"Hm, this place sure is nice, isn't it guys?" Sai asked, leaning back against the trunk of the tree from the high, thick branch he was sitting on. The riolu he was petting looked up from his position in the eevee 'morph's lap." Yeah, I almost feel like taking a nap." Nate yawned, cuddling up to Sai a bit more. A light breeze sweeped over then and it seemed that nothing could disturb their peace. That is until........Boom!
"Ow!" Sai yelp as he felt a small pain in the top of his head and a wonderful sensation as if a small electrical charge had shot through his body. He didn't even have to look to tell that Hiroki was showing Sparky how to use Volt Tackle effectively. Luckily, She was still within their required range so no pain was cause due to that."Hiroki, You need too work on your aim I felt that head on collision with whatever you hit." Sai complained.
The pikachu daemon looked at him with slightly narrowed eyes. "I was actually trying to show Sparky how to get a hit while inflicting least damage on yourself. Which is why you only felt minimal pain!" Hiroki quipped back.
Sai rolled his eyes at her and put Nat on his shoulders as he began to climb down the tree." Well, be more carefully and anyway, Hiwoki." He lisped teasingly just to annoy her a bit. He finally reach the ground to see the little Pichu smiling up at him.

A small Pokémon's wings gave a flap, her beak clicking nervously. What lay down there? She'd seen the flash of electricity and hadn't liked it one bit. In fact, she doubted she'd go down there at all now. But then again, maybe they'd have food. And maybe she'd be able to challenge them to a fight! Fight and food... yes, that would sure be good. Yummy scrummy. Spearow swooped a little lower, peering through the tree's branches to view the scene below. Seeing that they were laughing, she sighed in relief, landing neatly on a branch next to Sai.
This boy... was odd. He had little brown ears like a Pokémon, and was talking to them! Wow!Spearow was impressed. There was a word for these people... Pokémorphs? Yes, that was it. This boy must be a Pokémorph. But with what? Spearow couldn't think of a Pokémon with ears like that. ~H-hi. I'm Spearow. Um... I'm really, really hungry. And... d-don't mind me asking, but what are you a Pokémorph of?~ she asked nervously.

Sai's ear perked up as he noticed the little bird pokemon. He smiled broadly, reaching out a hand and stroking the bird's head. He that she looked utterly cute but that was his opinion about most small pokemon. He gently pick the pokemon from he perch and held her in a craddled position." I hope you don't mind me holding you without asking first, its just you're soo cute. I couldn't help myself." He laughed embarrassedly, rubbing the back of his head with one hand, stilling craddling her in the other arm. He looked down at her with a happily." I'm an Eevee 'morph or atleast that's what most would call me. I still consider myself an eevee. Oh, and I don't mind you asking at all its no problem."
He found his bag near the base of the tree and opened it, digging throught the contents. A pokeball, nope. A, ribbon and bows, nope. " Ah, here it is." He saidm pulling out a pack of crackers, he looked eating crackers so it was no surprise he had them. He held one out to the Spearow." Here, have some of these. Do you have a name?" He asked almost looking, contect to be friends and not battle unless requested.

At first, Spearow was confused as Sai's hand came towards her. She motioned to back away at first, then thought better of it and allowed the 'morph to touch her. Man, that felt good. She listened to what he had to say, clearly liking this kid. Wait, what? She was... cute? Most people tried to bat her away, saying she was an ugly, bald, stealing pest. At least, that's what they said when she tried to get a little snack. The Spearow's eyes closed in pleasure as Sai cradled it. An Eevee kid, huh? Interesting. Those were pretty rare. Lots of trainers looooved those.
At the sight of the crackers, Spearow's eyes lit up in even more joy, if that were possible. She twittered her thanks, taking one and nibbling it with her beak until nothing was left. She then took another and began to attack it. They were delicious. ~Oh, thank you! Crackers are my favourites!~ she said between beakfulls. When she felt full, she sighed happily. ~No, I don't have a name. Not yet, anyway.~ she answered his question.

