Sky laughed. "Ok then, if that's what you want," she glanced down at her Buziel, who had fell asleep at the sounds of raindropps, "I guess Star will have to go first..." She grinned. "Want to go now, or after the rain?" she asked, pulling out Star's Pokeball, "I guess I should ask her, too, huh?" She released her blue Kitu in a small flash of red light. "Sorry about the flash," the human told Wooper, then introduced the two, "Star, thos is Wooper, and vice versa." She laughed again.

Wooper nodded, saying, ”Well, it’d probs be better for you after the storm, since water heals me and this little area is kinda cramped.” He gave a small bow to the dancing cat Pokemon. She looked like a formidable foe, but he noticed she almost appeared a bit fatigued or something…had she been fighting recently? ”Pleasure to meet you, but you okay? Maybe you should rest some more before we fight, I don’ wanna be unfair.” Turning to Sky, he asked, ”Do you have any of those spray-on things that make Pokemon feel better fast? I saw a Trainer use one before. It was kind of…” In truth, he was somewhat creeped out by the Potions, but he was also curious to see one in use up close. A small ray of sunlight appeared where the entrance to the mini cavern was, and he watched it, distracted. "Hey, looks like the storm's over! There'll be lots of puddles now."

Sky nodded. "I think I do..." she said, begining to dig through her bag. Soon, she pulled one out. "I think this is it," she said, examining the Potion. She then looked up at the Wooper's exited cry. "Your right," she replied, "Let's go out now, shall we?"

”Sure thing,” Wooper agreed and he led the way out of the cavern, although he turned around quickly, hoping to see how Sky healed the Kitu with the strange spraying medicine. It was quite wet outside—small puddles littered the ground here and there, and the grass sprayed water on all who passed through it. Weak sunlight covered the Route, although it was slowly growing stronger, and while the sky was still full of clouds, there was a good amount of blue in it now. The heavier stormclouds had already passed over and they could be seen in the distance. Wooper was tempted to select a wet and muddy patch of ground for fighting as he knew he’d really have the advantage, but he wanted to be fair—as a good part of him did want to go with Sky—so he found a drier patch that was still wet, but at least not full of mud and water. ”Do I get to go first?”

"Hold on," Sky replied, letting Buziel continue to sleep. She left and bent down on a semi-dry area with Star. "Here you go," she said, spraying the Potion on the Kitu. She immeditly looked better too. ~You can go first~ Star told the Wooper, smiling herself.

Whoa, so that was how the Potion worked. Spray and then bam! Health! Well, he better concentrated on his battle. Giving Star the thumbs up, Wooper drew back a little, wondering how he would make his first move. He had met a Kitu or two before in his time, so he knew she’d be a normal-type; therefore, Mud Sport would be useless. That only left Water Gun and Tail Whip. Well, gotta use what you got, he thought to himself, splashing a puddle to encourage himself and then suddenly twisting around, whipping his tail back and forth in a Tail Whip, trying to lower Star’s defense. As soon as that was done, he wasted no time in twisting around, and yelling, ”Fwah!” he held his breath and then shot water straight at Kitu with Water Gun, slapping his tail in the mud and splattering it behind him as he did so. Luckily there wasn’t anything behind him, but had there been, they would have been covered with muck.

Wooper's Tail Whip had worked, lowering Star's defense, but the Water Gun simply sprayed her fur, which didn't do much at the time. It could slow her down, though. The shiny Kitu used a Sweet Kiss, and if Wooper got close enough she would use Tickle then Scratch. She formed the demandign look a, Sweet Kiss she demanded.

Wooper pumped his tail in the air (since he lacked fists), yelling, ”Score!” as he saw his Water Gun connect with his target. But, what was this? The Kitu, previously hidden by the spray of water, was now coming towards him, her lips puckered. A kiss? ”Yo, I know I’m kind of hip, but I’m not that cool!” he protested, realizing that it was an attack too late. He tried to roll to the side, but the Kitu caught him smack on the horn and he abruptly felt a little dizzy, a little light-headed, and a little…free. He backflipped twice, the Tickle and Scratch missing by pure luck, and he struck a pose. ”Well hey, you want a show, you got it!” Eagerly he shot two Water Guns straight into the sky, spraying everyone with little droplets that did practically nothing. It was pretty much a given that this Pokemon was now Confused.

