Sulteron gritted her teeth as she saw Lenyi's Defense stat lower with the creepy Leer attack. She knew that wouldn't be to her advantage. She needed to even that out. On the positive side, if she could even that out, the battle would be shorter as the attacks would do more damage. She needed to act. It was obvious that the Quick Attack would strike, but she could make up for that... right? "Lenyi, use Leer and Tackle! Try and hit from above!" she called.
Lenyi was, as predicted, struck by the Quick Attack. It hurt, of course, but she recovered. She then shot Elekid the evil eye, the Leer attack hopefully weakening his Defense, before she leapt up high with force to power her Tackle attack.

OOC:// I seem to have lost my muse and so I apologise for the shortness of my reply.
IC:// Victor angrily sneered as his Elekid's defense was lowered; now that both of the Pokemon's stats had been lowered they were on equal terms again, and the problem was that the battle would be easier to finish off as it was the defense stat. However, although it would be easy for Victor to finish the battle - it was easy for Sulteron to end it as well. They were in a problematic situation now and there were no moves (that Elekid knew) that could make the odds in his favour. Elekid was struck by the Tackle from the Flarepup and skidded backwards again, this time going a little futher adn making dust clouds spread to his side. However, there was a move.... "Use Thundershock!" Elekid's head began to fill with short bursts electricty before he sent the thudnershock lightning bolt forwrad and into his opponent.

Sulteron gasped. Elekid didn't learn that until what- level 7? Well, Lenyi had a type and level disadvantage, but that wouldn't stop them. Nothing could, because they could win! She had an idea on how to counter this attack and make it avoid Lenyi at the same time. It was dangerous, but it was all she had. "Lenyi, this might hurt, but not as much as taking the hit. I want you to catch the eletricity in your wing, and use Tackle at the same time!" she called.
Lenyi was a little unsure, but understood. Vaguely. The cub stretched out her little wings, feeling soft tingles and waves of pain as the Thundershock was caught in it. Because of the curved shape, some of the electiricity was staying there. It might actually shock Elekid back if it hit him... or he might have that ability which prevented that. Either way, it didn't matter. She charged forward through the rest of the Thundershock, snarling. Her Tackle was aimed at Elekid's ear, so the circuit would be incomplete.

Victor's smiled turn into a confused frown as the Flarepup caught the attack in its wing and then threw it back. What was the point of that? he thought. Firstly it was an electrical attack so would hardly do any damage to Elekid and secondly wouldn't that injure the opponent's wing? The Thundershock was thrown back at Elekid and he didn't even wince as it surged through his body. That was pointless....Because of this, Eleki began to laugh and was taken aback as the Flarepup Tackled him suddenly and targeted his upper torso. He was taken off balance and fell over. That was embrassing. To be knocked over by a lowere leveld and disadvantaged Pokemon. He snarled and stood back up. Victor watched as his Elekid angrily growled at his opponent and saw the powerful, raged electricty spark between his ears and shouted, "Release that Thundershock, Elekid!" Elekid immediately listened to Victor and shot an extremely fast and furious Thundershock toward Lenyi.

Lenyi grinned happily as she sucessfully bowled over Elekid, before giving a yelp of fear as she saw him power up a Thundershock. She hadn't been shocked, but she was still rather afraid. Sulteron smiled; she knew what they could do. "Lenyi! Get as high as possible by jumping from branches and stuff, then use your wings to steer you as you come back down to Elekid with an aerial Tackle!" she called, knowing Lenyi, a lover of flying, would like the sound of that.
And true enough, Lenyi did. The puppy leapt onto a branch, then a rock, occasionally getting a little shock of pain here and a singe there. She climbed- or jumped- higher and higher, until she found herself at a reasonable distance into the air. She laughed as she flung herself off the highest branch of a tall tree, laughing as she quickly descended, wings angled to lead her straight at Elekid.

Victor paused confusedly as Sulteron ordered the fiery pup to slingshot herself from the trees at Elekid. The Flarepup was probably still recieving damage from the Thundershock, but it wasn't slowing her down. This could be bad... if the Tackle hit Elekid, Elekid would suffer massive damage... and there also wasn't time to issue a command for Elekid to move and Elekid to still have the time...
"Elekid! Catch the Flarepup in your hands and use Thundershock!" Elekid braced itself for the impact, looking somewhat like a catcher in a baseball game hoping to give its opponent a strike. If this attack connected, it would deal great damage to the Flarepup, especially if the Flarepup couldn't get out of his grip.

Jizu's Umbreon paws shuffled, and he rapidly changed forms between his current one, a Fearow, a Lucario and a Charizard, flicking through these so fast it was imposible to tell what he was at any given time. Sulteron was nervously nibbling on a fingernail, hoping desperately that she could win this and prove to Victor that even he could be beaten. After all, he couldn't strut around being over-confident, could he? "Lenyi, you can do this! Ram Elekid into the ground so the electricity flows harmlessly into the ground!" she called, remembering that electricity aims to find the ground.
The Flarepup wanted to stop Victor being over-confident. If he was, his head would be clouded and he'd suffer great disppointment. Lenyi angled her wings again, forcing all her weight down... she hoped she could do this, even if it ended up a draw... she was just about to ram Elekid...

Both Victor and his Mareep daemon wore matching smug smirks. This battle was in the bag, since Elekid was about to fry this Flarepup... or was he? Rather than changing direction, Lenyi merely tucked her wings in further and shot like an arrow towards the electrically-charged Elekid. Victor shot a quizzical look at his daemon who, by her rigid stare at the Flarepup, knew what was going to happen better than Victor did, maybe because she was an electric-type herself or maybe she was simply brighter than her master. Before Victor could ask, Lenyi barreled into his Elekid, driving it to the ground and causing its stored electicity to dissipate harmlessly into the earth. The attack had obviously taken its toll; in addtion to the impact damage, the previous Leer attack had lowered Elekid's defense, increasing the damage intake from the attack.
"Come on, get up already, Elekid!" Victor shouted at his motionless Pokemon, but to no effect; Elekid was spent. As he realized this, he hung his head in shame, and his Mareep daemon rubbed her head reassuringly against his leg.
Behind him, Sebastian was smiling thankfully at Sulteron. Not only had she helped his Wailmer, but she had also put his brother in place. His Bellossom daemon danced happily at his side, exuding a sweet scent.
Elekid has been defeated! Lenyi gains 3 levels!

Lenyi smiled weakly, swaying as she walked slowly and carefully towards her trainer. It seemed the attack had taken it's toll on her, too. Sulteron could see this, and quickly returned her to her Pokéball, not wanting her to faint. The Pokéball should let her rest peacefully until they got to the Pokémon Center in the next town, which, judging by the faint sound of people, was close by. Sulteron shook hands with Victor, and Jizu took on the same form as the Mareep daemon in respect. She then turned to Sebastian, grinning. "Thanks, guys! That was a fun battle! Goodbye; I'm heading out to Silav town to challenge the gym leader!" she grinned, waving.
When the two boys were out of sight, Tayeko smiled. ~Well, Lenyi is quite the little athlete.~ he said, nudging Jizu, who was an Umbreon again. He wondered if the daemon would settle or not, and whether the fact that he liked being an Umbreon meant anything. Denka laughed. ~Yeah! And I bet you, in the future we'll meet two elite brothers, working together with their Electivire and Wailord...~ she nodded. Sulteron shrugged. "Who knows? Maybe we will! Come on, Silav Town awaits!" she grinned, racing her two Pokémon.
