Appearance: Small and dark-skinned, with amber brown hair and matching eyes. Her hair is long, and often braided. Her clothing usually consists of a sandy brown t-shirt and baggy khaki pants, tucked into leather-brown boots. When in the city, she wears a long teal-blue jacket over this.
Personality: Ma'ali is quiet and reserved, speaking only when necessary. She loves puzzles and riddles, and will spend hours thinking them up and reasoning them out. She owns a dukduk (a desert-style flute, with a haunting sound) which she plays when it isn't too humid, to help her think. While in Pokemon form, she dances to her own beat. Of the two forms, she prefers her Pokemon form.
History: Her family lives in an isolated desert valley, hidden away in the mountains, and it was there that Ma'ali was born, a desert creature through and through, living pretty much only for herself and Myrikku - her family is the kind that is very independent. While they do keep together if they have to, they tend to stay apart for most of the time. "Survive on your own."
It was Myrikku who first suggested Ma'ali become a trainer. After all, it would help her to be strong, and to survive. And so they had removed themselves from the desert and come to the village of Pine to start their journey.

Form (If settled): none Getting close, though...
Favourite Form/s (If not settled): Myrikku is dancing back and forth between Absol and Umbreon as his fixed form, though he often takes Abra form as well. Every now and then, when they are feeling very desert-like, he will take Flygon form, but it seems to be between Absol and Umbreon that he will make his decision to settle.
Appearance: No matter what form he chooses, he has a small swirl mark on his left fore-palm, which symbolizes 'mage', the mark he was given when Ma'ali began her journey.
Personality: Like his master, he prefers to be reserved, mysterious, and loves reasoning things out. They very rarely tell each other the answer to a puzzle until they know they have both solved it. He is much more protective than Ma'ali, mostly because he can usually take a stronger form to defend her, and hurt them both less. Ironically, Ma'ali has a habit of hiding behind Myrikku when things get tough, often changing to her Kirlia form in order to be easier to defend.
