Both Rattata and Misdreavus were surprised to see Blade switching his Beldum for a Nidoran, a purple one; a male. With a little nod to one another, they switched targets, since this way round they would actually deal some damage for once. The Ember was avoided by Rattata simply by stopping for it to pass on his way to face Fyren. The mouse smiled. Fyren might be stronger than Metal, but this time his attacks would be normall effective so he'd be able to get some more decent hits in. Misdreavus was pleased to be fighting Spiler, since her Psychic type attacks would be super effective, meaning the same thing that had been happening with Fyren only gaining power rather than losing it.
Right, time to attack. Misdreavus decided to give Spiker, her new opponent, a taster of what she could do. That might make him a little worried! The ghost grinned mischeavously at that thought, neck gems glowing as she prepared her attack. Soon after, a highly accurate and super effective Psywave was heading Spiker's way. Rattata smiled as he saw this, hoping his own attack would go well. He decided on his strongest most accurate move again, racing speedily for Fyren in a Quick Attack.

"Gah!" Blade yelped, as Spiker, taken completely off-guard, took the attack head-on. Fortunately, the attack didn't knock him out, but Spiker let out a groan of pain. "Peck! Now!" Blade ordered, and Spiker immediately moved to obey, glancing reproachfully over his shoulder as he jerked his horn at the ghost, threatening to poke her eye out with the sharp, poison-tipped horn that adorned his head.
(OOC* Poison Point causes poisoning on contact, right? It just seems appropriate for a poison-tipped horn to cause poisoning... Makes sense, too.)
Fyren took the Quick Attack in his side, which forced his breath out. No Embers this time around. However, there was another move in his arsenal, which he put to good use here. He twisted around before the Rattatta coudl retreat, his mouth wide and his fangs erupting into flame.

Ooc// Don't worry, I'm always aware of the Pokemon's abilities. Poin point doesn't come into effect always, though.
Ic// Misdreavus smiled as she saw that her super effective move had hit it's mark. That was definately a good thing. She felt itvwas more than a little unfair that Blade had switched Pokemon to a much stronger one before he was about to loose, since the wild Pokemon couldn't do that and it meant that he might just keep on switching Pokemon. Eh, if he switched again, Misdreavus decided she would leave, and knowing Rattata he would probably follow, his ability coming in useful. Misdreavus was too busy thinking about how unfair Blade had made it that she didn't notice the Peck and was struck painfully, wincing. Looking across, she saw that her friend the Rattata was squealing in pain within Fyren's burning jaws.
They were both feeling rather weak now, and wanted to make as good an effort as possible. Rattata knew that Fyren would be about as weak as they were, and Spiker would be very strong. He considered the fight against Metal a victory, since the Beldum had been switched out. Rattata looked across at Misdreavus, then nodded pointedly at Furen. The ghost nodded, smiling. Shd then prepared another Pswave, sending the attack straight for the Houndour. A little bit after that so there was no chance of him colliding with the move, Rattata charged at Fyren in a Quick Attack. They were hoping that by ganging up on the tired puppy, they would be able to defeat him, since they knew that after this turn they would probably be defeated by Spiker very easily. The attacks looked like they would hit, too.

Fyren ignored the Psywave again; it washed over him without doing any harm at all; it simply made his fur stand on end for several seconds, during which he met Rattatta's Quick Attack head on; the rat Pokemon almost went head-first into the hound's mouth, and smacked into Fyren's skull mask. Nonetheless, Fyren went stumbling backwards, firing a quick Ember at Rattatta.
"Spiker, use Peck again, this time on Rattatta!" Blade yelled, "Two can play at this game!" Spiker used Peck alright... against Misdreavus, instead of his ordered target. His horn lashed at Misdreavus, threatening to fill her with holes, and, because of Spiker's Poison Point ability, cause poisoning. "Ugh," Avartiath grumbled, slapping his hand to his face, "He listened last time!"

