Demyx saw that Oddish nodded, and vegan to dig once more in his pack for his pokeballs. Maybe I shouls put them in my pocets, he wondered as he pulled them out. "I only have two, right now," he informed Oddish as he released them. Munchlax was still very tired from the eariler battle, where she was defeated, but she was resting. Dyme was rested, not fully, but enough to battle again if needed.
"~Oddish wants to try battleing,~" Myde told Demyx as Munchlax wandered over to a bush to eat some berries. "Of course you can," the trainer told the wild pokemon.

Oddish sniffed the two new Pokémon, pleased to be meeting them. It hadn't seen a Munchlax or an Eevee before, and so was rather interesting in seeing what they were like. They looked fairly comfortable with the whole having Demyx as a trainer things, which made the Grass type feel a bit better about the possibility of being caught. Now it wouldn't mind if it were caught; these Pokémon were awesome!
Hey, what was that? Demyx had... had accepted its battle request? Oh, wow! Wowowow! The weed Pokémon shone with joy, cheerfulness overwhelming. It was actually impressive to see how happy this Pokémon could get. Right. Battle time. Oddish could see that Munchlax was too tired to fight, while Dyme was just about ready. It faced the Eevee, shaking the leaves on its head to produce an array of little green energy beads; an Absorb attack.

Dyme followed sute and faced the Oddish, watching as the little green beads were produced from the leaves living on top of the pokemon's head. Demyx called to his Eevee, wondering if Dyme could use a tackle to both attack Oddish, but also dodge the absorb attack. He wasn't sure, though, being new to battleing. Dyme charged at Oddish with his tackle, a few of the green beads sticking to his fur and draining his energy.

Oddish saw Dyme run at it, feeling dribbles of health return to it as the Absorb came back. Of course, since only around half of the attack had actually hit Dyme, it didn't give back much health at all, but at least it was something. Oddish thought it felt rather nice, and smiled. This smile quickly disappeared as its eyes turned on the Eevee's progressing Tackle attack. Aah, that wasn't good. Too slow to dodge, Oddish was hit by the strong move, wincing in pain as it toppled over.
It was a little tricky to get back to its feet since it had no arms, but Oddish managed it all the same. Despite the pain, battling was quite exciting. It didn't think it would be able to dodge many attacks thanks to its traditional Grass type slowness, but it would manage. Oddish send another Absorb attack Dyme's way. Since Absorb was an accurate attack and not effected by Oddish's speed too much, hopefully it should hit.

Dyme turned fast, faced Oddish, but was breathing hard from being in two battles without healing. "Use yawn!" was heard comming from Demyx, juist before the absorb attack hit. Dyme sat downa nd uped his mouth to attack with yawn just as Oddish's attack hit him.

As Oddish yawned in response to Dyme's Yawn, it understood the kind of battler Demyx and Dyme both were. It seemed they liked to stop their opponents as far as possible, then attack as much as they could. Oddish felt somehow that doing that wouldn't be as much fun, since if the opponent was completely unable to do anything, it would just be like hitting a boring target, rather than getting the excitement of actually having a response to your attacks. Yes, Oddish had decided that unlike Demyx, it prefered to fight fair.
The green beads from the Absorb returned Oddish's health, making it feel almost as if it hadn't been battling at all. The Grass type wished it knew something better than Absorb. Something strong and offensive, like Razor Leaf or something. Still, learning new moves would come in time. For now, it needed to focus on the present. It knew that it would fall asleep soon, and so used another Absorb in hope to weaken Dyme as much as possible before that happened.

The absorb hit Dyme straight on once more. He was getting tired, partly from the Oddish, partly from battleing twice without healing. He tryed another tackle at Demyx's suggestion, hoping Oddish would fall alseep soon so he could rest abit before attacking again.

Health returned to Oddish from the Absorb. It was feeling all right, and was very happy indeed to see that Dyme was feeling weaker. It thought it was doing fairly well for its first ever battle! After all, Dyme looked tired while it just felt a little achy thanks to being healed by all the Absorbs! Oddish, like most Grass types, were slow Pokémon, so naturally this one was hit by the Tackle, managing to keep its feet.
Once the pain of the Tackle attack was over, Oddish realised that the Yawn's sleeping effect would take place then. How would it ever manage to learn from this battle if it were asleep? To be honest, how would Dyme learn anything from battle if all his opponents had to be asleep before he dared fight? In Oddish's opinion, it couldn't hurt to fight a proper, exciting battle where both sides could fight, rather than an unfair beating on a sleeping Pokémon. Oddish glared at the Eevee, sending out another Absorb as it fell asleep.

Dyme noticed Oddish's glare, and decided to explain quickly before it fell asleep. "I'm not fully healed as you were," he said, "Once we're both healed, we'll battle again." He barely managed to dodge the absorb as it tried out another tackle, though it would do less damage; he was tired.

As Oddish drifted off, she heard Dyme explain that he was tired. So? Didn't trainers use Potions if they needed to fight with a tired Pokémon? Urgh, whatever. Oddish was asleep before it could think of much more, but Dyme being tired certainly didn't make it feel any better about being asleep. The fox Pokémon's Tackle attack struck its mark, and Oddish grunted in its sleep. It seemed that if Dyme hit it too much, the pain would wake it up. Still, being asleep meant that it would take less damage anyway, since sleep was when the body healed itself. Oddish would still be weakened, of course, if Dyme could hit it enough.

OOC: Lol, a wild pokemon knows more than Demyx XD he's such a noob.
IC: Demyx asked Dyme to use another tackle, though he thought it was sort of boring when your opponents were asleep. When they were both healed, he would let them battle again, if they wanted. Dyme waited a moment to rest before using his tackle attack.

Again, Oddish could do nothing about the Tackle. The charging attack connected with the Grass type's rotund form, making it roll a little from the momentum transferred by the impact. That had been a stronger attack since Dyme had taken time to rest, and as a result Oddish stirred, mumbling Oddishy things as its green shoots waved gently and it turned over in its sleep. It seemed that when Dyme wanted his opponent to be awake again, all he needed to do was land as hard a hit as he could.

Dyme saw the Oddish stir, while, of course, mumbling Oddishy things. He began to wonder what type of things Oddish dream about as Demyx called for another tackle. The Eevee backed up and began running. I'll ask it when it wakes up, the pokemon thought as it grew near.
OOC: XD
