Damien realized that, due to his Pokemons' low levels, the only offensive attacks they really knew are Bite and Absorb. Of course those two attacks weren't the only attacks they knew. Looking at the two Kecleon, Damien knew the only real chance he had of winning this was to keep Sunshine and Drago close to each so that they could swap opponents. That would be tricky. Looking at Sunshine, Damien realized that she had the perfect attack to draw others close to her. "Sunshine, use Sweet Scent. Drago, use Rage." called out Damien. Both Pokemon nodded and prepared to use the desired attacks.

As the Sweet Scent trickled up the nose of the male, the Dark type, he sighed, slowly drifting towards Sunshine. The Oddish was making a very nice smell, and Kecleon felt compelled to be as close to it as possible. The chameleon Pokémon came closer and closer, while the female chose not to enter the pink haze for fear of something bad happening; what if was stat-changing? So the female moved to Drago. The opponents successfully swapped over, the female now snarled unhappily as the Rage attack pounded uncontrollably at her body. She was too busy being struck to attack, and the male was too busy smelling to attack.

Damien grinned as the ploy worked. Now all his Pokemon just had to do was to attack the closest Kecleon. This would be a very repetitive battle. Looking over to his Pokemon, Damien called out, "Drago, use Bite on the female Kecleon. Sunshine, use Absorb on the male Kecleon." Both Pokemon nodded and prepared to attack their targets. Drago charged forward with his teeth bared. Sunshine fired little beads of green energy from the leafy growth on her head.

ooc// Not sure if you've noticed yourself or not, but you've got much better at roleplaying.
ic// The Kecleon were still being held by the sweet scents and the rapid attacks, making them easy targets for Sunshine and Drago. The female shrieked loudly as the Bagon's strong jaw clamped down firmly on her arm, the chameleon grimacing as she attempted to break the Dragon type's grip. The painful grip, might she add. Glancing over, she saw that the male, too, was in trouble. The Absorb attack was striking hard, and the Oddish was being healed, as well. Not good, right? She cried out, this time one of battle as she disappeared. Not just invisible; Drago's jaws were biting down on nothing. This was a Faint Attack, and the male was copying it, too. The two Kecleon would reappear behing Sunshine and Drago to finish their attack any moment now.

ooc~~Really? Hmm... I guess I hadn't noticed. Thanks.~~
ic~~ Drago grinned as he bit down on his target. Maybe he could finish this battle early. Feeling the Kecleon struggle to get out of his grasp, Drago just bit down harder. Then, came the impossible. Just as he was about to bite down harder, the Kecleon disappeared from his grasp. ~~Hey!? Where did you go?~~ said Drago as he looked around. Unfortunately, the Bagon could not find them. Sunshine was equally perplexed. One minute, she had closed her eyes as the Absorb attack replenished her health. The next minute, her opponent was nowhere to be seen. Damien also could not find the two Kecleon. He also could not recognize the attack. Calling out to his two Pokemon, Damien said, "Drago, Sunshine, be careful. This might be an attack. Beware."

ooc// Sorry it's short, I have to leave to visit an aunt soon.
ic// The Kecleon would have grinned if they were there. The Faint Attacks had them travelled to behind Drago and Sunshine while the two Pokémon confused themselves along with the trainer. The Kecleon felt themselves coming back... the attack was about to be landed!

ooc~~No problem~~
As Damien searched for the Kecleon, he racked his brain for attacks like this. 'Let's see, could it be Fly, or Teleport? No Kecleon can't learn those. Wait a second, Faint Attack! And if I'm correct, Faint Attack does not miss, kind of like Aerial Ace. Ah man, not good.[/i]' Then, all of a sudden, Damien could begin to make out the faint outlines of the Kecleon. The most noticeable part, though, was the red zig-zag band around the Kecleons' stomachs. Knowing that it was too late to dodge the attack, Damien went for the next best thing. "Drago, Sunshine, they're right behind you. Use Bite and Absorb!." Drago went to turn around and snap his jaws down on the Kecleon. However, what Drago had in Attack and Defense, he lacked in Speed. Sunshine prepared to fire the bead of health absorbing energy towards her opponent.

As the two Kecleon saw and celebrated their successful hits, they noted how Drago and Sunshine appeared to be preparing another attack. Oh, snap. Not good. The female, who faced Drago, could see that, although powerful and obtaining excelent Defense, Drago was slow. The chameleon attempted to dodge, but was too slow in reactions and ended up having her foot clamped with the Dragon type's teeth. She howled in pain, whipping around and trying to claw at Drago's face in a Scratch attack.
The male Kecleon, however, couldn't see much point in dodging, for there were too many beads of energy. He ducked and twisted about, but he couldn't avoid all the Absorb attack, of course. Several of them puntured his rough skin, collecting his energy and drawing them back to Sunshine, healing her. He moved in too, this time for an Astonish.

As the battle went on, Damien realized that double battles were more difficult than the standard single battles. Not only did he have to think about which attacks to use, but also concentrate on the situations that both Pokemon were in. Back to the Pokemon though, Drago grinned as he caught the Kecleon in his mouth. Sure it wasn't a huge blow, but, as long as he didn't let go, his opponent would not be going anywhere. Of course, this puts him at a disadvantage as well. Realizing his predicament, Drago realized that a constant barrage of assaults, even on his defense, would cause his to lose the battle. Sunshine, on the other hand, sighed in content as the beads of energy replenished her. Feeling refreshed, Sunshine waited for her trainer's orders. Looking at the predicaments his Pokemon were in, Damien said, "Drago, let go of the foot and use Bite on the female Kecleon after the Scratch attack. Sunshine, unleash a Sweet Scent to stop the male Kecleon in his tracks." Both Pokemon nodded and prepared to do what they were told. Drago, albeit a little reluctantly, let go of his opponent's foot. Sunshine shook her leafy hair in order to release the sweet smell that would stop even a rampaging Aggron in it's tracks.

<ooc> I hope you don't mind, but since Birdy is out on vacation I'm going to be modding this thread until she gets back.
<ic> The female Kecleon snarled in frustration as Drago let go of her foot, causing her to unbalance and fall backwards, abruptly ending a very unsuccessful Scratch attack. Suddenly, the Bagon's sharp teeth were in her neck. This was not looking good... She disappeared once more in a Faint Attack, if only to escape that dangerous attack. The battle was turning... but luckily, since she was now a dark-type, her Faint Attack would be a little more powerful since both she and the move were the same type.
Meanwhile, the male Kecleon had jumped backwards, away from the harmless-looking pink cloud which was slowly expanding. He wasn't going to fall for that again! At least, not if he could help it.
