Sulteron entered Sento Town, breathing in the fresh sea air. After the hot desert, the cool breezes, sound of the sea and sound of Wingull screeching overhead was welcome. The Espeon 'morph sighed in relief as she moved over the boundries, setting foot on the path. Segonami, the tall Suicune walking proudly at her side, looked more comfortable here near the water. After all, she might be the 'aurora' Pokémon, but she still held a power over water as a Water type. Jizu was cheerful too, currently in the form of a Wingull, diving over the heads of Sulteron and her Pokémon. Even Tayeko the Absol, the other Pokémon Sulteron had out their Pokémon, was in a good mood; as a Dark type, he preferred the normal sun to the blazing one of Route Three.
Sulteron was heading for a Pokémon Center, as most trainers did when arriving in a town. Segonami had taken a battering from the grunt's Bagon, and all her Pokémon were a little tired out from walking and the controlling sound the grunts had sent out. The Espeon 'morph passed by the brown rooved building of the gym, and a shiver of excitement ran down her body; in not too much time, she would be fighting in there. Her grin broadened as she walked along a fence, the other side of which was the beach. A hint of red caught her eye- ah, there was the Pokémon Center. She made for it, soon finding herself at the building's door. She slid the blue tinted doors open, stepping inside. Ah, it was so good to be back in civilization. Spring flowers, sea air, people, sun... this was the perfect day for her. She headed for the counter, returning Sego and Tayeko placing her Pokéballs on it.

The pokemon centre was cool, the buzz of air conditioning sending a pleasant breeze around the spatious pokemon centre, to the left was a seating area of comfoartable sofas for trainers to relax and talk to one another. Beside the seats there was a small bar where you could order a range of pokemon food and meals suitable for their trainers. To the right were a range of PCs to exchange the pokemon in your party for others in storage. Directly ahead was the counter, behind which the nurse, irdentical to the one in the previous town, and, for that matter, every other town in the known pokemon world. Man, these girls spread far out, can anyone say 'inbreeding'? Whilst on the subject, Sulteron would notice that this Nurse Joy, like the others, had a fixed, and slightly creepy smile on her face. Maybe they were robots, robots with daemons... Her daemon was a chansey who seemed a lot friendlier and chatted to another trainer standing off to the side of the counter. There was no one waiting to have their pokemon healed so Sulteron could speak to Nurse Joy straight away.
"Hello, and welcome to the Pokémon Centre. We can heal your Pokémon to full health. Would you like us to heal your Pokémon?"

ooc// Oh sweet potato Magikarps, that give me a plot idea. I'm keeping it a surprise, but it will be excitingly awesome.
ic// Sulteron blinked as the Nurse Joy of this place spoke her usual speech. Same speech, same look, same actions. The daemon seemed to have much more personality and life than the nurse did. How weird. Well, that was the way things were. At the question, she chuckled softly. No, I'd like you to fill my backpack with custard, she thought sarcastically. "Yes, please." was what she actually said, waiting for the Nurse to take her Pokéballs and put them on the machine.

OOC:// Sorry but I don't know what else to say...
IC://Nurse Joy took the Pokeballs and placed them on the machine, the screen signalling the health of the Pokemon and pinging once it had completed. Smiling, Nurse Joy handed the girl back all of her Pokeballs on a tray, saying with a typical smile, "Thank you for waiting. We've restored your Pokemon to full health. We hope to see you again."

Sulteron nodded with a smile as Nurse Joy handed back her Pokemon and continued the creepy smile and speech. She thought the pink haired lady was a little strange, but didn't mention anything and instead left, Tayeko and Sego at her sides, Jizu bouncing on her head in the form of an Azuril. She was heading for the gym; after all, the goal of every trainer was to collect all eight gym badges. The Espeon 'morph soon found it, walking through the door. She was a little nervous about her battle, but she entered anyway in hope of a win. "Hello? I've come for a battle!" she called.