Sai smiled even more, happy that the bird pokemon was enjoying herself in his company. He stroked her head a few more times and smiled down at her. He honestly did think she was super cute and he had always wanted a bird pokemon. His talls albino colored ears twitched.
"Well, I'm glad you like them. I enjoy eating them myself also." He said as his daemon, Hiroki, who was still in her Pikachu for walked over to them with his Pichu, Sparks." Hiya Sai-Sai, Who's this bird? Is she a new playmate." He asked happily bouncing on his toes. Sai laughed at the tiny electric mouse." She's a new friend me and Nate met." He said, the riolu in his lap smiling at the Spearow." Um, I was wondering..." The riolu began before a flash from Sai's belt cut him off and release a shiny magby. The little pokemon looked around for about a second before spotting the Spearow, without hesitation. The question came out." Will you battle me?"

Spearow took a little hop back at the sight of the Pikachu and Pichu; she didn't like Electric types much, because they hurt a lot when they shocked Flying types like her especially. She cocked her head to one side in the manner of a confused dog as a shiny Magby burst from his Pokéball and requested a battle. That was... random. However, random as it seemed, it did appeal to the Spearow. Fighting was a great exercise, and Spearow weren't really known for turning down the oppertunity to fight. The bird smiled through her beak, nodding to the Magby.
~I'll battle you, sure. Just don't expect to win!~ Spearow cried as she rose into the air, lining the Fire type up in her line of vision. She then leaned forwards and angled her wings expertly, diving and swooping quite fast towards her new opponent. Her beak glinted and looked sharp and ready; she was going to use a Peck attack.

Everybody except for Sai scrambled away from the two pokemon, picking a comfortable and safe place to watch the battle from. Sai rose to his feet, slightly taken off guard but shook it of and instantly ordered the first attack that came to mind.
"Flare, use Smog! The dodge."
Hearing the command from hiis trainer, the shiny magby took a deep breath and exhaled a large cloud of thick smoke at the nearing bird pokemon and step to the side a foot from his original position. He was so excited. this was his first battle and he refused to lose.

Spearow watched the others get out the way from the corner of her eye, but she wasn't too focused on them. They weren't the battle, so they weren't too important right now. Besides, she was concentrating on her Peck attack. She saw the Smog, the poisonous cloud of purple being exhaled right in her path. Her eyes widened in fear, trying to correct her path to hit Flare anyway, but it all failed and she ended up crashing inside the Smog attack. It died down now it had done it's work, and Searow felt weaker.
She clicked her beak in annoyance. Hphm. She'd been caught out that time, but it wouldn't happen again... right? The bird Pokémon lifted herself into the air, shooting like a jet at Flare again, beak hardening all the while. She was moving in to deliver a Peck attack again.

Sai nodded happily as the attack did its job, but not missing a beat his eyes and mind where back focused on spearow as soon as she was visible through the cloud.
"Flare, a little two your left then use smog again."
The little fire pokemon smiled. This was a fun battle. He was so excited about his firt battle that when he inhaled for smog, he forgot to move to the left. Oh, well the last move he used would work again on such a close ranged strategist like the spearow, wouldn't it?

Spearow saw another Smog coming. Another? Why another? The bird shrugged. Well, she would have had she not been flying at that perticular moment in time. Perhaps it was the only offensive move Flare knew, or something. Well, that was good. Made the Magby nice and predictable. She arched away from the smog, still coughing a little as she breathed in a little of it.
The Flying type then curved around to face Flare's back. She was flying at a great speed, having used momentum from her drop to speed her up. She was aiming to use another Peck attack. Would she landed her first hit of the battle?