Birdy//♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥Misdreavus snarled in anger. How could she have forgotten that her Psywave did nothing against Fyren? She should have continued to just focus on the opponent she could hit... anyway, she shouldn't dwell on it, or she might find herself caught out by a surprise attack. She heard a sigh of relief followed by a yelp of pain as Rattata watched most of the Ember go past him before getting hit by a tiny amount of the Fire type attack. Misdreavus tried to ignore it, attempting to dodge the Peck. She failed, however, the sharp horn catching her and pushing her to the ground.
The Ghost's eyes widened in surprise as she found herself too tired to get up. No, this wasn't happening! She struggled, but even struggling was too tiring as she collapsed, fainting. Rattata squeaked in fear as he saw his partner faint, then looked at Fyren in determination. The Houndour was almost fainted, and he knew it. One more attack should do it, but the problem was that using the energy to attack his opponent would probably make him faint, too. If Rattata attacked Fyren, Fyren would faint, but he would too; meaning he would have lost to Spiker. Still, this was his best chance at getting at least one of his opponents to faint. Rattata charged at Fyren in a Quick Attack, knowing that if he hit, they would both faint leaving Spiker the winner, but if he missed, they would both be fine.

Fyren managed, barely, to jerk his foot out of the way, as Spiker charged towards the other battle horn-first. He then had to dodge again as Spiker lashed out everywhere with his horn. "Wah!" he managed, jumping backwards, and skidding to a halt as Blade sent out a Pokeball to capture Misdreavus. The ball hit the ghost lightly, and drew her inside.
Fyren paused to take a breather as Spiker lashed at Rattatta, his wild attacks missing the rat repeatedly, but certainly distracting the rat.

Birdy//♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥Rattata was at first worried by Spiker's random jabbings, then realised that the Nidoran wasn't actually hitting him. He timed himself, leaping out the way nimbling and escaping the random lashing out. He locked eyes with his target, Fyren, again. He had to hit the Houndour, he just had to! After all, even though he knew the effort would most likely make him faint if Spiker didn't, but at least he would be able to take out one Pokémon with him! Besides, Fyren would be fine after a good night's sleep, so there wasn't much to worry about, anyway, for the trainer at least! Rattata ran at Fyren once again in another Quick Attack, keeping going through sheer determination while his muscles ached. It looked like he might just hit this time.
Meanwhile, Misdreavus found herself facing the smooth red and white walls of the Pokéball. At first, she was a little confused, but she quickly realised what was going on and began pushing at the sides of the capture device in hopes of escaping. She could see black spots in front of her eyes, and her tiredness was making her attempts weaker and less able to fight, but still she kept on. In the end though, it just wasn't enough. The Pokéball clicked and fell still, announcing her capture.
Misdreavus was caught!

Fyren wasn't able to avoid this attack, and knew it. So he met it head on; Rattatta slammed into his skull helmet, forcing the object into Fyren's face, but fortunately it didn't harm him too badly. However, it was stile enough to make him collapse into a sitting position, his head drooping. "That's it," he grumbled, "I can't fight any further."
Blade nodded, sighing, as Fyren laid down heavily, almost landing on top of the Rattatta. Spiker just stood there for several seconds, blinking confusedly. "What-?" he said eventually, unable to figure out what hat happened.

Birdy//♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥Rattata smiled as he saw that Fyren had finally been defeated. The black spots in his eyes were worse now, and it was too hard to fight off unconciousness. He didn't mind, though; he was proud of himself. Spiker might remain in the battle, but at least he'd managed to defeat another Pokémon. Well, both the Pokémon who had originally fought had fainted- that was something, wasn't it?
Finally, the mouse collapsed, feeling a little sad as he saw the Pokéball click on Misdreavus. Still, there were other friends out there. The Normal type sighed deeply as he closed his eyes, relaxing at last.
Blade won! Metal and Fyren gain one level each! Spiker gained two levels!

Blade reacted instantly, launching a second Pokeball at Rattatta; the device bounced off the rat's head, drawing him inside and holding him. It started to wobble from side to side, even if the Pokemon inside was not struggling, which was unlikely.
"Come on," Blade muttered, eyes narrowing in concentration, "Don't let this be without its full reward!"