OOC:// I don't really know the personality of the gym leader so I've made my own little take on him, I hope it's okay. Um.. and i don't know what the daemon's name is and I don't want to make one up so I'll leave her nameless for now and put "_____" where her name should be ^_^
As the door opened a man sat at the back of the Gym, a large map laid out in front of him and a Sandslash; the pair had been doing something with the map since it was of the Enera Region, but just what it was, was as mysterious as a blizzard in the summer. The door creaked open and a young girl with Espeon ears and a tail stepeped forward, an Umbreon by her side and a Growlithe. Since th Growlithe was a shiny, the man that was crouched neatly on the floor knew that the Umbreon was most likely the girl's daemon.
Listening to the girl's challenge, Twan stood himself up very easily and gave a smug look toward this stranger and a faint smile as he fiddled with the explorers hat that sat neatly on his head. After doing so, he looked out to the Pokemorph and spoke loudly so that his voice echoed around the gym that had rocks laid out on the battle field, "Very well young lady. Consider your challenge accepted." THen turning to the Sandslash that contineud to sit on the floor with the map he gestured to the large blueprints and muttered, " _____, we shall get back to this later, in the mean time it is time to start a long awaited battle." The Sandslash daemon nodded and looked out toward the Umbreon, Growlithe and Espeon Morph as she quickly rolled up the map and buried it inside a box underneath the gym. Meanwhile, Twan had pulled out his first Pokeball and called, "Geodude, it's time to rumble!" A Geodude had been released and it floated in the air patiently as he waited for his opponent's to release hsi direct enemy. Twan gestured a kind yet confident hand to his challenger, "Miss, you may have the first move."

ooc// I've now named his daemon Sally. I think. Also, I dunno why I was suddenly making her Absol a Growlithe, lolfail.
ic// Sulteron felt Tayeko tensen beside her, the shiny Absol ready to fight. Still, the Espeon 'morph didn't really want to battle her strongest Pokémon against Twan's weakest. No, she would save the Absol 'til last. Putting a hand on his shoulder, she murmured "Let's let someone else fight, 'kay?" before pulling out a Pokéball. She didn't think she'd actually used Hasha before. "All right, go!" she called, releasing the energetic Leovine.
Hasha growled as he faced his Geodude opponent, raising his petals to make himself appear more fierce. Sulteron decided on his first move. "Vine Whip!" Hasha smiled. A good super effective hit to start off with, and a nice simple one to get the idea of what Twan and Geodude would be like. The dog Pokémon extended vines from his neck, sending them shooting for Geodude in the strong attack.

OOC: Ummm going to take over for the moment. XB Hope nobody minds!
Pokémon is srs bsns to Twam/Twan(?). XDD
He whistled. Now there's a Pokémon he hadn't seen for a while. A Leovine, he remembered; one of the starters found in the Lab. He hadn't seen many trainers come around with one of them, lately, and he was beginning to forget what it was like. Judging by the evolution stage, it was probably higher in level than his own Geodude.
"Nice Leovine you have there, miss," he called out, scrutinising it as it flared its petals at its foe, growling. "Very spirited." The Espeon-girl had apparently decided that a Vine Whip was a good start to the battle, and he couldn't really argue. It came on as an offensive, no-nonsense move, promising that this battle was serious business. The attack came flying at his Geodude. Judging by the speed of the whipping vines, it probably couldn't dodge in time. The Vine Whip would hit hard, and the only way out was damage control.
"Very well. Geodude, Defence Curl!" The Pokémon gave a solemn nod before drawing inwards, curling into a tight ball. Then, it did a rather strange thing: it rolled to the left, still in ball form. A few of the vines thus missed it, but one slapped it hard across the back. A pained grunt could be heard, but the Geodude was much better off than it would have been, should the Vine Whip have hit full on.
"Well done. Now, Magnitude!" The Geodude bounced up, spinning in the air, as Twam braced himself against a sturdy table. He gestured at a few handrails behind the girl, installed for just this purpose: "Miss, you might want to get a grip on 'em." Soon as his words stopped, the Geodude smashed into the earth, sending out ripples of movement around it. Magnitude 7, judged Twam, rubbing his chin thoughtfully, waiting for the first two shockwaves to pass. Not too bad, but not too good, either. He leaned heavily on the table as the third, and most powerful, wave passed him, before the aftershocks came and he could stand properly on his own two legs again.
The Geodude was now inside a small dent on the ground, panting slightly with the exertion.

Sulteron//♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥Sulteron was a little puzzled as to why she would have to grab onto something, but obeyed, and with a flash the 'morph's hands were firmly on the handrails. She felt the earth shake with the Magnitude attack, and her eyes widened with surprise at the sudden earthquake. She leaned more on the bar, hugging it with her arms so tightly her knuckles turned white and the tendons in her arms showed as she could barely stand up.
When it was over, she looked at Geodude, extremely impressed. The Pokémon was in a dent, panting- aha! The effort had caused his to begin panting. That meant that if he used moves like Magnitude enough, he would tire himself out. Hasha looked startled, collapsed on the ground; he had nothing to hold onto. The Leovine's eyes narrowed as he picked himself up. That was a Ground type move, and so only dealt half damage, but that had still hurt. Geodude had power, that was for sure!
"All right, Hasha, we need to be sure you'll recover easily after things like that in future! Leech Seed!" Sulteron called to her Grass type dog. The energetic Pokémon nodded. That seemed reasonable; it meant that even if a move left him unable to attack, Geodude would still be hurt and he'd recover health. The Leovine gathered up energy for a moment, until he shook his petals, sending a few seeds hurtling towards Geodude at a great speed. These would work a little bit like a permenant, mini absorb attack. The Leech Life could hit this time.

