ooc// I remember that from a very annoying Regi I was trying to catch once. The battle took forever 'cos it kept getting all it's stats upped, which takes some time.
ic// Poochyena was hit by the Ancient Power, and felt more pain that he had on the last occasions. Of course. Doc's stats must have been raised. Well, he'd raised his attack stat, so hopefully their Attack stats, at least, would be an even match. Well, no matter. It was his move now. The Grunt smirked, calling out his next attack, "Tackle!"
Tackle, of course. That was Poochyena's only offensive move, so it was very likely that Doc and Blake would be seeing a lot of it this fight. The dog raced towards the Cubone, in a powerful charging attack.

Doc swung his body around and used is Tail Whip to try and defend but it nearly knocked him down in the process. He skids and bangs against a tree. Doc glanced up and spies the Treeko, and suddenly deeply buried memories of his own mother bubble to the surface and he turned the rage of those memories, his own feelings of helplessness against Poochyena with another Ancient Power.

Poochyena wasn't effected by the Tail Whip, for Doc had, after all, been knocked over, which had stopped the move. A smile crossed his muzzle, and the typical Grunt Pokémon was hit by a little over half of the Ancient Power thanks to his attempt to dodge it. He'd kept on his feet, although he was pretty battered.
The Grunt tried to follow Doc's gaze as he looked up. He saw a rustling clump of leaves, and his eyes narrowed, suspicious. However, the rustling soon stopped. Perhaps Doc shouldn't look in Treeco's way too much, or she might be discovered. As a rare Pokémon, the Grunt would be happy. "Ha! Don't dare use anything other than your pathetic Egg Move, eh, whimpy? Poochyena, show him a real Egg Move!" he called.
The dog lunged forwards, smiling a sly cunning smile. His jaw opened, fangs gleaming pale blue as tendrils of ice cracked along them. This was, no doubt, an Ice Fang. Doc wasn't the only one with an Egg Move!

Doc's eyes were wide as dinner plates when he saw the Ice Fang coming at him. In a panic he used the only thing he had at his disposal to protect himself. He gripped his club in both hands and swung at Poochyena with all his might.
Ooc:/This is more of a 'keep away from me maneuver' then an actual attack since Cubone doesn't learn Bone Club for another two levels.

ooc// Whether or not you call it an attack, it's still damage inflicted in the same way as an attack Cubone doesn't know...
ic// The Grunt snarled as he saw the stupid protection method. He gave a snort of laughter. Silly Doc. Aw, was he scared? Poor ickle Pokékman woz scared? Well, so what! He was cruel. His eyes narrowed. "Aw, are we scared now the opponent's using an Egg Move? Well, this'll teach you! Poochyena, ICE FANG!" he practically screamed.
Poochyena wove around Doc. Well, he'd been using a strong egg move, Ancient Power, so why could he? Well, he would now! Twisting around, he attemped to clamp his jaws down on Doc.

Ooc:/ Okay. Won't do it again.
Ic:/Doc bit his lip as Poochyena sank his Ice Fang into his arm. With a growl in his throat he grabs Poochyena's ear and with new power coursing through him, launches another Ancient Power point blank.

Poochyena wriggled to break free from Doc's grip on his ear. What was he doing? Was he going to perhaps eat Poochyena? He looked ready to; he was using an attack without his trainer even telling him to do! Poochyena broke free, but it wasn't any use. He'd barely taken a step before the Ancient Power hit. He fell, and first it didn't look as if he'd get to his paws, but eventually he managed this, although only just. The Grunt's Ekans daemon hissed sympathetically, and the Grunt himself frowned. He was loosing? No, impossible! Poochyena didn't look up for moving much until he'd had a little rest. "Howl, Poochyena!" he called.
Poochyena's Howl was long and soul-chilling, rather creepy and sinister. The dog's Attack stat had been raised, but if Blake called Doc to attack, he wouldn't use that rise; Poochyena could clearly only take one more attack before he would faint.

Doc was sweating badly, the Tackles weren't much. But the Ice Fangs were another thing. Another attack might spell his doom, but that Howl interruption was just was he needed. Summoning all his strength as Blake gave the command, Doc unleashed one final Ancient Power.

