Sky wandered along route one, the sky growing continualy darker. Her Kitu, who happened to be partly blue, danced along side her as Cloud, her daemon, flew just above her head as a Staraptor. Her wings hung loosely beside her, and she was glad they didn't always have to be painfully pressed against her back. "How about Star?" she asked thoughtfully to know one in paticular, to which Cloud replied ~For what?~ "A name," she replied, bending down as her Kitu stopped infront of her, "For you."
~I like it!~ the newly named Star replied, dancing around some more, happily, of course. "I'm glad," Sky told her, smiled and standing up straight again. ~As am I,~ the flying daemon told them.

Unaware of the Staraptor pokemorph, her dæmon, and the newly named Star traipsing down Route 1, a Buizel nosed his way through the lush green ferns, lolloping forward on all fours as he muttered to himself, glancing at the sky every so often. Nighttime was beginning to gather, yes, but the dark clouds that floated closer spoke of a heavy rainstorm. Not that he didn’t like rain; on the contrary, Buizel’s split tail wriggled with happiness as he anticipated the idea of frolicking in the stream or rolling around in the mud. No, what he was worried about were the winds. The fur pricked on his back as he chanced a peek upward at the heavy clouds again. Padding forward to the edge of the trees, Buizel pushed himself upward with a tiny grunt, peering around attentively over the tall grass as he stood on two legs. At first he didn’t seem to see any kind of shelter, but then a large, winged figure making its way down the Route with two Pokemon in tow caught his eye. ”Hmm…maybe?” he muttered to himself, creeping a little closer and watching the trio. He had seen Trainers before—if he were that Trainer’s Pokemon, he would be able to stay cozy in a Pokeball when he needed to, and perhaps the Trainer would be friendly enough to let him out to play in the mud when he wanted, too.
Well, maybe he could see what this Trainer was all about. He edged even closer now, standing on his tiptoes to see over a bush that concealed him. Whoa, the Trainer had wings! That was cool. He shook himself, and then decided: perhaps he would try to battle the winged Trainer. If she were good enough and seemed nice to her Pokemon, he might end up being caught, and if she seemed mean, he could always run away. Happy with his plan, he deliberately scuttled across the Trainer’s path, watching her dæmon and speaking to it, knowing it would be able to translate. ”Fancy a quick battle? There’s a storm coming this way.”
{ Male || Lv. 6 || Attacks: Sonicboom, Growl, Water Sport, Quick Attack, Water Gun }
Ooc:// The attacks are there for my own reference so I don't have to go look at a Pokedex every time I reply to this. :V [/blockquote]

Cloud looked back to Sky after the Buizel spoke, knowing that he didn't have to translate. He landed, ruffling his feathers. "Sure," the winged Trainer replied, looking then at Star, "Ok with you?" Star nodded exitedly, pouncing into the battle area. ~Of course!~ she sang, ready for her first battle with Sky as her Trainer, ~Let's get this party started!~ She smiled, waiting for the wild pokemon.

Buizel nodded, flushing a little happily as the Trainer accepted his offer. Good, she could understand Pokemon speech! That would make things much easier. Nodding to Star, he paced around her warily, not exactly sure how to make the first move. The Kitu’s fur was a shimmery blue, so he incorrectly assumed she could be a Water type—but after all he had never seen a Kitu before—so he decided not to use Water Spout. After considering for a few moments, he decided to start off with a nice, neutral Growl, the blue fur on his arms lifting to make him look larger. ”Here I go,” he called, and he suddenly darted towards Kitu, head lowered slightly and shoulders hunched, speeding towards her in an unmistakable Quick Attack. Like the rest of his species, he was fairly fast, and he hoped that speed would come in handy as he honed in on his target, his split tail whipping behind him. [/blockquote]

Star nodded back. The growl had been heard, and lowered her attack, though she didn't know that. She used a growl as well, just in case. Then the Buizel began a quick attack. She new Buizels were fast, but not that fast. She tried to jump out of the way, but was just barely hit. Now revenge was needed, in her mind at least. She used a scratch at Sky's suggestion.

