I have an idea. You know how all the old posts get moved to the Library? Well, what if you made a Finished sub-board in the rp boards and just moved finished posts to those boards so people could more easily find something from their old adventures if they need to.

Sounds cool, I'll probably do that.

Clearer guidelines on profile ratings. I've brought this up a couple of times before and seen no improvement. Right now it seems to simply be based on your mood, whether you give a profile a Common or a Rare rating. I've got several people to back me up on this.
Also, I was discussing with Red and we agreed the Daycare system is unbalanced. Instead of making it based on time, why not make it based on post count to make it more fair? Depending on your Pokémon's level, you gain a level every x amount of posts, and have to pay accordingly (along with a base fee for leaving your Pokémon in the Daycare in the first place). It would encourage activity in the period your Pokémon are in the Daycare, as well as collaterating with the original games. AND it would actually make putting effort into a training area post worth it as being more time/cost efficient than Daycare laziness.

Yeah, at some point I guess I should type up them guidlines. I suppose that Halo and I would find it easier to accept/reject applications that way.
As for the daycare center idea, I'm not sure about that. I could up the cost, but the general idea for that was so people who aren't confident or new in roleplaying wouldn't have to have a disadvantage that way.

It's simple. People who aren't confident/new in roleplaying are disadvantaged just the same as people who are very confident/experienced in roleplaying are at an advantage. Sticking them in the daycare encourages inactivity - it's the 'lazy way' of doing things. If it were based on how many posts you made in the roleplay boards themselves it would frankly be no harder for the newbies anyway.
The cost isn't an important factor. Money is easy peasy to obtain on this site. I just think that leveling Pokémon should take effort and be rewarding.

Also on the leveling system (but this time it's an actual idea, not this time me being nitpicky hehee), I was thinking about the boost that you get in the games by leveling a traded Pokémon. Maybe there should be, like, joing training efforts? Basically, let's take two forum members, person A and person B. Person A and Person B 'swap' Pokémon for the extent of the training session. Then, Person A writes a training post for Person B's Pokémon and Person B does the same for Person A. The levels Person A gains will go towards Person B's Pokémon, and vice-versa. However, instead of the normal amount (like, one level per paragraph), there is, say, a 2x multiplier because they were trained by a different person.
What do you think? It encourages friendliness and co-operation, and is faster than doing it on your own. Just throwing it out there.

Probably. Perhaps not double levels, though, maybe like three for two paragraphs.

Yeah. The 2x was only an example, 1.5x would correlate better/be more appropriate.

Just somethings I thought I'd suggest. It late so please forgive grammer, spelling, and half explained ideas. Gyms:
I've noticed that all eight gyms haven't been made yet. Whether this is out or business or them having no need yet, I understand. But I wanted to run some ideas by you anyway just incase you might like them and want to use them. My first idea was about gym types. I thought it could be interesting for three of the gyms to be Ice, Ground, and Dark gyms since there have never been any gyms (that I can think of) that specialize in those types. I was also thinking, though it isn't very likely, that some of the last two or three gym leaders could use legendary pokemon that correspond with their type. This would be reasonable because I though that you'd at one point said that Enera Legendary Pokemon where only a bit stronger than normal pokemon, yet obviously much, much rarer. I know some of this might be thinkin a bit far into the furture but sometimes it pays to stay one step ahead. My last idea was that maybe if they're an rper of above adverage skill and the beat the Elite Four along with the champion, they can stay and be in the champion room if they wish as the one to be battle for the champion title as long as they are fair in battle.
Breeders, Rangers, and Students
I was thinking that these three classes need an in-game/Role Playable purpose or goal to achieve just like trainers and coordinaters. I'm a little low on creativity right now but I can try to offer some ideas. Like for breeder there could be some kind of competition or judgin, on who has better breeding techniques or who's taken better care of their pokemon, in a town building or at a pokemon center with the local Nurse Joy along with other pokemon expert or professors as the judges. Rangers could be assigned differently ranked missions mission and by completing the missions and getting experience or whatever they could go up ranks and be able to keep more pokemon with them and go on higher ranked missions. Students could maybe train with each other and take on different test both classroom and demostrative for grades or whatever, and once they've done well enought the could be free to granduate into any of the other four careers.

I think the last gym in the Hoenn region was an Ice type ^-^ but yeah, I should probably get them up and make badges for them and stuff. I think each elite four member might have a legendary, but not any gym leaders. Perhaps only the champion, as a secret weapon or something.
That sounds pretty cool. Like, for the breeders it could be a Pokémon Show. Rangers... well, they already have ranks and stuff, but perhaps there could be capture shows. Then students... we need more of them, and I think some sort of exam would be good. I'm not entirely sure whether any of them would want to leave or not, but it sounds like a good idea.

Oh, I know exactly whom you are speaking of. Wallace the Contest Master one of my favorite gym leaders. He has a Milotic for a starter but he was a Water type gym leader not an Ice type. But that aside, you're in not particular rush to make badges and I'd be happy to help if you needed any gym badge wise or gym wise in general. (I'm also good with coming up with ideas on the spot.) Save legendaries for possible the Elite Four is a good idea. I dunno what I was thinking with gym leaders guess that what happens when ya get ideas early in the mornin. While I'm thinking though could you please explain how contest are gonna work? I'm almost in the first town and My charrie Sai is both a Trainer and a Coordinator so after he hit the gym he's gonna register for the local contest.
Yeah, exactly what I was thinking. A Pokemon Show, kinda like Dog Shows are held. I'm aware that Rangers have ranks and stuff but I meant those ranks and things should actually be implemented into the Roleplay and earned and stuff like that. I also agree that we need more students and that the exams could possibly be fun. I think that at least a few may leave if the option is given freely.

Price, the second to last gym leader in Johto, was an Ice type leader, as was Candice in Sinnoh, and Giovanni was a ground type gym leader. I can't recall any Dark type gym leaders either...
Some kind of goal for the Breeders and Students would be good. I'm really not sure what to do with Aisa, because there's no real goal to being a student and a breeders only goal is self satisfaction, which is kinda of hard when considered as a roleplaying standpoint, particularly for characters who are starting out quite confidant.

I have decided that the last gym shall be a Dark type gym.
And I'm not entirely sure whether I should continue the school, it doesn't seem very popular... goals are definately gonna come into play.

i have an idea to encourage people to take up the student career.
How about make it a short thing, like 4 exams and then a final test. Then, once the student passes the tests they change their career to one of the others and go traveling through the region.
The downside is you have to start from scratch, per say, getting a new Pokemon and starting from the beginning. The benefit is, you get some sort of bonus, like your Pokemon are more powerful, or you get a special item that makes them level faster. Hows that?
Also, just wanted to point out that Kinta,Kura, Kunix, and Kight are missing their images in both the Pokedex and the rarity list ^^ I would like to know what they look like.
