OOC:// I made his Cranidos a girl if you don't mind. I've always wanted a female Cranidos, so i thought why not now? Though a a female Rampardos would be strange... :/

IC:// Twam looked and a smug smile spread acros his face when he the Absol appear, ready for battle in a confident position. Crossing his arms and then releasing one for a gesture toward the Shiny Absol he called out happily,
"An Absol this time. Miss you truly are full of surprises."
He then gave a small wtry smile, his eyes narrowing as he gave a slight chuckle,
"But, as am I."
He threw his arm out toward his Cranidos and called out,
"Cranidos let's not dilly-dally. Straight in! Leer and charging Headbutt combo!"
Cranidos knew exactly what to do. She had done so many times before, her travels with her trainer were not for pure study but for adevnture and thrill that awakened inside her body very early. Executing her trainer's orders immediately, as soon as he completed his sentence, she bent down low and locke dher gaze onto the Absol opponent. Then she allowed her eyes to glow a strong red as she performed her leer combo, shooting forward with a Headbutt attack at the same time. Twam's Cranidos was known for her quick reaction times, and eagerness in battle. Not wasting a single movement and always ready for what was to come. And this battle would be no exception.

Sulteron looked at Twam's Cranidos, as did Tayeko. The wolf shuddered as the Leer lowered his defense stat, then shook out his pink tinted fur. Just a little glare wouldn't stop him! He then saw the Headbutt, a powerful attack, heading his way. Oh. Maybe that would stop him, though. The Dark type snarled a determined snarl as he faced the move, attempting to dodge. However, even his nimble legs were no match for Cranidos' timing and aim, leadingvto Tayeko finding himself fallen to the ground. He grumbled angrily, getting back to his feet and looking at Sulteeon for instruction. She smiled. She considered using a Razor Wind, since that was one of Tayeko's strongest attacks, but decided against it since Razor Wind would be not very effective since it was a Normal type move. "Use a Leer to get back at them, then a Faint Attack!" she called.

Tayeko nodded, smiling as he stretched his claws and made his gaze bore into Cranidos'. Ah, it sure felt good to be fighting in battle again. The Absol finished his Leer, preparing his next attack. As Sulteron's starter, he had a close, special bond with her, so he trusted her completely and would always obey and protect her. Right now, for example, he would do just that. The red wolf tossed his head, focusing on his target and tensening his muscles. He soon flicked before disappearing altogether; he would reappear to attack. This was the ordered Faint Attack, a useful move since it was one that always hit.

Cranidos clecnhed her jaw when she felt her defense lower from the mutual Leer attack. Everyone was on level ground once again, and soon Cranidos couldn't see the Absol anympre, wondering where it might have gone she realised when she was punded from behind sending her forward and skidding her across the ground. A sneak attack that always hit, Faint Attack was a nuisance. Standing herself up, Cranidos scowled at the Absol after she shook her head to refocuse herself. Twam watched carefully. Just as Cranidos was his first Pokemon, Takeyo seemed to be the challenger's. What a battle this would be. First things first though. Sort out that speed...
"Cranidos let's use a Scary Face and then Headbutt again!"
Twam watched as Cranidos glady obeyed, and her face began to become one of a creepy nature which is too frigehtning to explain in this PG-13 (or whatever format we have here ) roleplay sight. Though once thing was sure, it was intended to slower the opponent. And after that, Cranidos speed forward once more, hoping it would be harded to dodge as she attempted to collide her rock head skull with the shiny Absol once more.

Tayeko felt the Scary Face make him slower, snarling angrily in response. He wasn't exactly keen on having an opponent slow him down. Still, with the lowered stat included, he was still faster than Cranidos. The Headbutt managed to hit too, the powerful attack making the Absol fall to the ground and almost cry out in pain. Sulteron gritted her teeth, fingering the golden locket around her neck nervously. She could see that Headbutt was an incredibly powerful attack, but Tayeko did know a move learned through TM that could match that power. "Tayeko, use Shadow Ball!" she called.

The shiny wolf nodded, taking in a deep breath as he prepared his attack. Jaw open wide, little specks of blackness began to move quickly towards it. He concentrated harder, the small orb being formed growing and growing until it was about two thirds the size of his head. He then, with a flick of his head, sent the Shadow Ball attack speeding through the air towards Cranidos.

OOC:// Sorry. I think that I struggle for muse in Gym Threads, and after all you do for everyone: always active, modding everyone's posts and making and running this site. All in all I feel bad that I can barely handle a single modding of thread. For this I am overcome by guilt. I am sorry.

IC:// Twam and Cranidos did not have enough time to react to the rapidness of the Shadow Ball - and sure enough it struck Cranidos. it hit her chin and forced her heads upwards, continuing to deal damage as she resisted the attack that was striking her. Eventually the ball dispersed and Cranidos' head sent backwards with the force, falling onto her back as she did so. Twam looked out as Cranidos brought her pride back together and stood up, slightly annoyed. That Shadow Ball was a powerful move - easily strong enough to match one of Cranidos'. Looking at the way this battle would turn her knew that he would have to be careful with the moves he learnt. Now Cranidos knew a certain move which was quite powerful but also risky - however he had to use it in early stages of battling, he had discovered beforehand, in order to use it effectively.
"Cranidos use a Take Down!"
Cranidos nodded seriously and confidently and ran toward her opponent in a dash, jump when she got close to land on the shiny Absol in a Take Down attack. Twam knew that this would also cause Cranidos damage but it was a ppwerful move and it was wise not to use it when she was low on health as it could make her faint as a consequence - so he always used it in the early stages of battling.

ic// Tayeko's eyes widened as he saw Cranidos prepare the risky move. Take Down, a powerful and accurate move. Cranidos would also be hurt, but not nearly as much as Tayeko; Take Down was more powerful than any of the Absol's moves. He attempted desperately to dodge, but failed, the powerful move making him cry out with the pain of it. He wimpered afterwards, winded. Sulteron could see that it would probably be hard for him to use a move this turn, so decided to give him time to recover. "Razor Wind!" she called simply.

The shiny was glad to be taking a bit of a break; Razor Wind was powerful move, but struck on the second turn. This time, he took some deep breaths, building up his power for the explosive Normal type move later. He knew it wouldn't be very effective, but hopefully it would be powerful enough for that to be all right. A lowered defense might help him, too. Knowing his, he quickly used a Leer to lower Cranidos' defense stat before his eyes began to glow as he prepared the Razor Wind.