"Alright!" Sky called, seeing her Kitu's attack had hit, and... worked? She was sprayed with water. That was odd. Star knew exactly knew what happened, though. The Wooper was confused. She went in with another Tickle, then a nother Scratch, as her last two had missed. She neared the wild Pokemon, looking inncocent as ever, a sweet look on her face.

Considering that he was simply standing there somewhat stupidly, proud of the Water Guns, Wooper was easily hit by the Tickle executed by Star. He fell over backward, chortling happily and waving his little feet in the air, sinking a little into the mud and relaxing in it. ”Hahaha, Star, you’ve got a mud splot on your chin! Hahaha,” he said, pointing feebly at her as she came in for the Scratch, getting a good hit on his arm. ”Yo, yo, that spot on your chin, let me clean it for you, Star!” While the Scratch attack hit, Wooper had fired a Water Gun attack straight at the Kitu’s face, and from such a close proximity, it was almost guaranteed that it would hit. However, Wooper was unable to see if it actually had, for instead he rolled around in the mud, rubbing his cheek with his tail where the Scratch attack had landed. ”Yowch! What in Giratina’s Distortional Wonderland was that?”

Star was laughing as the water gun hit her and she was swung back, landing on the muddy water. She got up, her fur all muddy and dirty, though she didn't partucilarly care. She was still giggling as she got up again, soaked. ~I'm gonna have some fun, too~ she called, dancing around in circles around Wooper, trying to dry her fur, as she went in with Scratches every now and then, and then another Tickle. She tried three attackes in all. Scratch, Tickle, Scratch.

All attacks hit. The first Scratch landed easily, for Wooper was still sprawled in the mud, now rolling around and getting himself quite dirty. ”Yowch! There it is again! Star, what is it? It’s like the mud has teeth or something, slashing me up!” He jumped up, a brown blob with two eyes and horns, and shook himself, waving his tail in a Tail Whip as he did so. Even with the fairly safe attack, due to the confusion he managed to smack himself with his own hefty tail right as the Tickle hit, causing him to roll around guffawing and losing both Defense and Attack before Star hit with the second Scratch and he jumped up again, indignant. ”Yah, Mud With Fangs! Fanged Mud! Don’t think I’ll show you any kindness! Star, help me!” he cried gallantly, shooting a powerful Water Gun straight at the mud beneath him, causing flecks to splatter everywhere.

Star laughed as Sky began craking up behind her. Cloud simply grinned; he wasn't one to show much emotion. ~Get out of the mud~ Star suggested, trying to pick him up and helping him out. But she failed and they both fell back in the mud, the dark substance sinking into the Kitu's fur. About the time Wooper was crying about the Fanged Mud, Buziel emerged, still groggy, and immediutly began laughing.

While normally the Wooper might have valiantly tried to calm everyone down, the Confused Wooper only stared around vaguely, laughing along with the rest of them. "Well, I couldn't get out of the mud, but looks like it stopped biting me," he commented, rolling around and getting covered even more with the gunky stuff. He tried as well to get out, but failed, remaining squirming around on his back. "Wow, Star, the clouds are really going away, huh? The sky is so blue." Clearly, the Sweet Kiss had put him into a bit of a dazey confusion. Suddenly, his eyes focused a little, and he managed to sit upright. "Hey, wait, weren't we in the middle of a battle here? ..." He looked as if he had gotten himself together for a few moments, then plopped down again. "Ahhhhh...battle, shmattle."

Star giggled and looked back up at Sky. Winking. She used another Scratch while Wooper wasn't looking and called out as if the Fanged Mud, as it was called, bite her, as well. She stood up and rubbed a spot on her side. She hadn't actually gotton hurt, but she wanted to acts like that because even a Confused Wooper could be suspicious.