Sai winced a little as the peck attack connected with Flare, he knew this was the little Fire type's first battle and it would be tough with his moveset against the spearow. But that didn't matter to him, he still believed that they could defeat spearow if they used their heads.
Flare went tumbling forward as Spearow's peck attack bore into his back, the speed of the impact combined with the unexpectedness of the collision meant that the flying type had probably gotten in a critical hit. Flare rolled back to his feet, a cute little glare on its face. Ok, he had just learned first hand one of the most unenjoyable aspects of battling, being hit. He let out a snarl in frustration. He would pay that Birdie back big time!
"You ok, Flare?" Sai asked inquisatively, smiling at the shiny magby nodded back." Ok, Then spin around and use Smog."
Flare nodded a bit and took in as deep a breath as he could, trying to make this smog more potent or possibly make it stay longer before it dissipated. He began to peroet on his tiptoes, spew and as much of the poisonous, purple smoke as he could. The large cloud of smoke began cover the general area around the magby, even over its head some. Sai had been strategizing that Spearow would have to dive into the smog and take damage just to hit Flare and even then her chance of hitting would be downed by the smog muffling her vision. Yeah, this was a great strategy.

Spearow flicked her wings to one side, spiralling into the air. She could guess what Flare's next attack was; a Smog, of course. Could those things Poison you? She hoped not. If they could, that wouldn't be so nice. Well, better check to see how the you shiny was getting on; she knew that the purple smoke wouldn't reach her up here. Turning in the air, she saw that her assumtions had been comfirmed. Flare had indeed used a Smog. Bah. That was a weak attack!
However, Spearow would have to dive into the attack if she wanted to hit Flare on this turn. Oh, that was a hard one! She had to choose between doing nothing or being hurt! Well, it was only a little pain... she wasn't the kind to let things like this go, so she rolled over and nose-dived into the fog. She coughed as she entered, feeling an ill feeling somewhere inside her. Oh. Looks like Smog could Poison Pokémon, then. Spearow kept moving forwards, howing, aiming a Peck several feet away from Flare.

The Tiny fire pokemon smirked as it seemed to have Spearow stumped. He was sure that her pride would lead her to dive into the smog after him and surely as he had guessed, it had. Would she be poisoned? He figured by all the smogs he'd used this one or the next one would infect her. He knew his attack was predictable, but he trusted that his trainer would make sure his attack pattern was not.
"Good Job, Flare!" Sai commented after watching the Spearow dive into the smog from the top. He'd climbed into a tree to get a better veiw of the battle, unusual but still effective." While she's still in there spin and use smog again" He commanded, hoping to overwhelm the litte bird Pokemon with the massive smog combination.
Flare smiled a bit. This battle had seemed one sided at first, but with his trainer's quick thinking it seemed to be within his grasp again and he would fight with all he had to win it. Once again, he began to pirouette on his tiptoes, spewing as much of the poisonous, purple smoke as he could, head tilted slight back so he could aim it into the air some, making it even more troublesome for the Bird Pokemon to get back into the air. The large cloud of smoke began cover the area over they shiny magby's head and even mixed with some of the left over smog that was already around him.

Spearow was trying to fly up and away from the smoke. Just another flap would do it! She was nearly there! But it was no use. The billowing cloud was this time stronger than any of the previous Smog attacks, what with being combined with the remains of the previous attack. She felt the burning poison enter her lungs, and she coughed, fluttering slowly higher. Once she emerged from the Smog cloud, the Poisoning took it's toll, making her wince. Just one or two attacks left to go now until she went down!
Spearow, however, was determined for exactly that not to happen. She waited until the majority of the Smog had blown over, before dropping like a stone towards Flare in a powerful Peck attack, her wings out in case she needed to move quickly, so she could avoid crashing into the ground.

Sai watched as Flare did exactly as he was told and the plan worked out just as it was supposed to. However, he knew this battle wasn't over yet, not by a long shot. He'd have to stay on his toes. He knew desperation breed unexpected miracles. He watched as the Smog cloud dissipated and Spearow wince as the poison took its toll on her body. She wouldn't last much longer. Smirking, he gave out what would hopefully be the final command of the battle.
"FLARE, LOOK UP AND USE SMOG!"
The Magby was startled a bit by the sudden command, but obeyed non the less. Looking up into the sky where Spearow was just about upon him, he took in as much air as he could, exhale the Smog with as much force and potency he could muster. He knew he'd probably take a heavy hit from the tackle but it didn't matter as long as he could finish Spearow off.