The wild Buizel skidded to a halt about a meter away from Star, looking back with surprise. He felt that he had clipped the Kitu, but not very well. Shrugging, he shook his fur a little as he felt his attack being lowered by Star's own responding Growl. What to do? He thought for a few seconds and then decided on Water Gun, drawing himself up on two legs and sucking in air to prepare for the attack. But the Kitu had jumped at him, scratching across his chest with sharp claws--he scrambled back, his cream and orange belly stinging from the well-placed move. For a few seconds he stayed hunched over, eyes squeezed tight, but soon he was back on his feet, Growling again from the exertion. Deciding to try again, he bounded a little closer this time before opening his mouth, and let loose a Water Gun in the form of a jet of water shot straight at Star. [/blockquote]

Star was hit directly with the Water Gun, and she flipped backwards, landing skillfuly on her paws. "Try another Scratch, then try another one," Sky called. The kitu went forward, claws extended, towards the Buizel. After that, she would turn to repeat her last attack..
OOC: If a Kitu has more attacks that it would've learned before it's current level, does it still get the moves? O.o

Ooc:// ? I’m not sure what you mean, but at the moment Star should know the moves Growl, Sing, Scratch, Endure, Sweet Kiss, and one egg move—she shouldn’t be able to know Tackle, from what I can see in the Kitu move list (it’s posted in Pokedex Entries). How about you change Star’s second attack to another Scratch, instead? Or maybe the egg move you chose for her.

Ooc:// Hmm, that's odd. Well, if I gave you the wrong code, sorry on my part.
Ic:// Yes! A score! Tiptoeing back, Buizel let out a quick bark of delight at the well-aimed attack, feeling like dancing a little himself. Water Gun seemed to be good, then, especially when he could get in close to make sure the attack would hit. His confidence only increased as he neatly dodged the Kitu’s first Scratch, breathing heavily as he rolled to the side and scrambled up, thumping the ground with his tail at the enjoyment of the good fight. Then he glanced upward briefly to check the clouds--hmm, it would rain soon, probably in another 10 minutes or so. Star caught the Buizel with the Scratch as he was deliberating, and he yelped as the second attack surprised him and he flew backward from the force of it, skidding across the grass. He sat, dazed for a moment, and then sprung to his feet again, ignoring the grass stains in his orange fur and bounding towards Star once more, opening his mouth to fire another Water Gun. He could feel himself getting a bit tired, but if the Kitu thought the battle was over yet, she would be wrong.

Star grinned as her second attack hit. She rolled to the side, dodging the Water Gun, though a spray of water hit her. She flattened her fur with her paws, preparing to use Sweet Kiss. The blue Kitu then made sure that Buizel was looking at her when she used the attack. OOC: You gave me the right code, just not all of the attacks

Buizel watched Star carefully, tail lowering with a little disappointment as his second Water Gun missed, instead hitting a tree to the side and splattering her with damaging water. Well, at least there was that. He barked with alarm as the Kitu suddenly came towards him, her lips puckered. Oh no, what was this, Attract or something? Cringing he dashed to the side, his speed barely saving him as the Sweet Kiss just managed to brush his tail. He stumbled forward, a bit woozy, but he had been saved from the brunt of the attack. Shaking himself, he vowed not to get hit with – that – under any circumstances, still feeling his head spinning a little bit.
Better not try another Quick Attack. Instead he would stay away, in case the kiss attack struck again. Shivering a little at the thought, and deciding to play safe this round, he stood on his hind legs and barked loudly, using Sonicboom. The wide attack rushed towards Star, causing the grass to ripple as the sound wave passed over it.
Ooc:// Ooh. My bad.

Star hopped up in hopes of escaping the attack, but was flung higher in the air where she then landed on a tree branch, clinging to it. She made her way up so she was standing on it, and decided to do something that could possibly to alot of damage. Unfourtunetly, she didn't have many attacks like that. She used Growl, then Sing, then a Scratch attack, once she was back on the ground, of course.
OOC: No problem ;D

Buizel thumped the ground again with his tail, happy that the Sonicboom had hit. I'll use Sonicboom again then, he thought to himself, watching Star high in the tree. Whoo, Sonicboom had to be pretty good to get her all the way up there. He readied himself as she jumped down elegantly, shaking his fur out with irritation as the Growl attack washed over him. He bounced to the side, opening his mouth to get ready for his second Sonicboom when…a pleasant melody washed over him. He shivered and his gaze became unfocused as he listened to the relaxing song, feeling his eyelids drooping. I’m…sooooo…sleepy…did the storm come yet? Staggering forward, Buizel tried to stay awake. Sonic…boom…soni… he thought as he finally fell on the ground and began to snore, scratching his stomach. The Scratch hit him easily and he flapped his limbs a little, although he was still sleeping.

Star sighed as she relized she would be safe from some of Buizel's attacks for a while. She began to use Scratch continualy as the rain began to drizzle. She hardly noticed untill the wind chilled her wet fur. Sky glanced up at the falling water. "We should stop for a bit," she suggested, walking over to where the Buizel slept and where her Kitu had paused her attackes. If the wild pokemon still slept, she would bring him into some shelter under a tree or something. Cloud fluttered over to his human's shoulder, changing into a Mudkip upon arrival. He hated to be without wings, but he hated wet feathers as well.
