Alexander chuckled dryly when Jim had gotten hit on the head by the Farfetch'd, as did Thistle, who seemed quite pleased at having Pip join them. Masquerade rubbed her wings together, and looked over at Alexander, as if asking if they should continue on Route Two.

Alexander nodded, "Are you ready, Thistle?" Thistle stood up and agreed. Alexander then returned her back into her Poke ball before moving onward on Route Two, leaving Jim to solve his own problems. Masquerade nudged Alexander nicely on the arm. "You did a good thing there, Alexander." Her rusted voice was pleased, "I almost saw some of your old self." Masquerade simply meant the time before Alexander had become a Trainer, when he was still the Detective, before his Mental Breakdown. And maybe she was right, Alexander was too arrogant to admit it.

Jim growled, feeling rage pickle in his mind. Kat rested her hands on his armm shaking her head. He nodded, teeth clenched all the same. He was pretty angry at Spoink for doing that, but he knew he shouldn't get mad again. Nothing good would come from that, nothing. The trainer sighed, reaching out to the Spoink which had hit him. "Don't worry. I'm here to help you, to make up for what I did wrong." he told her. Her eyes narrowed, but she allowed him to touch her, relaxing a little.

Jim smiled, turning to Alexander. "Thanks, mate. You've taught me about how to treat Pokémon, and look what that's led to. Sure, Pip left, but Aggra is loyal, and I even managed to stroke Spoink like this! I never knew that you could just talk and befriend Pokémon like this, I always thought the only way was to fight them." he admitted during his apology, then went on, "I suppose everything's all right now. You can continue with your journey now. I'll stay here with Spoink, then continue myself." he smiled, turning back to the pig and tickling her under the chin. She giggled.
