Rattata heard Blake speak. It hadn't taken it's eyes off the enemy, had it? The Pokéball was an enemy, too, and it had been watching Treecko the whole time it hadn't been warding off capture. Rattata thought that it was important, warding off capture. It saw Treecko coming, moving out the way. However, Treecko changed course, striking it easily with that Pound attack. Rattata swayed, blinked, recovered- and fainted.

Once again the red and white sphere went at the Ratata as Doc hurried over to Treeko. "You OK? That looked like one rough battle." Doc said worriedly as Rogue toddles over and falls flat on his face.

Treecko nodded. She was fine. She beamed. No, she was more than fine. She was stronger! She was better! She had had fun, and she had beaten one of those annoying Rattata whose colony had scarred her! ~Of course I'm OK. It's just a battle. Say, you're a pretty good trainer. And, as you can see, this place isn't too friendly on me. Could I... perhaps... come along with you?~[/color] she asked hopefully. Rattata, now fainted, could not bat the Pokéball away. It was absorbed inside, and the Pokéball began to shake- the fiesty Pokémon still wasn't giving up. However, now it was fainted, capture was easier. The Pokéball clicked to announce the capture after a while. Phew! At last! Rattata was caught! Both Doc and Rogue looked at Blake as he picked up Rattata's pokeball and nods. "It would be an honor and a privlage to have someone with your experience with us. Welcome aboard." Blake said with a smile as he held out a poke'ball for Treecko.

Treecko smiled, tapping the button on the Pokéball with a green gecko hand. A flash of red light drew the Grass type inside, and she tried to remain as still as she could, knowing that movement would corrupt the capture. After a little while, she relaxed, hearing the same ping as from the Rattata, and she knew that she now belonged to Blake. Well, she was ready for adventures!