Poochyena could see that Doc was weakening, but that didn't really make him feel any better. As the Ancient Power came rushing at him, there was little he could do. His legs felt like some kind of frail, brittle jelly. He groaned as the attack hit, collapsing. His whole body shook with effort as he tried to get up, but simply collapsed back to the ground again. He had fainted. The Grunt's mouth was open in shock, and he made an odd gulping noise, before returning Poochyena and dashing off. Something fell from his pocket. A- a Great Ball. Hm, that could come in handy.
Meanwhile, Treeco was slinking out carefully from her hiding place, looking impressed. She dropped down to the lowest branch, smiling at Blake. ~Yousa pretty good trainer, mate.~ she complimented.

"Thank Doc. He's the one who did all the battling. And I'm going to thank him myself with a potion for his wounds." Blake said as he rummaged for the potion. Serenity however walks over to the dropped Great Ball and picks it up. "I guess this is ours now." she said with a smile. "Ugh....those Ice Fangs are sure nasty." Doc groaned as Blake sprays him gently with the Potion, "Hey Blake. Did I get hit harder then I thought or is your backpack glowing?" Blake then realized his backpack WAS glowing. Blake quickly removed what was glowing in his backpack, a Pokemon egg, gently wrapped in several hoodies to keep it from getting cold or damaged as they traveled.
Ooc:/ I never understood why they took Bone Club off as a Cubone's Base attack.

ooc// Me neither. Oh, I forgot earlier, but Doc gained two levels! Haha, he knows Bone Club now!
ic// Treeco shifted closer, curious to see what was going on. It seemed to be a Pokémon egg. Yes, it was the kind she'd seen when Raticate had slashed her, only those had been purple with a single cream splodge; Rattata coloured. However, this egg's colour seemed like it would bare no resemblance to the Pokémon inside. That was fine, she supposed. A network of fat cracks had streaked across it, the glow coming from inside. The shell broke apart, revealing the baby.
It was a little Tyrogue. It blinked, adjusting to the light and staring at Blake. It's face lit up into a smile. It was very sweet, and it seemed to have taken an instant liking to the trainer. Aw. Treeco moved closer. She seemed to adore the baby as though... almost... she wanted to care and protect it. ~Can I...?~ she asked, reaching out in hopes of holding it. Blake hatched a Tyrogue!Name:Species: Tyrogue Gender:Level: 5 Ability: Guts Attacks: Helping Hand, Tackle, Foresight, Fake Out, Bullet Punch(egg move) Personality: Name: Species: Tyrogue Gender: Level: 5 Ability: Guts Attacks: Helping Hand, Tackle, Foresight, Fake Out, Bullet Punch Personality:

After streaching his arms Rogue reached out and picked up Treeko instead.
Ooc:/ I mean he is twice her size.
"Hi there!" Rogue said with a big smile on his face. "Friendly little guy isn't he" Doc said as he streached and swung his club a couple times praticingly.

ooc// ... a baby... just come out a little egg...
ic// Treeco growled as she was picked up, leaping back to her branch. She definately did not like to be picked up by anything. Folding her arms, she couldn't help but look back. He was, of course, sweet, but still. He'd invaded her personal space bubble. She refused to take such a hit on her ego; she was a dominant pack leader by nature, and so it was quite an insult, in her opinion, to make her look like a silly cub. ~Dun' touch me.~ she grumbled.

Ooc:/Hey. I was just going by the pokedex at www.serebii.netIc:/ Rogue was confused now, did he do something wrong. Treeko was much smaller then him despite he just being born. He looked up into his trainers face for reassurance. Blake smiled as he carefully sat down on the ground. "Don't worry. Just let me get you cleaned up." Blake said as he pulled out a cloth to clean off the last of the birth goo. Rogue of course was surprised, his trainer spoke with his MIND! This was so cool to him! His trainer could speak with is mind! While Blake cleaned up Rogue Doc walked up to the tree and looked up at Treeko. "Hey. Don't take it so hard. He is a newborn, he can't be expected to know about personal space. Plus he's a fighting type. They're all physical by nature. Not like you or me." Doc said craning his neck to try and keep Treeko in sight.

Treeco's yellow lizard eyes narrowed. Just a baby! Babies were weak when they first hatched, Fighting type or not! If she couldn't fit in an egg that small, then how would something that large? No, she didn't like that one bit. At first she'd liked Rogue, but now it seemed she detested him.
She hissed softly to Doc. ~I don't care.~ she said, leaping to a higher branch. It seems she wanted to sulk in peace. Her pride had taken a huge hit, and she wasn't exactly happy about that. In the distance, a glimpse of purple fur was seen, but she didn't bother telling any of the others.
