The forest relaxed her. She was not surprised over it. The silence around her, well.. there were no sounds around her that betrayed humans around, only the sounds of Pokemon running around. She didn't mind those, they wouldn't bother her if she didn't bother them, most of the time.
She smiled softly as Silas hummed lightly, the Skitty laid in her arms dreamily. The kitten still restoring from the fight he had with the Chingling. Her free hand stroked the soft fur on his head softly, the Cacnea was in his ball. She didn't know where he could perch on, surely not in her arms or shoulder where his needles could prick in her!

A Pokémon was sniffing about, scratching at the cold earth. Nope, nothing. It moved away, finding still nothing. Oh, dear. This wasn't going so well, now, was it? Mice hibernated. It's friends had gone into hibernation, altough one had been caught by a trainer because they could offer warmth and food. This little Pokémon needed to find food before it hibernated, or else find a trainer, which it wasn't so keen on.
Hearing a sound, the Pokémon scurried off to the source. Something that big was likely to be a human; not many Pokémon around here were as big as that. The Pokémon ran into a bush, racing through. It could see a trainer, up ahead. Good. It emerged from the bush in from of Lilly, smiling. It was a Pichu. ~Hello, trainer. Do you have any food to spare? I need to get some together for hibernation, but there isn't much around. If not, then... then give me a battle.~ it asked Lilly. Yes, a battle. It would fight in this battle, and if it lost, then the trainer would give it a home.

She froze at the sounds, thus the Pichu that came out of the bushes wasn't such a big surprise. The Daemon looked at the Pichu as well, listening It asks for food or either a battle, dear one. He spoke, settling comfortable; still as polite as he always was. She blinked slowly and then looked at the mice again. She crouched slowly and digs into her bag "I'll look for something.." She muttered "Don't expect anything..."
The Skitty sensing the challenge, slipped from her arms and onto the ground. He stretched lazily, before blinking at the mice, slapping every common sense into the air it darted forward; seeing a new play-mate ~Play!~ Lith shouted out, tail weaving like that of a hyper dog.

Pichu grinned to Lilly, pleased that she was even looking to help it. It's attension was then grabbed by Lith. At first, it seemed a little frightened by the Skitty; presumably from the usual cat/mouse relationship. However, the little Electric type soon grew more confident as it saw that Lith simply wanted to play. Thank goodness. In hindsight, it could see that Lith wouldn't have fought, since he looked tired, probably from some previous scuffle. Pichu began to play with the cat Pokémon.
All was well, until something bad happened. This time, it came in the form of a Starly. The bird cawed from somewhere nearby, before swooping low and grabbing a screaming Pichu in it's claws. It flew up high, then dropping the poor Pokémon, who fainted on impact with the ground. Starly then started to try and harass Lith.

Lith hissed instantly and swiped at the Starly as it came low enough. Lilly straightened, before taking a step forward. Silas held her back however with a simple look I suggest you first help the Pichu, dear one. He murmured, before hopping toward the fainted Pichu. Lilly followed him after a last look to Lith "Try your best, Lith." She said "Use tackles and growls." The pink Pokemon nodded and growled at the bird.
Lilly then picked up the Pichu and checked it over for worse damage. She couldn't help but feel concerned. She then turned her attention back to Lith as he still tried to tackle and growl at the Starly.

Starly felt it's Attack stat lower as Lith Growled at it. The bird glared at him, then saw he was attempting to Tackle it. What?! The bird was struck, falling to the ground and twittering in alarm and pain. It got up, holding up it's wings for mercy. ~Wait! Stop! Don't attack me, and don't come any closer! I was only trying to protect my babies!~ it- well, obviously a she, now- cried. Huh? A protective parent, it seemed. Why was she so protective, though?
Pichu looked as though it would be all right. Just a little rest, that was all. After that, it would most likely be as right as rain. The little mouse stirred, eyes opening a fraction. It saw Lilly, and gave a smile. Wow, she was a nice trainer. She'd only just met Pichu yet she cared.

Silas heard the Starly and Lith did as well, both stopped with what they where doing; although Silas translated to Lilly what the Starly had said. She frowned at that and looked at it "I'm sorry." She muttered softly, although it was a guess if she really meant it or not "We didn't want to disturb your kids." Silas moved his wings lightly and translated it again for the Starly. He felt maybe a bit annoyed, but it was better than constant fighting, at least it was in his eyes. Lilly only felt suspicious, maybe the bird was protective, but she hadn't strayed from the main path, hadn't she?
Lith just mewled and hopped back to Lilly, trying to jump into her arms; only pausing as he spotted the Pichu ~Huh..~ He let out, blinking slowly in what appeared as slight confusion.

