Levelling I will give you three examples of battles to give you an idea of how Pokemon level up on Enera. Let's say you have a Growlithe and the opponent has a Shinx;
Growlithe - Shinx Lv. 15 - lv. 17 Growlithe wins! Growlithe gains three levels! So if a Pokemon defeats another Pokemon of two or more levels higher than it, then it will gain three levels.
Growlithe - Shinx lv. 15 - lv. 15 Growlithe wins! Growlithe gains two levels! If a Pokemon defeats another Pokemon from one level lower than it to one level higher than it, it will gain two levels.
Growlithe - Shinx lv. 15 - lv. 13 Growlithe wins! Growlithe gains one level! If a Pokemon defeats an opponent of two or more levels lower than it, it will only gain one level.
In all these cases, Shinx gained no levels because it lost.

Evolution
Pokemon which evolve via levels will evolve in the same way on Enera. However, some things are a little different.
Eevee Eevee evolve the same for Vaporeon, Flareon and Jolteon, but to be an Umbreon they need a Moon Stone, Espeon needs a Sun Stone, Leafeon needs a Leaf Stone and Glaceon needs a Shiny Stone.
Location Pokemon which need locations will evolve with a Star Piece.
Happiness Pokemon needing Happiness will evolve with a Heart Scale. Milotic will evolve in this way as well.

Other Attacks such as Fient and Counter will work, regardless of whether the opponent has used the required attack or not. The attack will be a little weaker than otherwise, but will still work. In the case of Counter etc, the opponent will aquire any lowered stats or status conditions that your Pokemon got in the last turn. Fake-Out will work on any turn of a battle, but will only have a 30% chance of making the opponent flinch. All one-hit KOs are reduced to very powerful attacks. It's just not fair if you can go about defeating everything without trying. Dodging... now, this might be a bit of an issue. I don't care how fast your Pokémon is and how slow the opponent is, but you can only dodge, at the very most, three turns in a row. If you do that, your Pokémon must take two hits before they can dodge again. Once they can dodge again, they must not dodge more than two turns in a row. Seriously, if you dodge too much, the wild Pokémon'll just give up an wonder off. Status inflicters such as Hypnosis and Thunder Wave count as offensive moves, so you can't use another offensive move on the same turn as them, sorry. PP changers, since we don't have PP here, just mean that the Pokémon can't use the move as much. For example, Spite disables the move for a few turns. All Pokemon recieved in the lab have Egg Moves!