Twam watched as the girl's Pokémon picked himself up, impressed. The Leovine was tough, though he didn't expect any less of it. And, after all, a Gound-type move only does so much damage against a Grass-type Pokémon.
The girl seemed to fixate on his Geodude. Eyeing the Pokémon, Twam couldn't find a reason why she was focusing on it. Shrugging it off, he checked on the Leovine. It appeared to have regained its footing, and was narrowing its eyes at its foe. "All right, Hasha, we need to be sure you'll recover easily after things like that in future! Leech Seed!" The girl called out, and the Leovine nodded. Pausing as it gathered energy, the Pokémon sent seeds flying towards the Geodude with a flick of the petals around its neck. Twam swore, and hurriedly covered it up with a cough. Fact was, it didn't bode well, if the attack hit. His Geodude would be drained throughout the battle.
No chance of preventing it, though: the seeds landed on and around the Geodude, swiftly sprouting and sinking roots into the rock-Pokémon. Rumbling with anger, it rolled away from the dent with some effort, clambering over the rim of the crater. Five shoots could be seen on its back, and another three on its right arm. Thankfully, that was about all. The Geodude glared at its opponent, apparently upset by this Leech Seed.
"Okay. Geodude, we can't help that. I want you to do Rock Polish now; speed can come in useful." The Pokémon growled in return, dashing itself against a few stones placed around the arena. In the process, many of the shoots came away, crushed and rubbed off its rock-hard skin. The result was one shining Geodude, with two shoots on its back and one on its arm. It looked to Twam for instruction, who nodded appreciatively. "Alright now, lessee you use that Rock Throw!"
The Geodude growled again, harsher this time, and gathered a few loose stones from the pile of rocks. With a roar, it flung them at the Leovine and picked up another load, throwing them in the general direction. A few stones hit the ground, raising puffs of dust; neither Twam nor his Pokémon could see if the rest hit. The Geodude sagged suddenly as small balls of bright green energy left its body and flew towards its foe. It dropped the next bunch of rocks and leaned against them, puffing and regaining its strength.

Sulteron//♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥Sulteron smiled, pleased at the success of the Leech Seed. Both Twam and Geodude seemed annoyed at that, too, which could only be a good thing. After all, they would hardly be annoyed if something good had happened to them! The Espeon 'morph could see that the Rock type was now faster and so more accurate, which wasn't too good. The Rock Throw was a Rock type move, too, meaning it was normally effective against Hasha.
Hasha knew this, too, but thanks to Geodude's speed giving Rock Polish, the Pokémon had struck much faster than the Leovine had thought it would. As a result, he misjudged his dodge and ended up being struck- hard. He growled in pain at the sudden blows from the Rock Throw, but managed to withstand it; it wasn't too long into the battle, after all. He smiled in both relief and gladness as the Leech Seed energy came towards him, healing him just a little bit.
Sulteron could see that Geodude had its attack stat to its advantage. "Use Bite and don't let go!" she called, hoping that that would restrict it. Hasha nodded, beginning to charge in towards his opponent for the proposed attack, lunging for the rocky Pokémon with his jaws outstretched. This attack would deal some decent damage, but he and Sulteron both understood that there was the risk that Geodude would be able to attack from a very close range this way. Still, it was worth a try. The Bite was nearing Geodude quickly.

