furnblaze, who was trotting along at his feet as always. "So we made it. The first obstacle has been cleared," Furnblaze cheered, drawing a chuckle from his Trainer. "All right, enough cheering. Let's get you and the others healed up, then buy some supplies for the next route."

A girl had her head rested against a wall, and seemed to be asleep, despite the fact she was standing up. Then, when Jaxamar spoke, she seemed to snap out of her stupor. Well, that's an undertatement. More like, she jumped, looking around wildly for a moment before seeing the cause of the voice. She could have jumped again, for he was a Pokemorph, and a Blaziken at that. Not like she was prejudiced, but Pokemorphs still unnerved her. All the same, she had been waiting around for someone to come who needed a guide around the town.
She walked up to Jaxamar. "Hello, can I help you find anything, sir?" She said, keeping her voice normal.

Jax looked around and nodded. "Thank you, that's most welcome," he said, smiling, "I need guidance to the Pokemon Centre and the Pokemart. I'm healing my Pokemon and stocking up on supplies before continuing on my journey. I'll likely be staying overnight, but that's OK."

"Umm... okay, follow me!" The strange girl led Jax through the town, past all the greenery the town was known for. Her daemon, a Leafeon, followed at her heels, occasionally glancing back at the morph to make sure he was still following. After a few minutes, she turned onto a road where the Pokemon Center was clearly visible.
"There's the Pokemon Center, and the Mart is just down the road. Enjoy your stay!" The girl turned and sprinted back along the way they had come, her daemon close in pursuit.

"She seemed nervous," Gareth commented drawing a slightly exasperated look from Jax. The Trainer stepped to the doors, and, as they whooshed open, he stepped inside. "Nurse Joy?" he asked at the counter, looking around for the lady.

At first, Nurse Joy could not be seen. Then a Chansey poked her head from around a corner, then turned and called, ~Nurse Joy! Nurse Joy, there's someone waiting at the front desk!~ Nurse Joy appeared from behind the Chansey, saw Jaxamar, and quickly said, "Oh, sorry about that, there were a few Pokemon I had to check up on. What can I help you with?" She went behind her desk, and the Chansey followed her. It seemed the egg-like Pokemon was the Nurse's daemon.

"My Pokemon need healing and revitalising," Jax said, picking up Furnblaze and placing him on the desk, then pulling out the three Pokeballs that he had filled on the journey from Pine Village. "It would mean a lot to him if you did," Gareth said quietly, causing Jax's eyelids to lower for a moment.

The nurse nodded. After all, this was her area of expertise.
She examined Furnblaze, noting the injuries he had sustained, while her daemon placed the Pokeballs on a machine behind them, which glowed.
"Your Pokemon will need to stay overnight, that machine works wonders, but it takes a while to work. Meanwhile, your Vulpix will need a little bit of extra care, I can do that, though. Will you spend the night here?" The nurse asked, picking up the Vulpix gently.

Jax nodded, "That's fine. I have to pick up some supplies anyway."

The nurse nodded and disappeared from sight as she left from her desk and rounded the corner, taking Furnblaze with her. The Chansey quickly followed, leaving Jaxamar alone in the Pokemon Center once more.

Jax sat down on one of the benches, closing his eyes gratefully. "Tonight, we rest," he said to Gareth, "Tomorrow, we pick up supplies and continue on our journey."

The next morning, both Jax and his daemon were fast asleep on a bench in the Pokemon Centre.
(this is just to move things along, because the thread stalled)

<ooc> Oh yeah... sorry 'bout that ^-^'''
<ic> The town was beginning to resume its cheerful business. People and Pokemon alike walked down the streets, and things seemed peaceful. Inside the Pokemon Center, the lights were still shining, casting a clean white light over everything. The nurse rounded a corner, rubbing her eyes and yawning, and her daemon followed quickly, tittering concernedly.
~Nurse, you really shouldn't be up all night like that! What if something big comes up and you need to really be focused for it?~ Then the both of them saw Jaxamar on the bench, sound asleep. The nurse decided it would be best to let him sleep, but all the same, she went back down the hall and returned with Furnblaze in her hands. She set him down on the floor, and he shook himself, obviously feeling quite refreshed. The nurse also took Jax's Pokeballs from the machine and laid them by his bag, then returned to her desk, where she returned to working on records until Jaxamar re-awakened.

Jax's eyes fluttered open, and he found himself staring into Furnblaze's face. "Good morning!" Furnblaze chirped happily. "Good to see you're feeling better," Jax said, rummaging through his bag and retrieving his pokeballs, which he attached to his belt. He looked over at Nurse Joy and inclined hid head. "Thank you, Nurse Joy," he said, sitting up. Gareth stayed where he was, making Jax sigh. He picked the currently-serpent-shaped daemon up and draped him over his shoulders.

<ooc> Wow... short post is short D:
<ic>The Nurse looked up from her desk.
"Thank you, and have a nice day!" she said in that routine kind of way before returning to her paperwork.