Starly wasn't done yet. She puffed up her feathers, hopping closer to Silas. ~Oh? How can I be sure of that? That's what other trainers have said, and they still took my little babies. He wasn't even ready to fly yet, but he still took him.~ she gave a sigh of longing. Oh, so that was why. One of Starly's children had been captured by some trainer.
Pichu looked over at Lith. Why was he confused? It did not know. It just knew that this trainer was surprisingly warm and comfortable to snuggle into. The young, tired mouse dozed off to sleep.

She heard the words in silence as she heard the Starly's words and a soft sigh escaped her. She wasn't in the mood to do anything else as she nodded lightly "Alright, be assured.." She murmured to it; Silas already translating "We won't hurt your babies, we just wanted to pass..." It was maybe sad that she lost one of them, but that was live. There was always something to lose. She did know the advantages for having a fly type, but she didn't need one yet; at least, as far as she knew.
Lith jumped on her shoulder and peered down ~hmm..~ Lilly turned her head to look at the pink kitten, before following his gaze toward the Pichu. She raised an eyebrow, before taking a small step back, leaning against a tree. She didn't know what she had to do now.

A Pokémon, without warning, came up behind Starly and gave her a sharp peck. The Starly gave a cry of alarm. That was the last straw! She fluttered off to protect her children. Meanwhile, the Pokémon behind her stepped forwards to show itself. This Pokémon was a Natu, a Flying type and a Psychic type. Natu watched Lilly with an unblinking stare, shuffling it's wings. ~A battle, perhaps?~ it asked.
Pichu wriggled in excitement. It couldn't wait to see this- a real live trainer battle! Lilly had been great so far, and Pichu knew it would love to watch her battle.

She didn't need Silas for this one. She gazed at the Starly as she fled and then turned her gaze to the Natu. A smirk crossed her lips lightly and she nodded, Lith wanted to pounce forward, but a sharp command of Lilly held him back. He looked startled at her "I'm going to use Salch now, Lith.." She looked sorry for a moment, before taking the Pokeball and letting the Cacnea out.
~Cacnea!~ The cactus Pokemon hollered out. He stretched lightly, before leering at the Natu with an angry look, this bird was his adversary? She swallowed lightly "Salch, use Leer!" She shouted, the Pokemon did as ordered. His gaze narrowing once more, this time in the hope of lowering the Natu's defense.

Natu watched, expressionless, as Salch used the Leer. It was true that it's Defense stat was being lowered by this, of course, it just didn't really make the bird feel too nervous. After all, why would a staring attack make a staring Pokémon become unnerved? It now would take more damage when hit, which was something which made the bird briefly look a little upset. That done, it continued to look emotionless.
It was thinking about what move it should use. Should it go for super effective? Or should it test Salch's strength for future reference with a simple and weaker attack? Deciding that testing the Cacnea's strength would be more important, Natu fixed Salch with it's stare, sending a weak beam. This was the Ghost type attack called Night Shade.

Salch let the attack hit him, before shaking himself lightly. He seemed to brush it off, although it had been a hard hit "Salch!" Lilly, behind him, shouted now "Use Absorb..." The orbs of light formed at his arms, before shot at the psychic bird. He still found it a great attack, wound the other and get better of it himself.
Lith, having overcome his shock by now, seated himself next to her and watched. He was still ready to jump into the fight at the command of Lilly. His eyes looked at the bird, the Pichu was maybe a new playmate, but he found this more of a prey, maybe because the Natu looked more like a dull-green ball.

Natu's wings gave a flutter as it attempted to dodge the Absorb. Unfortunately for it, it was not fast enough. The Absorb attack struck its mark, the green orbs going inside the bird's skin. It watched as they whizzed back to Salch, returning a little of the energy he would have lost due to the Night Shade. Natu clicked its beak, a little annoyed. If Salch could heal himself, that would make things a little harder for the round green Pokémon to win the battle.
Natu then made its move. Lauching itself into the air, it shot towards Salch. This time, it would use the super effective Peck. The Cacnea was a Grass type, after all, known for having a good Defense stat. Natu would have to hit him hard, and was there a better way to do it than with a stylish Peck? Not really.

The Cacnea's eyes widened as the Natu flew through the air and to him. He braced himself against the attack, but still cried out in pain as the peck hit him. He felt the strength leave him of a sudden at that and swayed on his feet. Lilly hissed softly, fearing for him "Salch!" She again shouted out "Use another Absorb!" She yelled, hoping that this would get him somewhat healed again.
The Cacnea moved a little, before focusing on the bird. His arms raising, the balls forming again; but ever so slowly as if he couldn't gather enough energy for an instant attack.