The Geodude resumed its prepared stance after taking a few deep breaths. It'd recovered from the temporary weakness the Leech Seed had inflicted on it, though it knew that a while later, they'd draw energy from its body again. Well, it'd just have to make use of this momentary lull to deal his damage.
Twam rubbed his chin, eyeing the Leovine appreciatively. It had been hit by the boulders, but it didn't seem to have sustained much damage; apparently, it was quite a lot stronger than he'd imagined it to be. Still, it had misjudged his Geodude, hadn't it? If he wanted to win, he'll have to play on that.
"Geodude, Defence Curl again!"
The Rock-Pokémon obeyed the command, tucking itself into a tight ball and skimming across the ground, its speed raised by the Rock Polish. At least, if the Leovine decided to use a physical attack, his Pokémon wouldn't suffer so much for it. The green energy balls, by now, have reached the Leovine, who was visibly invigorated by them. It traded its growl of pain for a smile; its relief at the healing effects of the Leech Seed was palpable.
"Use Bite and don't let go!"
Glancing over to the girl, Twam gave a critical shake of the head. It would be foolish to send the Leovine, who could attack from afar well enough, to his Geodude – it was rather apt to get collateral damage as well as the normal attacks, from simply being too close to a lump of rock not known for its manoeuvring abilities. But he couldn't just let his Geodude smash his foe into the boulders, accidentally or otherwise: he was an honourable man, by Arceus!
"Geodude, continue your Defence Curl!"
If the Leovine was to attach itself to the Geodude, it could easily be shaken off, though trying to catch a hold with its teeth at this speed was near impossible in the first place. Twam hoped that this would caution off the Leovine to switch to a safer attack. Meanwhile, the Geodude gave no indication that it had heard, apart from sagging for a moment under the next round of Leeching and regaining its rolling speed.

Sulteron//♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥Sulteron had at first thought that perhaps by having Hasha grab onto his opponent, it would disable the Geodude from attacking. She now realised that that was definately wrong. For one, Geodude could still use a Magnitude; and from that close, it was bound to leave the Leovine close to fainting. She could also see that the turning of the Defense Curl was causing Hasha a little pain too, meaning the energy gained from the Leech Seed was lost again.
Suddenly, the Espeon 'morph smiled; she had an idea. Hasha was gripping onto Geodude with all his might, slowing the rock down but not enough to prevent himself from feeling a little pain from it. The Leovine snarled, wanting to let go, when he heard his trainer call out his next move to him.
"Hasha, push yourself away with a Vine Whip!" the 'morph called, tail accidently flicking into Jizu. The dæmon, who was then a Growlithe on the ground, yelped in surprise and fluttered up as a Pidgey to rest on her shoulder. Tayeko the shiny Absol snickered, making Jizu blush with embarassment.
Hasha saw none of this, however, since he was too busy battling. The Gras type dog was relieved to be told he could let go, but still wanted to do his best in the Vine Whip. Another super effective hit would be definately a good thing. The Leovine gathered up power, then forced two thick vines to emerge from either side of his neck within his petals. These shot out, an almost definate hit thank to being already attached to their target. If the Vine Whip did hit, there would be enough force to send Hasha sprawling backwards.

The Geodude shuddered as it felt the Leovine clamp its jaws down hard; nevertheless, its stone muscles were able to withstand the Bite well enough. It nearly flinched, true, but ultimately it kept going, though the Leovine dragged at its speed. Growling in irritation, it rolled aside, hoping to dash the Grass-type against a boulder.
"Hasha, push yourself away with a Vine Whip!"
The attack hit, slapping across its body. The Geodude yelped, tumbling to an erratic stop. Its foe had successfully pushed itself away, but the Vine Whip had done more than that. It was a Critical Hit.
Twam narrowed his eyes in sudden worry. He doubted that his Geodude would go on much longer; that fact was confirmed when it struggled to lever itself to an upright position before sagging again. When the next few green balls of energy left its body via the ever-present Leech Seed, it heaved a regretful sigh and collapsed, fainting.
Inclining his head at Sulteron, the Gym Leader commented as he recalled his Geodude, "Looks like your Leovine's stronger than I thought, girl," raising a wry eyebrow. "But watch out for Cranidos, won't you?" With that, he flicked out his next, and last, Pokémon. "Your move again, girl."

Sulteron's eyes widened as the Vine Whip hit, seeming to have more power in it than she had been expecting. The Espeon 'morph was puzzled at first, then came to realise that this must have been a critical hit. She smiled; that was definately a good thing. She watched as the Geodude struggled to get back up, the energy sap from the Leech Life ending his efforts. Sulteron blinked as he fell. Was he really fainted? Had she beaten him? When Twam withdrew him and sent out Cranidos, she knew for sure that she had. "Well done, Hasha, you're doing really well!" she called to her proud looking Leovine.
Sulteron thought about this. Now the gym leader had sent out a different Pokemon, she had the options of either keeping going with Hasha and taking the first move, or switching to a different Pokemon and having her opponent attack first. Well, Hasha may have battled well, but he was well and truly worn out from all that, the Grass type dog panting. The girl knew it would probably be best to let him have a rest and send out her next Pokemon. "Hasha, take a rest. You're tired and youbdeserve one." she told her Leovine, holding out his Pokeball and returning him inside. She then looked to the Pokemon at her side. "You're up, Tayeko." she said. The shiny Absol nodded, leaping forwards to face his newest opponent.
